I don't usually write reviews, but this is absurdly unprofessional. $45 for zipper repair on two Nike Elite bags-I never mind paying for good service. He explained he would stop the zipper on one and there wouldn't be full usage there. The level of repair...I could have done at home with a bottle of glue. The other zipper was repaired but he dropped glue on the bag told me it would go away. He was rude and uninterested in customer satisfaction. Told me to fix the next one at home. Will do, Sir. I will never bring any business to this place, again. There's a better place on Satellite Blvd. Should have taken my business there. Lesson learned! I had a nice pair of dress shoes where the sole was falling apart, basically disintegrated. Rather than spend $200+ on a new pair, I took them here to get resoled. Lee has been here for 32 years, so I brought in another pair of dress shoes to get a polish since wearing them on the plane gets them dinged up. Picked them up today, they looked really nice. The soles were sturdy and I will bring them on my business trip next week to see how it goes. But I think this is a good spot for shoe repair and other items that need fixing. Brought many shoes (men and women) to this repair store for over 10 years. He did a decent job in the past, so I continued to give him business. But in the past couple of years, he increased his price a lot and his work were not as good as before. More importantly, he was moody and rude at times. During my last visit, he charged me $25 to re-glue the corner of the sole of one of my shoes. When I went to pick up the repaired shoe, I noticed that there was still a small gap at the corner, so I pointed it out to him. He was very defensive and said, "It looked fine to me, and you're just too picky." He refused to rectify the issue. That was the last straw...I will not return to this shoe repair store again. Originally brought in a pump as the heel was broken ( very evident nail was too short to hold heel to base) . $25 charge to repair, no problem. When I wore the pair, the heel broke once again in the same spot. When I returned for a re-do, he accused me of exaggerating how much I paid, showed my receipt. I rarely make reviews, but the experience I had with this shop required my feedback. First, I was outside the shop to pick up my boots in the rain before closing time and they didn't open the door. I came back with my green receipt ticket. I handed it to the technician, and he asked what did my shoes look like. I indicated I had boots and he looked around the store, found the boots and handed them to me with no bag or anything... no thank you for your business... he just went back behind the counter... it was a disconcerting customer service experience... I turned in my sandals to be repaired with new Velcro on them. I picked them up and decided to put them on and I asked the owner are these the same Velcro used prior? He says "That's it lady I did my job". That's it lady I did my job..(twice) I said excuse me I'm just asking a question and why are you being so rude to me after I spent my money with your company? BEWARE....BEWARE! This shop should be named "The WORST Shoe Repair"...not best by any stretch. RUDE AND SHODDY WORKMANSHIP. I just wrote a long review and it must not have saved. Where do I begin?? I brought in 5 pairs of shoes to be repaired and placed them on the counter. The owner -the Asian man behind the counter threw....I repeat...THREW each pair on the floor in a pile after he priced what I needed done. It bothered me but I pushed through and prepaid for the work because a shoe repair place is scarce in my area and I needed these shoes repaired. I left most of the order but needed my shoe boots polished while I waited. I literally saw him walk to the display in the waiting area and grab black spray to take it to the back to SPRAY paint my boots. When he presented them to me I could still see scuff marks and I asked him to use a creme polish and buff the scuff marks out. He said he was not a miracle worker and I was being too picky and looking too closely. I explained that I am paying for good quality and his prices were not cheap! He was rude and dismissive and started working on another order while saying "okay...okay.....I got your money...okay". Excuse me???? I tried to calmly explain that when you run a business that customer service is very important. He could care less. I ended up leaving...sat in my car in the parking lot...thought about the exchange and his blatant disrespect. I decided to go back in and I got my other shoes and asked for a refund. I refuse to patronize this business ever again!! Nasty attitude and by the way...the spray paint job on my boots started cracking in two days. He probably put that spray paint can that he took from the sales display back in the lobby for sale. That's the type of lack of integrity this man shows. read more

Needed to get the heels replaced on my business shoes as well as my wife's boots. They were ready in 30 minutes. Workmanship looks good, and I will update if something goes wrong. Otherwise it was very fast and appreciated. There was glue residue on the bottom of the shoe, under the arch where it won't wear off, and he just rubbed it with his finger and said "don't worry about it." It's not a small amount and I will need to apply goo gone or something to get it off. Just attention to detail. Don't expect overly friendly service, however. But you can expect speedy and acceptable service. read more

Best shoe repair is definitely not the best. I took a pair boots there to be repaired. My first issue was that you have to pay before you leave the item, and they are VERY expensive. $28/pair of shoes when it cost me $7/pair at my last shoe repair place. 2nd I showed up on the day they told me to come back and they had not even started repairing my shoes. It was a 30 min round trip that was a complete waste of my time and the owner didn't even apologize, just told me to come back later. When I did go back (3 days later when I could make the 30 min trip again) he handed me my shoes without a word. No "Im sorry", no "thank you, come again", no "we appreciate your business", nothing. I have never seen worse attitude, workmanship and service in one place! The guy who works here is a stiff Korean who behaves as if you are wasting his time if you walk in. I had left my shoes at the store for a couple of days to get a few scratches fixed. Very simple procedure - ask any person who maintains their shoes regularly. But this guy totally botched it! There were grease like stains on the sides of my shoes in multiple places. He most likely mounted the shoes on his machine in a flippant manner and this messed up the leather in several places. But he wouldn't admit it and when I called it out, he says in an insulting manner - 'I have been doing this for 30 years. Do you think I am dumb?? These marks are from your pants.....' In other words he was implying that these marks were on the shoes from before and therefore I was a liar! And of course everyone wears pants that have grease like residue dripping from the bottom! Moron..... Also, the shoes had finger marks all over. Every shoe repair place I know of shines the shoes before handing it to the customer. One of those 'small things that go a long way' concept. Not this clown! One shoe was even duller compared to the other. Long story short, FIND ANOTHER PLACE. Dropped off 3 pairs of high heels that needed new heel tips put on them. They were pretty messy and bad shape when I dropped them off. They were ready the next day and look great. Prices are pretty good considering the work and how quickly they are ready. I dropped off another pair today and they will be ready tomorrow :-) read more

I took some brown leather shoes in to be cleaned/polished. They guy working the counter was somewhat short, but nice enough...don't expect an amazing customer service experience or welcome for that matter. The shoes were polished well and done in a day... Only complaint is the shoe strings weren't taken out before polishing...so they hand random polish spots all over them. Overall, it was decent for the price and turnaround. read more

Do not waste your time going here. This is not the "Best" shoe repair. I took a tote bag in to have the strap fixed. He said $10 and to come back by noon the next day. I arrived the following day close to 3. Bag not fixed when I arrived. He ask if I can wait a few minutes. No problem I need to go the grocery store next door. As I leave I tell him not to rush on the strap because I can return tomorrow. He tells me not to worry. I return a few minutes later and the bag is completed. A complete mess. The stitching is uneven and not even with the other strap. I mention this to him and he laughs. Then he goes on to say that his machine zigzagged and messed up. When I asked for a refund for his horrible work he tells me he will make it up to me the next time. There will not be a next. Take your repairs elsewhere! read more

I had some boots repaired here. The actual repair was really good, and not too expensive considering he replaced the entire heal, however the service was terrible. I was told they would be ready 7 days later and when I can to pick them up on the 8th day, he couldn't find them. I waited for about 15 minutes while he looked, and finally found them still in the bag I dropped them off in, and definitely not repaired. I was told to come back again 3 days later. read more
