And she satisfied my curiosity about the processing of the scrap, by describing how it was handled here and, subsequently, at Padnos' operation in Grandville. I've used multiple waste disposal companies (including city owned) around the state and my kids have used multiple around the country. I'll take our guys any day. They are friendly, on time and always available. In the past 7 years they have skipped us once. I think it was the 8" of unexpected snow and the add-on icy conditions that caused that. We received an apology email later. They also have a state of the art recycling center that, if you get a chance, must be toured. It is amazing.
