This felt very much like a bait and switch. Beware for them to give you a low bid and raise the price when they arrive to do the work. Edit: After follow-up discussion with the company, I no longer believe this was a bait and switch, just poor communication from the woman in the office, the original estimator, and the people on-site who showed up to do the work. Each of the three areas that I was expecting to be done (attic, walls, crawlspace) had legitimate reasons for why they couldn't be done.

After finishing blowing in the insulation they cleaned up all around the exterior of the house leaving nothing. It pays to read contract fine print. Other quotes I received varied in pricing by double and wanted 50% upon signing then 40% day of installation leaving 10% at completion. Also changing the installation date was costly, some $500 just to change a date. WA Evergreen did not charge a fee to change a date, nothing down just pay when completed. While inspecting the rodent issue, they also discovered mold in our attic. Alex provided many photos to show us the issue clearly. Alex was very careful to explain the entire process at the start of it so that there were no surprises during the process. They ended up removing all the old, contaminated insulation, thoroughly sanitized the attic, replaced with new insulation and wire mesh around the entire perimeter where any openings might exist. They effectively excluded all rod ents or pests from the attic. Alex came back for a follow up inspection and verified the attic is now vacant. Quality Workmanship: Even our electrician, who went up after they finished to check to see if the rats had damaged any wiring, commented on how clean the attic was and what a great job they had done. Cleanliness: I was worried about dust and debris coming from the attic down into the living areas of the house, but they created a plastic barrier Between where they were working and the living areas that left our home spotless when they were done. They can charge up to 3% for credit cards. Nevertheless, the good folks are the office were very nice about reversing the double-charge. I am waiting to see when it comes through. Pro's - Basic work seemed to be done well and at a price that was competitive with others I contacted at least for the basic service. - Communication was prompt. - After some re-scheduling on their part, the team did the work swiftly and efficiently. - Most of the terms were clear in advance, using Yelp Projects. Con's - This is a fairly shiesty corner of the home maintenance world. Many providers seem to give you a low-ball estimate to get in the door and then upsell significantly. - Envirosmart is not an exception. - The initial quote was $200. This included scoping the ducts and doing the negative pressure clean-out. - Onsite, they then upsold me to $670 for a more thorough brushing of the vents, sanitation, and some other ancillary services. - They were only modestly well-organized. They called the day-of to reschedule because of a conflict with internal training. They also confirmed a different time than I had originally scheduled. It was the difference of a 9 to 11am original window and a 2:30-3pm arrival. - The Yelp Project communication could have been clearer. They did not specify whether they were calling to quote me or coming to do the service! Amid all this and with some clarification and flexibility on our part, we worked it out. I would have appreciated either a discount or additional service for the delay. None was proffered. I did not go ahead with the upsell as I had already gotten quotes for less from other providers with somewhat more transparent pricing. I think the work they did appeared fine. See attached pics. Your guess is as good as mine which are before and which are after! They did not specify when they sent them to me and email took off the timestamp. I'm hoping the cleaner ones. I probably will try another service when I do this again and with a higher rated provider. All in all, though, I had low expectations and those low expectations were met.

It's because my experience I had with Ryan in regards to eliminating an a ENORMOUS mouse invasion we had in our house here in Rancho Palos Verdes. It all started very innocently with a Mouse that appeared in the house. This was very unusual because we always had had cats and never was concerned about rodents. However all our cats had all just passed away from old age. So this was something quite new. Within days one mouse turned into a dozen and then we were simply overrun with mice. We kept buying traps from Amazon. We simply could not keep up. Some nights we would get as many as 40. The question was how are they getting in to the house? We were desperate we could not leave the house for more than a day or the mice would just simply take over, so we called several national pest control companies. They all came with traps and searched for an opening where the mice could be entering however they never were able to find it. After several weeks and desperate, we decide to try a local pest control company and call Ryan Little's Company. When Ryan showed up at the door,I told him the problem that we were having and he said he would start by searching around the perimeter of the house. When he came to the last side of the house by the kitchen he looked up at where the eaves were joining. "They're coming in there". I looked up and couldn't see anything. He said, you can tell by the little black marks on the eve??? He gave me the name and number of his handyman and said he can fill the hole and if we have any more problems, then we can go from there. So I called the Handyman. I showed him the spot and he asked if I had a ladder which I did.He checked out the spot and said "yes, there was a hole about the size of a quarter and do I have any kind of foam he could use".I had a can foam in the garage he could. He squirted a few squirts to cover the hole, When he got down from the ladder.I asked him how much do I owed you.He said he didn't want to charge me anything because he was here only a few minutes . I gave him $50 and he reluctantly accepted. So after Handyman left, I said to my wife, that was interesting, but hard to believe that the problem was solved, so we just waited for the mice. We waited and waited.......... We have never had a mouse IN THE HOUSE SINCE THEN ....8/20/2022!!!!!!!!!!!! I think of all the time and money I spent with other rodent companies not to mention the fear and anxiety when you have a mouse attack of this magnitude.
