I went up and checked before, during and post work and we are so pleased. We are now properly vented and have airflow, have all areas sealed, vent fans sealed correctly and enough insulation. It took only about an hour for the estimate, including the 1/2 hour the gentleman took to write it up and provide photos, work to be done and costs (in a color pamphlet!). He also reviewed what was found and what work should be done and why. We were really impressed. The actual work was scheduled week later and took 2 days (did not take an entire day each day). They were quick, clean, put up plastic barriers to protect the walls, house and floor. No leakage of any debris or old soiled insulation occurred. 10/10 would hire again. Note: they took care if the PSE rebates and were recommended by PSE.

The proposal itself already included a clause stating the work would be considered partial remediation with no warranty attached, so liability concerns had already been addressed in writing. Instead of adjusting the scope, the company withdrew the proposal and sent an email suggesting my request to remove those additional items were "demands." Based on my experience, be very clear about scope and expectations before requesting a proposal from this company. They will scope creep on you.

First, I…read morehad the estimator come out just a couple days after I called, he spent an hour or so going over my house & checking the insulation and then figured out the estimate. I was shocked, with the PSE rebate, which NW Insulation takes care of, the estimate was thousands less than I thought it would be! I signed up, and a day or so later I got a call to schedule the install, again, surprisingly, they could do it right away and I scheduled for about a week out. The installers got to my house about 8am and were very polite and professional. They basically worked all day, got the job done, and were on their way. They left everything clean and it is amazing to me how the house looked when they were done. They blew in the insulation from the exterior and the method that they used left no trace, they removed a course of siding, drilled holes, filled the walls, plugged the holes, and replaced the siding. You can't even tell that they were there. I have only had a few hot days to determine if there has been an improvement and honestly it really does seem to stay cooler inside, looking forward to winter for the real test. All in all, this has been a great experience, I very highly recommend NW Insulation for your project.

While inspecting the rodent issue, they also discovered mold in our attic. Alex provided many photos to show us the issue clearly. Alex was very careful to explain the entire process at the start of it so that there were no surprises during the process. They ended up removing all the old, contaminated insulation, thoroughly sanitized the attic, replaced with new insulation and wire mesh around the entire perimeter where any openings might exist. They effectively excluded all rod ents or pests from the attic. Alex came back for a follow up inspection and verified the attic is now vacant. Quality Workmanship: Even our electrician, who went up after they finished to check to see if the rats had damaged any wiring, commented on how clean the attic was and what a great job they had done. Cleanliness: I was worried about dust and debris coming from the attic down into the living areas of the house, but they created a plastic barrier Between where they were working and the living areas that left our home spotless when they were done. The crew was courteous and focused throughout the entire process. The price was very reasonable and fair. If you need attic services or pest remediation, my wife and I highly recommend them!

WARNING: "R-49" promised -- measured ~8-14.5" -- dispute escalated to lien + court…read more I hired Attic Crawl Inc. for attic work including R-49 blown-in insulation (stated in writing). I trusted their proposal -- and I regret it. After the job (9/27/2025), I measured insulation depth in multiple locations and found ~8 to 14.5 inches in many areas, uneven coverage, and no depth markers. I shared photos/measurements and asked them to bring the attic up to the promised R-49. Instead, they said the attic was larger than estimated and would only add insulation if I paid ~$1,472 + tax. I obtained a third-party correction bid for $2,917.20 to air-seal and bring the attic to R-49 with depth markers, indicating additional work is needed. Because they would not correct the insulation without extra payment, I withheld final payment while trying to resolve the issue in writing. After that, the situation escalated into a small-claims filing and a mechanic's lien (which I dispute). Regardless of how anyone views the dispute, the result was this: a homeowner raised a documented workmanship concern, asked for correction to what was promised, and ended up dealing with court + a lien. Bottom line: I do not consider this a reliable company and would not hire them again. If you're considering Attic Crawl, protect yourself.

In related news, I later found out that asking adding a surcharge for debit transactions is actually illegal per U.S. Federal law. Good to know. They can charge up to 3% for credit cards. Nevertheless, the good folks are the office were very nice about reversing the double-charge. I am waiting to see when it comes through. Pro's - Basic work seemed to be done well and at a price that was competitive with others I contacted at least for the basic service. - Communication was prompt. - After some re-scheduling on their part, the team did the work swiftly and efficiently. - Most of the terms were clear in advance, using Yelp Projects. Con's - This is a fairly shiesty corner of the home maintenance world. Many providers seem to give you a low-ball estimate to get in the door and then upsell significantly. - Envirosmart is not an exception. - The initial quote was $200. This included scoping the ducts and doing the negative pressure clean-out. - Onsite, they then upsold me to $670 for a more thorough brushing of the vents, sanitation, and some other ancillary services. - They were only modestly well-organized. They called the day-of to reschedule because of a conflict with internal training. They also confirmed a different time than I had originally scheduled. It was the difference of a 9 to 11am original window and a 2:30-3pm arrival. - The Yelp Project communication could have been clearer. They did not specify whether they were calling to quote me or coming to do the service! Amid all this and with some clarification and flexibility on our part, we worked it out. I would have appreciated either a discount or additional service for the delay. None was proffered. I did not go ahead with the upsell as I had already gotten quotes for less from other providers with somewhat more transparent pricing. I think the work they did appeared fine. See attached pics. Your guess is as good as mine which are before and which are after! They did not specify when they sent them to me and email took off the timestamp. I'm hoping the cleaner ones. I probably will try another service when I do this again and with a higher rated provider. All in all, though, I had low expectations and those low expectations were met.

Ryan Little is the best. Best as defined in the dictionary; the highest possible state of…read moreexcellence, the best quality or property of a person or thing. Now, why am I saying this. It's because my experience I had with Ryan in regards to eliminating an a ENORMOUS mouse invasion we had in our house here in Rancho Palos Verdes. It all started very innocently with a Mouse that appeared in the house. This was very unusual because we always had had cats and never was concerned about rodents. However all our cats had all just passed away from old age. So this was something quite new. Within days one mouse turned into a dozen and then we were simply overrun with mice. We kept buying traps from Amazon. We simply could not keep up. Some nights we would get as many as 40. The question was how are they getting in to the house? We were desperate we could not leave the house for more than a day or the mice would just simply take over, so we called several national pest control companies. They all came with traps and searched for an opening where the mice could be entering however they never were able to find it. After several weeks and desperate, we decide to try a local pest control company and call Ryan Little's Company. When Ryan showed up at the door,I told him the problem that we were having and he said he would start by searching around the perimeter of the house. When he came to the last side of the house by the kitchen he looked up at where the eaves were joining. "They're coming in there". I looked up and couldn't see anything. He said, you can tell by the little black marks on the eve??? He gave me the name and number of his handyman and said he can fill the hole and if we have any more problems, then we can go from there. So I called the Handyman. I showed him the spot and he asked if I had a ladder which I did.He checked out the spot and said "yes, there was a hole about the size of a quarter and do I have any kind of foam he could use".I had a can foam in the garage he could. He squirted a few squirts to cover the hole, When he got down from the ladder.I asked him how much do I owed you.He said he didn't want to charge me anything because he was here only a few minutes . I gave him $50 and he reluctantly accepted. So after Handyman left, I said to my wife, that was interesting, but hard to believe that the problem was solved, so we just waited for the mice. We waited and waited.......... We have never had a mouse IN THE HOUSE SINCE THEN ....8/20/2022!!!!!!!!!!!! I think of all the time and money I spent with other rodent companies not to mention the fear and anxiety when you have a mouse attack of this magnitude. All I had to do was call Ryan little's Company.Thank you Ryan.
