breakfast plate 2 Make Your Own Burrito
    Nisha B.

Stayed on a Saturday night. Checked in around 7pm and the front staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast on sunday was from 630a to 10a. Good. They even had a make your own burrito stand. you MUST have a breakfast ticket to enter the dining hall and food cannot be taken out. Hot and cold foods, cereals, fruit, juices/coffee, breads etc. Breakfast is free, but just make sure you get enough tickets for the people in your room when you check in. Self controlled heat and a/c. My unit made a low whizzing sound when the heat kicked on, but it was rather soothing during the night. Black out curtains. The TV ranges from local analog channels to cable, all of which were mainly fuzzy. The bathroom door physically locks, so if you lock it make sure you unlock it after you leave.. my niece learned the hard way lol. Parking is free. My 2 queen bedroom was clean and i didn't have any issues! Great shower pressure, altho my bathroom sink took a long time to drain (I left the water running while brushing my teeth) There is an outdoor seasonal pool, a banquet hall and even a saturday night club inside of the hotel. It's $10 to enter the club if you are a guest here. I stayed on the 3rd floor and could hear the "Beat" of the club only a little. In the hotel area is a 711, McDonalds, Red Lobster, Chipotle and other restaurants and shops that i would recommend driving too. (It's along a busy off road highway) Check in is 3pm, check out is 12p. Late check out is at 1p. The hotel even has a shuttle to the New Carrolton Metro / Marc trains/ Bus stop, which both are about a 10 min drive from the hotel. 4 stars due to not being able to bring breakfast back to room, locked bathroom door, fuzzy tv and club music. All in all, I would recommend staying here!

All in all a good experience, staff is friendly, free breakfast was good, room is clean. Hallways to the rooms are a little dingy and need new carpet but other than that the place was in good shape and worth the hundred dollars for the room!

I would never ever stay at this hotel again it was horrible nasty and Unclean. The staff found sleeping twice. I had to make up my own bed, no room service for three days. I try to reach out to the general managers several times no response back finally had to reach out to headquarters.

    They are rubbery

I arrived late and they lobby was full/crowded no order to line, all to learn it was people attending the club part of the hotel. The Front Desk clerk had to ask people to move just so I could finish my transaction. She was very nice and after we got to the room. Hmmmm where do I start 1) flooring was coming up 2) no comforters or duvet for the beds 3) NO hot water 4) NO heat (temperature outside was 54 degrees) 5) beds were not comfortable 6) bath tub & sink hold water (had wait awhile for drain) After one night stay it was easy decision to cancel my stay and check out. As I went to check out the young lady says if you do I'm going to disarm your key so get your stuff hen come back. This was at 8:59am and check out wasn't until 11:00am. So I went to try the free breakfast...nothing was good. Boiled egg was rubbery, pancakes were gummy, eggs were cold, bacon was microwave so they had no taste...just left but the ladies there were nice. As I await to check out, front desk clerk stated you not supposed to leave until tomorrow. My response was I'm not happy, she asked why? I shared water wasn't hot, room cold and safety and she replied "did you tell anyone", "no one else complained", did you check to see if another room was available"...all I could do was just stare in Awh because not once did she apologize for my experience or displayed professionalism. The manager just kept walking by and not once did she acknowledge me or other guest. He lobby was extremely cold and no one offer apology for the inconvenience. Signs displayed about front entrance under construction yet that was nothing of comparison of the room quality, customer services and rate. I've requested a refund because I checked out in ample time. To have a club adjacent to hotel their should be some division so guest don't experience the loitering, cigarette smokers, and discomfort. As a guest I should not have to walk thru a crowd of folks who are rude, flirtatious or under the influence. As a first time guest first impression was not good and I will NOT be returning. All I like is a refund for 1 of 2 night stay that did use. I checked in 10:30pm and checked out 9:30am.

Example of the visitors who introduced themselves to us during the wee hours.

Probably the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel! The hotel is dated and dilapidated. It clearly needs an update. The 2 staff working the desk were overwhelmed and it took an inordinate amount of time to check us in and others out. The tub shower becomes a mini swimming pool when you turn the water on as the drains seem to empty at a trickle. Despite these issues, we soldiered on. The real fun was the party of bugs that came out in the wee hours to bite us up. Changing rooms at 3 in the morning left us exhausted, frustrated, and determined to never stay there again! AAA should be ashamed of itself for giving it a "Diamond Rating".

Double bed, this is the one with the disgusting mattress.

First of all the building looks rundown. I knew it was next to the highway, so idc about that. The main lobby looks great, however the rest of the hotel is a major let down. To begin my awful stay I get there and the lady behind the desk was already complaining about how she wanted to go home..like can you just not? It's one thing to do small talk but truly idc. They put me in an even numbered room on the second floor, all was fine really, I wasn't impressed but you get what you pay for. Took my kids to dinner and came back to what is apparently a lounge/nightclub & my room was semi-directly above it. After driving for 12 hours from ND,IN...you can imagine that I was not particularly thrilled. I was actually angry. So let my kids go swimming for a bit, while I was preparing to leave a for a new hotel in case they weren't willing to move me. Get back and idk if it was from extreme exhaustion but the music was actually louder. Called down, complained and I was told to call back in 5 minutes. Did so, and they said yeah bring your stuff, we will move you. I told them I wasn't trying to be that "person". The lady said yeah it will actually be worse tomorrow. Customer service is top notch. *eye roll*. The next day we hit breakfast which starts at 630am, which isn't really optimal for people who need to leave early. It reminds me of nursing home food being honest. Ate it but whatever. Came back about 5pm to people lining up for the lounge, *yay*. Shockingly the lady was right, it was worse that night. The people in room 200 kept me up until 230am, & no I didn't bother calling down, because I got the vibe they didn't really care regardless. Why waste my time. I mean this was the worst hotel stay I've ever been in. My recommendation is to check the mattress, they covered up dirty disgusting stains on the mattress with a folded fitted sheet, like dude, it doesn't make it go away lol. Rooms just need to be remodeled. Run down. Corners in closets were gross. Idc about the lounge/club they have, but it interfered with both of my nights and it's something that should be mentioned when booking a room. If you have kids and need sleep, don't stay here. Pay the extra money for something else. I cheaped out and wish I wouldn't have. I could go on for days man, I'm sooooo disappointed. Don't let the reviews on booking fool you.

From the moment we arrived, her demeanor was cold, hostile, and incredibly unwelcoming. She repeatedly gave my family unfriendly, glaring looks that made us uncomfortable, to the point that we just wanted to leave the hotel. Her attitude only worsened the situation. She was consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in every interaction. To make matters worse, we were overcharged by her, and it did not feel like an honest mistake. The only reason it was corrected is because I caught it and confronted her directly. Had I not said anything, I strongly believe the issue would have gone unresolved. Because of Joyce's behavior, what should have been a comfortable stay turned into a tense and unpleasant experience for my entire family. Guests should feel welcomed, respected, and valued, especially by front desk staff, who represent the first impression of the business. Unfortunately, Joyce's manner was the exact opposite. We felt dismissed, disrespected, and completely unwelcome throughout our stay. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel. If you're looking for a more professional and welcoming environment, I strongly suggest considering nearby options like DoubleTree by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, or WoodSpring Suites instead. Management should take feedback seriously and address it immediately, as this level of treatment is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on this establishment.

The hotel is older and claimed to have renovated their rooms, so we were convinced this would be a good spot. Let's start with the pros: There is a bunch of parking our front. The staff was friendly. The restaurant in lobby was good, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Shoutout to the bartender David for his excellent service & kindness. The hotel is located across the street from Woodmore Towncenter, so you have gas stations, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Some room for improvement: The room we were initially given was absolutely horrendous. It looked nothing like the photos we saw when we booked the room. There were lady bugs, stink bugs, and I saw a spider in the room. The furniture was archaic & not what I expected. The TV was hanging off of the frame. I felt myself looking around the room fearful that a bug was going to suspend from the ceiling, fall on me and start crawling. After one night, my husband requested a new room, and thank goodness they gave us a freshly renovated room. The room was still a little dated, but it just felt clean and comfortable. I was able to enjoy my stay after the switch. For context, I posted photos of the new room they gave us. The elevator is extremely slow, so I hope they are working on fixing that. If we didnt have the mishap with the first room, (for the price) I would give our stay a 4/5.

I sat in the room thinking it would be a minor fix and there was some back up generators or a something but after an hour I called the front desk. The woman who answered told me that the entire hotel power was out. I sat in my room without power for 4 hours before approaching the front desk for other options. I expressed that my room is dark and that I cannot continue my stay in this condition. I asked if I switched hotels would I be reimbursed for my stay and was told "I don't know" which is an answer I hate as a customer because why not find out the answer? The same older woman who said the power was out in the entire hotel is the same one who didn't know if I would be refunded. The man at the desk offered to switched my room to one with power and I would have been changed rooms had I been informed that information initially. Once I got into the new room I was doing fine until around 1am I noticed there wasn't any air conditioning. I went to the front desk and asked if there was a fan available and was told there wasn't. I complained about the temperature of my room and then was told by another male employee that if I left I would be fully refunded. Had I of known that in the beginning I would have been left but being told so many different answers confused me and caused a lot of frustration. Being it was the middle of the night and I was so tired I opted to continue my stay and opened my bedroom window. Power wasn't back on until 10am the following morning. I understand that things happen but this could have went a lot better had there been some kind of protocol in place with some formal correspondence to your guests to avoid the amount of confusion and discomfort I experienced during my stay. No compensation was issued whatsoever. In the hospitality industry customer service is a top priority for both the business and customer. I don't believe in continuing to do business with companies that do not practice adequate customer care therefore I will continue to take my business elsewhere. I even came in town last week and the week before that. Plenty of other hotels that value their customers and are prepared for these circumstances. I truly do hope that my concerns are addressed properly, better protocols are in place, and better clear communication during these events to avoid what I went through during my stay.

There was a little market right next to the check in area but it seemed a little neglected. There were things listed on the menu that weren't actually stocked. Check in was super easy. I was at the desk a total of 5 minutes before I was up in my room. The only downside of the check in was that the receptionist said my room floor out loud. I understand his reasoning (I was put on the 4th floor because I had a spa treatment to check into right after checking in, and it's on the 4th floor), but it feels like a privacy concern. Especially since I was a woman staying here by myself. I just prefer if I'm given the room key with the key sleeve, as the room number is usually written on it. The spa was incredible. It was clean and luxurious! I had a body scrub service with Gabby who was phenomenal, so nice and really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The room itself has very fancy amenities (dimming capabilities of 99% of the lights, automated shades). But there were some things that I thought could've been much better. There's no privacy cap on the peep hole. The chair at my desk was so squeaky. The bathroom vents were very dusty. The toilet paper was so thin and harsh. The shower head angle couldn't be adjusted. It seemed like the ceiling has had some issues and the patching seemed like a landlord's special. There was some earwax on the phone receiver. The WiFi was TERRIBLE. If you plan to use your laptop for an extended amount of time, plan to bring a hot spot. They say they have complimentary premium WiFi. I did a speed test: it said very slow. But the bed was nice and big, the shower was nice despite the shower head issue. A robe was provided in the closet. I had two complimentary bottles of water which I appreciated.
