The dirty carpet in the hotel room!!

Many off the rooms are dirty!! The elder lady at check in can be a bit rude. Overall was not happy with the stay!

Hair on toilet when checked in

Fist let me say they have a very nice lady at front desk. But other than that I WILL ACOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAQUE. Seedy area, I guy that is why they charge 100 dollars in addition to room charge for security deposit. Smells like weed throughout. Next to train station that train goes by ever 20 minutes. He led in room and had hair on toilet. Got another room and found used washcloths hanging on shower rod. Lanham, MD is nice but this place is trash. Oh...and also the lights in bathroom are on a three minute timer.

My two kids and I stayed here for 2 nights. It is a very convenient location to restaurants and the Prince George Mall. Our rooms seem to have recent renovations, which one thought were nice. Comfortable space, but somewhat small. We didn't spend much time in our room for the two days. There is a microwave and refrigerator. I did see a miniature fitness room. There aren't many amenities here. Free parking is available and there is a washer and dryer. Don't expect to get in a pool, hot tub, or to have free breakfast. I would stay here again it wasn't great, but it wasn't poor either. Also, do not let the lobby fool you. Upon entering the lobby it looked outdated and gloomy. The lobby could definitely use a lift to match the renovated rooms.

Checked in around 7pm, the front desk was surrounded by bullet proof glass, front desk clerk was nice. However she needs to be trained on privacy. While checking in I had a complete stranger come and stand directly next to me, in my personal space. She did not direct them to stand behind me for my personal space and privacy. She proceeded to have my personal information (DL and CC) within eye shot of 2 male individuals. She photocopied my DL which I was uncomfortable with, with no explanation for that process. She proceeded to show and say my room number out aloud for them to hear. At that time I was alone. Upon exiting the elevator on my floor i was hit with the smell of cigarettes. The room smelled like they tried to cover up the smell of smoke with air fresheners. The room was totally unacceptable. There was black mold in the bathroom, the fridge did not close and was not cold, plaster on majority of the ceiling and on wall as if they had a leak and were still working on it. The microwave was dirty, the blinds and bathroom also were dirty. I went right back downstairs and requested a refund and went somewhere else. I should have known better and I usually do not stay at days inn. However it was a last minute situation. I will never be back and I will never recommend!

Check in was fine. the room was cool. It was the bathroom that was a NO for me the bottom of the tub had 2 hairs in it. May not seem like much but during this Carona Virus you would think they would clean more carefully. The shower head was dirty and the rods were rusty. I tried calling the front desk for extra towels ti place at the bottom of the tub ( after we sanitized the entire room )the guy who answered the phone told me thatvthere weren't any extra towel. I had to send my boyfriend down to get them. He even gave him a hard time about them but eventually handed them over. And as for my $50 deposit , I apparently won't be getting that back. Dont waste your time here. I see why they are becoming homeless shelters.

    Mold on shower head

Dirty unsafe property with bad customer service .even when you being this to their attention they brush you off . The entire floor reeked of cigarette and marijuana smoke .

    Dirty broken fold up bed

From the moment we arrived, her demeanor was cold, hostile, and incredibly unwelcoming. She repeatedly gave my family unfriendly, glaring looks that made us uncomfortable, to the point that we just wanted to leave the hotel. Her attitude only worsened the situation. She was consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional in every interaction. To make matters worse, we were overcharged by her, and it did not feel like an honest mistake. The only reason it was corrected is because I caught it and confronted her directly. Had I not said anything, I strongly believe the issue would have gone unresolved. Because of Joyce's behavior, what should have been a comfortable stay turned into a tense and unpleasant experience for my entire family. Guests should feel welcomed, respected, and valued, especially by front desk staff, who represent the first impression of the business. Unfortunately, Joyce's manner was the exact opposite. We felt dismissed, disrespected, and completely unwelcome throughout our stay. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel. If you're looking for a more professional and welcoming environment, I strongly suggest considering nearby options like DoubleTree by Hilton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, or WoodSpring Suites instead. Management should take feedback seriously and address it immediately, as this level of treatment is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on this establishment.

The hotel is older and claimed to have renovated their rooms, so we were convinced this would be a good spot. Let's start with the pros: There is a bunch of parking our front. The staff was friendly. The restaurant in lobby was good, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Shoutout to the bartender David for his excellent service & kindness. The hotel is located across the street from Woodmore Towncenter, so you have gas stations, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Some room for improvement: The room we were initially given was absolutely horrendous. It looked nothing like the photos we saw when we booked the room. There were lady bugs, stink bugs, and I saw a spider in the room. The furniture was archaic & not what I expected. The TV was hanging off of the frame. I felt myself looking around the room fearful that a bug was going to suspend from the ceiling, fall on me and start crawling. After one night, my husband requested a new room, and thank goodness they gave us a freshly renovated room. The room was still a little dated, but it just felt clean and comfortable. I was able to enjoy my stay after the switch. For context, I posted photos of the new room they gave us. The elevator is extremely slow, so I hope they are working on fixing that. If we didnt have the mishap with the first room, (for the price) I would give our stay a 4/5.

There was a little market right next to the check in area but it seemed a little neglected. There were things listed on the menu that weren't actually stocked. Check in was super easy. I was at the desk a total of 5 minutes before I was up in my room. The only downside of the check in was that the receptionist said my room floor out loud. I understand his reasoning (I was put on the 4th floor because I had a spa treatment to check into right after checking in, and it's on the 4th floor), but it feels like a privacy concern. Especially since I was a woman staying here by myself. I just prefer if I'm given the room key with the key sleeve, as the room number is usually written on it. The spa was incredible. It was clean and luxurious! I had a body scrub service with Gabby who was phenomenal, so nice and really made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The room itself has very fancy amenities (dimming capabilities of 99% of the lights, automated shades). But there were some things that I thought could've been much better. There's no privacy cap on the peep hole. The chair at my desk was so squeaky. The bathroom vents were very dusty. The toilet paper was so thin and harsh. The shower head angle couldn't be adjusted. It seemed like the ceiling has had some issues and the patching seemed like a landlord's special. There was some earwax on the phone receiver. The WiFi was TERRIBLE. If you plan to use your laptop for an extended amount of time, plan to bring a hot spot. They say they have complimentary premium WiFi. I did a speed test: it said very slow. But the bed was nice and big, the shower was nice despite the shower head issue. A robe was provided in the closet. I had two complimentary bottles of water which I appreciated. All in all, I would return because I do feel the pros outweighed the cons. I'd just be sure to bring my own internet.

I usually book way in advance to reserve a room without penalty and there is no charge until check in. However, I was already charged before checking in. There was a little push back from the manager on duty, but I believe the issue was resolved before we checked out after a two night stay. Always check your card before checking in, during your stay and after you check out... basically before you leave the hotel. Plenty of parking, never been an issue. Again, we stay here for the football games and usually secure parking with a parking pass. However, there is always another option at a fee that will provide round trip transportation. If you want to get your steps in, it's about a 30 minute walk. Also during our stay, the staff was scarce during dinner and breakfast hours. However, pack your patience, they will get you served as fast as they can. The food was good and filling. The adult beverages were limited, but something should be available to your liking.
