So had to come to Hermiston for and emergency medical issue with a family member and drove over 4 hours to get here, we called when we got into town at 1:30 Saturday morning and asked for a room for my wife and myself and 3 children. We were told yes we have one for the night, being Saturday morning you would think no worries check out will be Sunday, well guess not and there is nothing that can be done and you and your 3 kids can be out by 11 that same day, Thanks Hannah. Oh and coincidentally there is no manager on the weekends so not sure how any problems will be addressed if they arise. But hey thanks for paying all that money for not even half a day. Not much I can do with 3 sleeping kids and no one that can do anything since there isn't a manager available. What a great hotel! Also just found out this morning that Hannah lied about the price and it is not what she had said . Tried to talk to the new person at the front desk and got told oh well you can talk to the manager who will be in at 3 pm, really Hannah I thought there was no manager on the weekends? Not a lot of options here in Hermiston...I opted for Best Western based on the reviews and honestly Holiday Inn Express had way too much street construction going on. Jose checked me in and was cordial and friendly. My room was clean, the bathrooms are tiny however...can pretty much pee and shower at the same time lol! I'm giving three stars for the paper thin walls (heard people in the room next door having sex at 3 am) and lots of walking around from the room above...shouting and slamming of doors early in the morning. I realize this isn't a destination hotel, more a traveling through hotel, but c'mon...common courtesy please. read more

Floor turned our feet black, headboard falls off randomly, smelled of cat pee in the hallway, was told to come online for a refund and OYO app only gives me option to click on options and not talk to a representative. Unless you book a "premium" room there is no coffee or anything of the sort. Had to track room service down for towels. Ac leaked through the wall onto floor and left a very large puddle under the bed so when me and my family woke up our luggage was soaked and soggy... -10/10 DO NOT STAY HERE!! read more

I was impressed overall with this hotel. A decent indoor pool, large for a hotel. What you would expect in a room as a business traveler. The breakfast was not gourmet but it was more substantial than cereal and yogurt. For a business traveler not a bad option in Hermiston. read more

I can not thank Cash and staff for the professional courtesy. I am grateful for the good graces. They helped out on my business trip for Walmart and must give credit because credit is do. Check in lady was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable! They were offering free breakfast from Denny's, which is right next door. I'm assuming it's because of COVID19 and not having their usual breakfast set up. Not too far from I84 either. I'd definitely stay here again! read more

The staff are friendly and helpful. My room and bathroom were clean, non-smoking, and had a fresh scent. Free breakfast had a nice variety of options. The lobby was clean and seemed recently renovated. 3 minutes away from Safeway and about 7 minute drive to various restaurants in town. read more

Having spent three nights here over the course of three trips to Hermiston/ Umatilla for business, I can say that this Best Western is a solid choice. Clean rooms and a very decent breakfast selection complimentary with the price of the stay. The first room we had happened to be a ADA accessible room, not that we needed it, but it actually had a very nice sized bathroom that we liked better than the next visit that had us in a regular room. The one time we arrived late at about midnight we were pleased and relieved to find help at the desk was spot on and check in was all of about 2 minutes. Very nice to get in and to bed without any hassle. If you're looking for clean, decent rooms this is a great pick. read more

Stayed at this hotel a few nights. It is somewhat out of town so you will need to drive to go out to eat. There is a Denny's next door. Hotel has been updated recently but be prepared to haul your bags up stairs because there is no elevator. Room was pretty clean but shower/tub was not clean. Free breakfast was pretty basic but there were eggs, beacon, toast. I would stay elsewhere next time. read more

Nice clean rooms with a fridge an microwave. They even give you s couple of free drinks at the bar next door. I missed the free breakfast but they gave me a snack bag to go on checkout. They also helped with the computer an printer which were painfully slow. read more

Waste of time and money!! We went to book a room tonight at 12 AM and couldn't believe it was an extra 15 minute drive off the freeway. When we finally got there, no workers were to be seen. There was just a sign up that said "be back in ten minutes." After waiting 10 minutes and shouting "Hello??" we waited in our car where a loud group of men pulled next to us with rap music swearing and smoking. I felt nervous to leave my wife alone out in the car for her safety. After checking back in and there was STILL nobody there, we decided to just head back to the freeway and make the trek to Pendleton even though we were exhausted. I've traveled from coast to coast and I have to say the employees at this location were very helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and it was a good price for a weekend stay. Clean and super friendly. I enjoyed 4 nights with a broken lock on my door. The staff was aware of my problem. Instead of putting me in another room, I stayed in the room with a "do not disturb" sign on the door handle. On the other hand, I didn't get a chance to eat the breakfast because I has to be at work before 6am but they did pack me a breakfast and had it ready for me at 430 am every morning. Another wonderful Best Western stay! Comfortable beds, hotel and rooms nicely decorated. Pool was perfect temperature for a morning swim. Keurig Coffee pot in the room which makes perfect sense for hotels but the first time I've seen it. Don't expect breakfast but at the Denny's next door you get a 15% discount if you are staying at the BW. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay. I forgot my swimsuit in the bathroom and discovered it when I arrived home and unpacked. I called them, they were very helpful, called me back the next day to say they found it and would send it the next day and if it was under $5.00 there would be no charge but asked permission to charge to our credit card for anything over that; I agreed. 2 weeks later I am receiving the package. It was in a reused envelope with postage of $4.34 and our credit card was charged three times that. While yes it was my fault forgetting it, they did go to the trouble to find and send it, I still feel it is a little less than honest. So I am editing my initial review from 5 to 4 stars and sharing my disappointment. read more

It's a Best Western, what more can I say?.... Besides the fact that this place smells of what is probably mold, the so called free breakfast is not fit for human consumption, and the carpet is dirty. Also, it is right off the highway so it is loud, only to be made worse by truckers pulling in and out at all hours of the night / morning (nothing like having a big rig running right outside your window at 4am!), and the drunks / lowlifes that this establishment allows to congregate right outside the main entrance and gab at all hours, very annoying. Do yourself a favor, stay at a better quality hotel, or sleep in your car. read more
