Stayed at the presidential suite on the 4th floor, spacious accommodations. Not sure if the perk for the room or Covid, but the minibar was complementary and endlessly replenished the entire week. Breakfast on the room top standard continental fare and dishes made to order, great view. Pool is just for soaking, about a meter deep, not for swimming, also quite small. But again, people don't come to Cannes for the pool. Beach clubs are very close by and concierge will reserve prime spots for you. The Roof bar is rocking all night, if you are silent, despite the sound dampening you can detect the subwoofers vibration in your suite, so light sleepers beware, or go upstairs and join the party. Probably the nicest hotel to the convention center, so definitely a hidden gem if attending the CFF. Looking forward to returning soon, 10/10.

Most are what I would call minimally decorated and outfitted. The lighting is very dark in the rooms, which is frustrating when trying to get ready. The location is just two blocks from the beach in a quiet area of town. The staff is nice but simple things like mention that our safe didn't work and the keys constantly demagnetizing we received the response of yah that's pretty normal. So while they did attend to them known issues here don't seem to be a concern. The pool was nice to have but its not scenic and was currently walled by plywood boards which looks horrible. The pool bar service was either not there or staffed with someone who was untrained. It was affordable and adequate.

The front lobby area was also where a new bar area was located, and the front desk staff kindly poured us a glass of wine on request. With no true ambiance in the front lobby area, it's really up to you to create your own good experience here -- we asked them if there was some light music they could play while we enjoyed our wine, and they obliged, but it was a stretch to hear anything and it really just felt like we were drinking wine in a boring and stale budget hotel lobby, which is exactly what we were doing! Our room on the 4th floor was considered a Junior Suite. It was quite small and the bathroom was not laid out well at all. In fact, there was a door stop near the toilet to prevent the door from crashing into the toilet itself, and on our first day I bashed my toe into it. The door stop was attached to the floor, not attached to the door, so it was really easy to cause an injury. Here I am 8 days after I bashed my toe, and I've still got toe pain. Another interesting note is that the hotel was no where near full yet our room assignment was right next to another guest. February is the slow time in France, and we never ever saw another guest at this hotel. However, we found it odd that the room they assigned to us was smack dab next to the only other guest we think was staying in this hotel, and we could hear everything from our next door neighbor through the connecting door. With a hotel so empty, I find it annoying that they placed us right next to another guest. Had we been staying longer than just two nights, I would have requested they move us. WiFi was easily accessible at the Clarion, and the signal was strong and good. Both our room and the hotel itself felt clean and safe, so if that's all that matters to you, you can check the box YES in that regard. For me, I prefer some character when I travel, and this hotel could have been any hotel in any city due to its "vanilla" flavor. Overall, this stay was fine for what it was, but next time around in Cannes we'll splurge a bit and stay across from the water.

The idea really is spectacular and attract many guests attending the Cannes film festival by completing their experience. If you are lucky enough to get a room with one of the balconies, the views are spectacular at sunset. At the top of the hotel there is a small pool and sun lounge area which is a perfect hot spot since it has the sun all day. The beach is a 2 minuet walk through a small park and so are the eating venues. It really is in the perfect area that adds it up to be a great hotel.

Everyone was polite, friendly, and accommodating, and gave us free champagnes on the rooftop lounge while waiting for our room, and when we got to our rooms, it was fresh and clean. Room service was so fast, readied in 20 minutes, where we ordered truffle cod, risotto, pizza and fries. They also gave us a large basket of bread, as it is a must in France, and every condiment possible. I could have been full with just the bread basket and all the butter. Everything was fresh and delicious. Reception was fast to check us in and out, the concierge was helpful in recommending and booking a lunch at the Tahiti, after learning that we like somewhere calm and good for swimming. The hotel shuttle took us to the beach, free of charge, and on return, we didn't have our phone, so the Tahiti restaurant happily called the hotel shuttle for us, the shuttle driver also walked all the way inside the restaurent to look for us. Everything was perfect! The drivers are so well dressed and nice. It was just the 2 of us in the shuttle, felt like a private luxury experience. Also, you don't want to drive in Saint Tropez. It's a nightware and parking is impossible. I loved the hotel beach bag, and ask the receptionist for it. It was price at €20, and she just gave it to me for free. That was so nice of her.

The staff handled it very smoothly, and professional acknowledgment, which I appreciated. The suite itself was spacious, clean, and well laid out, with a separate living area and a terrace that had a partial sea view. Not over-the-top flashy, but very comfortable and exactly what you'd want on the Riviera. Location is honestly one of the biggest highlights. You're right on the Croisette, steps from the beach, restaurants, and boutiques. It made it easy to just walk everywhere and really enjoy Cannes without overplanning anything. Service throughout the stay was consistently good. Housekeeping was attentive without being intrusive, and the front desk team was helpful whenever I had questions. The rooftop pool area is also worth mentioning great spot to relax, especially later in the afternoon when it's less crowded. All in all, the upgrade definitely made the stay more memorable, and I'd come back especially if traveling as a Bonvoy platinum member where those perks can really elevate the experience.

The lobby and shared spaces are nice, clean, and well maintained, but the hotel as a whole didn't really give us an elevated or luxurious experience. The rooms are on the smaller side, which isn't unusual in Europe, but they did make good use of the space. There was a large closet with plenty of storage, and the bathroom had cabinets and shelving that made it easy to keep everything organized. The bathroom itself felt pretty dated. The shower only had a half-glass partition, and unfortunately there was visible mold in some of the grout, which was disappointing. You can definitely tell it's an older building. The walls are very thin, and we could hear neighboring doors opening and closing as well as footsteps throughout our stay. The bed was reasonably comfortable, although the pillows were a little odd--they were large and square rather than the standard rectangular pillows we're used to. On the plus side, the AC worked very well. Service and location was easily one of the strongest parts of the hotel. Everyone we interacted with was excellent, friendly, and helpful. You were conveniently located to the beach and all of the stores/restaurants. The most unusual part of the stay was the room key system. Instead of a key card, you're given an actual physical key, and you're expected to leave it with the front desk every time you leave the hotel and ask for it again when you return. It wasn't necessarily a major inconvenience, but it definitely felt dated and was something we weren't expecting. Overall, the hotel was clean and functional with excellent service and good storage, but the dated bathroom, visible mold, thin walls, and older room features kept it from feeling like the 4-star experience we had anticipated.
