Melva and her staff came to our rescue after a flood in our RV and we had to find a place to stay for two nights with two dogs. The staff was gracious and sympathetic to our situation. The room was large and clean, the beds comfortable. The breakfast was good and a welcome treat. If we ever need a place to stay in Hereford, Tx again we will definitely stay here. I don't write reviews very often, really never. But do to the experience i had here i felt obligated to steer all others clear of this establishment. I pre paid for my room online yet the desk lady tells me that it was only reserved and that they didn't even have my card on file. The first room we got to seemed alright but the shower didn't work. The next room she sent us to had sheets that smelled like they weren't washed and were covered in BO. Other than these things it was okay but i think it's basic hotel knowledge that sheets should be clean for everyone for guest health sake. read more

Stayed here on our way home from CO. The man at the front desk was so nice and helpful! He even came up to our rooms and shoved show away from the door to our room right when we checked in. The beds were very comfortable and there was even a small refrigerator. Highly recommend this hotel for the price. And I am picky!! read more

I stayed here for 4 nights. I booked this room through hotels.com. I got a great price. The room was really clean and spacious. There was a table, 2 chairs, overstuffed chair, microwave, and fridge in the room. I loved the extra counter space in the bathroom plus an extra counter outside the bathroom with a mirror to get ready. There were plenty of plugs in the hotel room and bathroom. I had a handicapped shower where the shower curtain didn't go all the way to the floor but I didn't have a problem with water going on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was nice. Make your own waffles, cold cereal, pastries, coffee, juice, biscuits and gravy, hard boiled eggs, and sausage patties. The only negative comment is my room was close to the road and could hear traffic but even that wasn't a problem for me because I sleep with ear plugs. read more

The staff was courteous, the room was nice, and the breakfast was good. Nothing special really stood out about this hotel but it was not a bad experience whatsoever. If you are debating on where to stay in this area I would recommend this place. read more

I stayed for a week. House keeping would forget to turn the TV off when they cleaned the room. They also left the door to the room open which allows in a bunch of flies. Only had one problem with the front desk, and he was a jerk. (-1 Star!) They have a nice breakfast; Cereal, hot food, and make your own waffles were good. A nice clean pool. It's not a new places, but the place was well maintained. The ac unit worked well and the internet signal was strong in my room. My room came with a microwave, fridge, and 31 " flat screen with cable TV. The hotel is centrally located. Yes I would stay here again, but I'll bring a fly swatter. read more

I was pretty disappointed. The beds are terrible, sheets are itchy, and my room (207) smells horrible. Even though it's a non-smoking room, it's adjoined with a smoking room so it's extremely unpleasant. It's also in a very bad neighborhood, I was worried about my vehicle and trailer being parked in the dark and I heard drunk people arguing outside most of the night. read more

Spent the night here last night and was very dissappointed. After driving 600 miles straight, my father in law, the Mr. and I needed a place for the night. The biggest issue we had was the breakfast. They were remodeling the kitchen and could only serve muffins and danishes, store bought and who knows how old. They didnt tell us about the kitchen until AFTER we signed in and paid for our room. There was snow and ice on the ground, which is fine, since i live in indiana. There were metal slopes on the ground, and slick because of the snow and ice. We had to jump over them completely to keep from slipping. They were more than a nuisance; they were a hazard. The parking was awful. The parking spaces were in the back, and just screamed "mugging." The shower was level with the bathroom floor, a cloth curtain that didnt reach the floor, and there was a handicap chair taking up half the small shower. On the bright side, the room was clean and smelled really good. I didnt take any of this out on the young girl working there though, none of it was her fault. She helped us to the best of her ability, and i am grateful for that. read more
