We rescheduled for weeks to get the perfect day, and that is a testament to how accommodating and considerate she is to make sure we loved our photos. And we sure did - she used a mix of film and digital and I was blown away at her attention to detail and her eye for creating the perfect shot. We are not the most photogenic and she made the process so easy, giving us poses/prompts and cracking jokes along the way. Truly a joy to work with and would do so again in a heartbeat!

I was so excited to gift this album to my wife on our wedding day. I had to keep asking Cari how to purchase the photos, and eventually, after 2 months (and right before my wedding) she responded saying that my e-mail was entered incorrectly in her system, so I must have been missing the e-mails she was sending. She apologized and sent me 3 templates for possible albums. I was so excited, e-mailed her back telling her what album I wanted, and then radio silence. I have not heard from her since. She has completely ghosted me, and it has now been 8 months since I did the photoshoot with her. The opportunity to gift this to my wife on our wedding day has since past, and I spent $400 to get my hair, makeup, and photos done, all to not even be able to have the finished product. I was so excited to purchase an album, and I was not given that opportunity. I have reached out to Cari multiple times, calling, texting, e-mailing, over the course of the last 6 months since I last heard from her. I did not want to write her a poor review and I have given her plenty of time to reach out to me. I am confused, upset, and anxious about the entire situation. I did something so vulnerable (boudoir) with her, only to feel like I have somehow been taken advantage of with my money, signing a contract, and my time. It seems strange, as her other reviews are all 5 stars and glowing. It feels like she took my money and ran. I'm not sure what happened, but felt the need to share my experience so that it may be avoided in the future.

I really wanted to get some pictures of us where we got engaged, by the Golden Gate Bridge. I started doing some research and found Katrina on Groupon. As soon as I reached out to her she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. She's actually in Oakland, but came to San Fran to shoot us for an extra $15. We were able to chose 2 locations for our shoot and so we went to the Golden Gate Bridge welcome center and to the Palace of Fine Arts. Katrina was incredible! It can be so awkward having your photo taken and she made us feel so relaxed and comfortable at all times. She was so charismatic and fun, it really brought out the best for our pictures. She was very easy to get in touch with and very timely with getting our pictures to us. I highly recommend her services! The pictures speak for themselves!

She is always responsive and timely with the proofs and prints. I've had negative results with other photographers when it came to turn around time for prints so I appreciated this very much. Our last photo session with her was for my daughter's 2nd birthday. We had a photo shoot on what ended up being a very windy day in the park. My daughter was not very cooperative but Sabrina was very patient with her. I thought for sure we would have to redo the shoot because we may not have gotten any good shots. To my surprise there were several awesome photos. Sabrina was also willing to photoshop any imperfections that I requested. After experiencing two very stressful newborn photo shoots for my son with two different…read morephotographers, I was incredibly nervous to book another photography session for his six month photos. However, after finding Steph on Instagram through hashtags, I reached out to inquire about a six month photo shoot a month and a half to two months prior to him turning six months old. Steph made this experience from start to finish easy and incredibly awesome. She answered my initial email within hours. I love a prompt, responsive business owner. We were able to setup and get a date on the books within a couple of emails. The week before, I realized that our late afternoon session could go incredibly wrong because my son gets a little more fussy in the afternoons. I emailed and asked Steph if we could do a mid-morning shoot instead, and she obliged. Steph encouraged me to get a few shots with my son. I was incredibly hesitant because a) I generally hate how I look in photos and b) I'm still incredibly self-conscious with my body post-baby. The night before the shoot I was feeling like I should avoid photos of myself, but I took a dress with me just in case. On the day of the shoot, Steph was prompt, professional, and FUN. My son smiled around her, she was able to make him smile, she had cute outfits picked out, and most importantly she got me to take some photos with my son. Steph spent nearly two hours with us, and honestly, the shoot just flew by. I got sneak peek photos by the end of the day. Prior to booking I requested to have my photos before my son turned six months, and Step met that deadline with flying colors. I live on the Peninsula about an hour away from Steph, but I'd drive back in a heartbeat. I can't wait to have Steph shoot my son's 12-month photos. Thank you, Steph!
