As such, I tend to be pretty repulsed by most wedding videos. All I can see is shaky tripod, superbad zooming, poorly considered lighting, weird jump cuts (we were just at the ceremony, now were dancing, I don't understand). Most of it is just so bad. FLASHBACK: Younger, more cynical JULIE rolls eyes and yawns watching an acquaintance's wedding video. I've never even thought I would want to have a wedding video done, because I dislike them so. (CUE MOURNFUL FIDDLE) Which is sad, because I think these recorded memories are the best gift you can give yourself, the best gift you can give your kids, and their kids. A film person who would choose not to document the most important day of my life. Sad. I hired Sherry to do a boudoir session as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday. The whole process…read morewas a joy and very comfortable. She offered to set me up with a make up artist who I ended up booking. She came to the studio and did my make up before the shoot, so I didn't have to go anywhere else. She did a great job enhancing my features instead of making me look "made-up" which I wanted to avoid. Sherry showed me some books of previous clients (with their permission of course!) so I was able to give her an idea of my preferences. Her work was beautiful and her books were very professionally put together, so I knew then my man was in for a real treat!! She showed me several options for backgrounds, setups and accessories that she had, coordinating them with the ensembles I had brought to wear. I felt very comfortable the whole time and she gave me wonderful tips so I really looked my best. She adjusted the shoot according to my wishes and really took the time needed to make sure we got amazing results. Sherry had to do a photo shoot in France just before his birthday, but she made sure that the editing was done in time to send it to the lab for printing before she left. So I had the book a week ahead of my deadline, and I was absolutely thrilled with it. She also gave me the option of including some personal messages (or if you wanted a poem, song lyrics, etc.) so it really felt personal. As for how he liked it, can't get into details. I will say that my birthday was just ten days later and I can no longer call him my boyfriend. Now I'm super busy planning our wedding and my number one priority in picking a date was making sure Sherry was available to photograph it!!!

I think there was a miscommunication. I asked for a plant with a few fresh flowers. The girl…read morehelping me said they could do a certain type of plant (I can't remember what she called it), but with the kind of flowers they put in it, they would have water tubes and only last about 8 hours. Since this was to be the delivered the day before the funeral I told her I didn't want that kind and wanted something that would last longer. I spent $102 total and got an ugly, plain plant with the $20 crystal cross that I requested stuck on the dirt and pushed against the plant. The plant was so plain that I was ashamed of it and apologized to the family. I have used this florist multiple times in the past and have always been thrilled. This order was a complete disappointment. Next time I will make sure we are both on the same page.

I had an issue with one of the girls husbands, giving her a vacation and we got the date wrong so I called to reschedule for one bouquet and they were absolutely wonderful. Then I called back three days later because I found out the date was wrong for the vacation and they kept the original date for all three bouquets no problem. I will 100% be working with this company again.
