I think there was a miscommunication. I asked for a plant with a few fresh flowers. The girl helping me said they could do a certain type of plant (I can't remember what she called it), but with the kind of flowers they put in it, they would have water tubes and only last about 8 hours. Since this was to be the delivered the day before the funeral I told her I didn't want that kind and wanted something that would last longer. I spent $102 total and got an ugly, plain plant with the $20 crystal cross that I requested stuck on the dirt and pushed against the plant. The plant was so plain that I was ashamed of it and apologized to the family. I have used this florist multiple times in the past and have always been thrilled. This order was a complete disappointment. Next time I will make sure we are both on the same page. read more

They were amazing! I went in to order three bouquets for administrative professionals day. They were super easy to work with helped me with designs that turned out beautiful at an amazing price. I had an issue with one of the girls husbands, giving her a vacation and we got the date wrong so I called to reschedule for one bouquet and they were absolutely wonderful. Then I called back three days later because I found out the date was wrong for the vacation and they kept the original date for all three bouquets no problem. Needed an empty vase to be filled on Valentine's Day....all the staff was working diligently and doing so with smiles on their faces. I was told I could wait for my flowers that I picked out to go into my empty vase or come back. I chose to come back (ran some errands) I paid before I left and thought man I hope it looks good.......I returned to find out the designer Jennifer I think who also might be owner? Wowed me beyond belief. I think I got WAY more than I paid for and holy schnikeys I know this arrangement will be appreciated by more than just me! I needed a "thank you for coaching the soccer team" gift. With it being after Halloween I figured candy was a no go since they most likely had enough at their house. So flowers seemed right. When I walked in a began browsing at what they had. I was greeted almost right away, which I appreciate since I have never been there. I told them what I was looking for. They invited me to browse in the cooler, and the gifts around. I found an arrangement for $39 and a small balloon. It was perfect. It was a little more than what I was looking to spend. But, it is ok. They flowers were beautiful and appeared fresh. The staff was polite. The shop is a little small. I assume they do a lot of big projects on the side like weddings. I will plan to come back if I need flowers again. read more

The phone call and customer service was outstanding! They got the flowers and candy bouquet there in amazing time, although she admitted they service Norman Regional HealthPlex anyway, it's beside the point, they got there super fast. The bouquet is very pretty, but not what I expected for $80...10 blooms and the Ferber daisies were a dark red... I asked specifically for pink, bright happy colors, to include white and yellow...where are the hot pink gerbera? The candy bouquet was @ $30, a bit over priced considering what was included. However, they showed up quick, the kids were appreciative and the new baby couldn't care less. read more

My family and I went in to get some flowers for my mothers funeral. We were greeted by Casey who was very friendly and knowledgeable and understood exactly what we wanted. We looked through a book and found an item and before we made the order, she called the supplier to see that they had the Lily's in stock we needed. She then offered some suggestions for a ribbon and personalization. This was a nice touch. They then offered a military discount which was also welcomed. She also told us that many other friends of my mom had already ordered flowers for her service. I was pleased with the service, delivery, and appearance of the bouquet! Would do business with again! A New Beginning is the only florist I use. Jennifer and the Ladies are always helpful, and even, on many occasions, comforting. Sometimes, flowers just aren't the thing you want to send, and the ladies always have great ideas on other gifts. They have a great "Movie Night Basket" for someone recuperating. After the death of a friend, I knew the widow would be drowning in flowers, so Casey suggested a basket with a lovely throw, and a pretty picture frame. The customer service here is even more disappointing than the flowers! After reaching out to this florist to let them know that the $70 bouquet we ordered was dead within 24 hours (with pictures), they confirmed that it was due to their own staff cutting the stems WAY to short. They told us to come in for a cash refund and when we got there tried to hand me $15. That's right $15 for a $70 bouquet. You're money is better of in the garbage because that is exactly what you will get if you order flowers here. ***Jenifer H's (owner) comment below just proves my point. The Sender was expecting a FULL refund per the email communication he had. She then went back on her word and is now trying to save face by blaming the customer. HORRIBLE business!! read more

The service I received was none. I went in to price a corsage for my sons prom and flowers for a wedding. The young girl treated us like she had no time to help us and as if we were bothering them by coming in. No other customers in site. I want to keep everything local, but looks as if I'll be taking my business some where else. I needed two Christmas arrangements for two moms in our lives. They are very different people, and when I described them the ladies at New Beginning created very unique designs. I gave them my price range and they worked with me. They were beautiful. The shocking part was that they looked almost new a week later.
