Not only did they complete the job about a month earlier that the agreed upon timeline to finish but they did an excellent job. Additionally, we contracted them to complete our flooring job from a distance as we are currently residing in Texas while they worked on our home in PA. This can normally create hiccups in the process with communication but with Jim at the helm, we didn't miss a bear. He made sure to explain anything we were unsure of and responded to my many emails to ensure we were on the same page throughout the entire process. We trusted him with over 4,000 sq. Once the parts all arrived, 2 weeks for a damn downrod fans took 2 days Amazon is crazy, We made the appt and Jerry picked up all the parts he needed and showed up. We worked in a heated attic, I needed a fan to keep him cool, but we got all the wiring done. The fans where installed in a cooler environment, but that attic was super hot. I now finally have a ceiling light in 2 bedrooms that both have fans on them. First time in 35 years of living here. Great job. Might have another job in a few months that might be harder than this one.

We are doing a complete renovation of a home from 1898 and it has been a labor of love restoring some of the original features and adding modern conveniences. All of the rooms were carpeted, and one of the first things we knew we were going to do with the house was expose and refinish the hardwood. We were surprised / disappointed to find out when we removed the carpet that the floors originally had an area rug and was stained around - a fairly common practice at the time. What that meant for us was that we would always have a "ring" around the perimeter that was a different color. We were almost to the point of covering with new floor, afraid of what the end results would look like. But Jared was passionate that if these were his floors, he would be refinishing them. I love that personal investment, and I am so glad that we took the chance refinishing! Yes, you can see that little bit of a perimeter, but I am absolutely in love with the floors and all of the character they bring. More impressive was our main entry stairs. The woodworking on the stairs is incredible, and one of the things we most loved about the house, but the entire staircase was completely carpeted. We took off the carpet and it had this awful and impossible-to-remove green glue. Again, after a couple of days of trying to remove it, we were ready to give up on them and re-carpet and after talking to Jared he said "we can do this." So not only did they clean up the stairs completely, but he managed to mix and create the perfect stain color to match the old chestnut on the stairs - a mix of brown, orange, and yellow - depending on the angle you were looking at! They turned out absolutely incredible and are going to be a centerpiece in our home. Overall, I loved Jared's approach to the work, collaboration, and personality. He was absolutely the right fit for us, gave us a competitive price, and we are thrilled with the results. Thanks for caring about our place and giving us floors we will treasure forever!

I needed to replace my fence. It's was a mess and it was long overdue. I called the office, left a message and got a call back a few hours later. We set up a date about two weeks later for the owner to come out and give me an estimate. Day of he comes out and from the time he parked the truck until the time he got back in it was maybe ten minutes. Asked two or three questions and said it was all he needed and that the quote would come via email within the next few days. About a week later the email and the same estimate shows up in the mail the same day. The estimate is insanely high. Closer to 20K than it is to 10K for 160-ish linear feet of 6ft basic white vinyl privacy fencing and 2 gates. I didn't ask for anything specialized, custom, top of the line or exotic. Only bare basics. WTH. After a few days I called the office and left a message about what the price would be if we removed the old fence ourselves and never got a response which is what I assumed would happen. I'll take their silence to mean...??...the job is too small and they don't want to deal with it since there isn't enough money involved so let's give an unrealistically high quote that checks the box that a quote was given even if I would have to be an idiot to agree to it? Again, I don't know. They never returned my call or my follow up email so I'll take their silence to mean that it's time to move on, and I did, to another company who did a fantastic job for less than 10K. I get it. It's a crazy world we live in right now with supply chain issues, soaring prices and companies having lots of ongoing staffing issues which is why my rating isn't lower. But at the end of the day, there are times when you just get a vibe or feeling that the person/company you're dealing with isn't interested and that's exactly what I think happened here.
