First off, the place she works out of is really cute. She's in an old building in Orangevale and you have to take your shoes off before you enter. It's so peaceful inside that I could literally feel my energy junking things up. I guess that's a good thing though! I've done lots of groupons, but the problem is that even during massages I can't relax, and I never really find a good reason to go back. Kathleen paid attention to my shoulders like everyone does, and it hurt like it always does, but for some reason the room and the oils just helped my mind wander. I was shocked by how refreshed I felt afterward--very unusual for me! Needless to say, I'm definitely going back for her raindrop therapy. I'm still curious about reiki, but I think she is trying to ease me into the heavy-duty energy treatments and I'm not going to argue.
