However a couple…read moremonths later we found a spot that needed a gutter added, because after a rain there was a huge puddle from one of the rooflines dumping all the water where there needed to be a gutter/ downspout. we called them to get it fixed. They told us they were going out of business so they couldn't do it . well, today, a month later I saw them at a neighbors house installing gutters ! Dont trust them, they will lie to you. and if they are willing to lie, who knows what kind of crappy job they do just to get the money. be warned .

The estimate process was easy, they came out did a quick walk around and then emailed me the estimate. Price was fair but it did take me a while to pull the trigger. A couple of days, a week or two, later they contacted me, via email, to see if I still was interested. I was so they setup the appointment. On the day before the appointment I had to reschedule, they were very nice and were able to move it just one day. It made my day that it wasn't a huge hassle to move the appointment. When they came out the workers were very nice and were careful around the flower beds. The quality of work was excellent and they finished the job in a few hours.

Got to talking about plans for the door hole patch on the east side and the need to paint and fix more things - Kris mentioned he had crews able to do all the work needed. The price he quoted was as good as the roof & gutters cost. Again the crews did beautiful work putting up the hardy board siding to cover the patch - painting and installing beautiful aluminum soffit and fascia. I can't pick my jaw up of the ground. MQ came out on a Sunday (!) to give us a bid. We scheduled the installation for a couple of weeks out (waiting for some money to come in). When the money came in early we asked if they could possibly come sooner. They were booked but said if they could work us in they would. I originally…read morecame across him through Angie's List when I was looking for someone to fix some window screens last year. When he came by to fix the screens, he mentioned he was very familiar with my area and cleaned several of my neighbors' windows regularly. I decided to sign up for a monthly program with the owner. At first he was reliable and thorough--cleaning both inside and outside of all our windows (including very high 3rd floor windows as well as basement windows) at a very affordable price--40 windows for $80. They even clean during the winter months (except for the outside of the 3rd floor windows--way too dangerous to get up on snow-covered roof). On occasion, they would bend or break a window screen, but they would quickly repair it when brought to their attention. They cleaned our windows monthly for about 6 months and did a great job. Suddenly, and without any warning, in March of this year, they just stopped showing up. No calls, no contact, nothing. I reached out to the owner for several months thereafter and received no response--no call-backs, no return emails, no return texts. I was pretty persistent--trying to connect with him about every two weeks. I finally got through to him via text several months later and he simply said that he had cut back his practice and would no longer be servicing our home. No apology; no further explanation. I offered to increase the price because I thought he did a good job and I could trust him in my home. No response. In this trade, quality, dependability and professionalism are especially important to me. He scored high on quality, but failed miserably on dependability and professionalism. Consequently, I could never recommend this company. The full name of the company is Snows Gone Window Cleaning, but it also goes by the name of SG Window Cleaning. To be honest, I was torn between 1 star and 2 stars, but chose to give him the higher rating because when he was working for us, he did a good job.

Tom McCallum, the owner of Mid Mountain Construction is a top notch contractor. He did a hot tub…read moreinstallation at our Park City home that was pretty complicated. It involved laying a heated slab to accommodate a partially sunken hot tub. Tom did everything by the book and as with any construction project, when something went a little off the plan I was notified immediately with information as to what my options were. In the end, his estimate was right on and we have beautiful hot tub that has elevated the value of our home. 2 years after installation when the slab heater failed to work, I called Tom and he came right over. He had the plumber here the same day and diagnosed the problem immediately - a flipped circuit breaker. In addition to the hot tub project I have used Tom to remodel interior space and install custom cabinetry. Once again he and his team did an excellent job and we now have a beautiful mud room with boot heaters. Tom is a trustworthy and responsible contractor. if you are doing anything in Park City and want a company you can trust to get he job done right the first time, you simply have to call Tom. You won't be disappointed.
