The flooring was cut inside our home, leaving sawdust throughout the house, and after the installation we identified numerous workmanship and finishing issues. I contacted Chris and attempted to have these concerns addressed and corrected, but they were not resolved. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience has been frustrating and will likely cost us additional money to have the flooring properly repaired. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. I'm sharing this review in hopes that it helps other homeowners make an informed decision before hiring someone for a flooring project.

I contacted all five of them for quotes and chose Shingler on the Roof. The first company that I contacted immediately assumed that the entire roof would need to be replaced, before seeing it. They went out to assess the situation and provided me with a quote that was far more than I had anticipated. I then contacted the other four and found a wide divergence between them, both in terms of price and presentation of their quotes. When I contacted Shingler on the Roof, I liked that Mark did not immediately assume the entire roof would have to be replaced. However, following a site visit, he determined that it was the original roof and it was showing wear. He sent me several photos so I could see its deteriorating condition. He determined that it should be replaced and provided a quote that fell in the middle of the five. He was patient and responsive to my questions as I made a final decision. Once I committed to the job, we met at the house to go over a preliminary contract. Mark explained that the cost could be higher depending upon what he found under the original shingles. He and his crew fit me into their schedule fairly quickly. Once they started the project, Mark kept me appraised of their progress on the job. As it turns out, there was considerable damage under the old shingles. Once again, Mark provided photos which showed the severe damage. I felt fortunate for the original leak because I could have had a far worse situation if the roof had not been replaced. Mark and his team did an excellent job and cleaned up the site after they finished. The roof looks great and I would highly recommend Shingler on the Roof. [They are licensed and insured.] I wish I had before and after pictures but unfortunately I can't locate them.

I wanted a fresh, classy, updated look for our 18th-Century Colonial home...no simple task. Jose, the owner of V's, is a top-notch professional! He's organized, customer-focused, highly-involved and communicative, and gave us a very fair, detailed estimate. Scope of the work included electrical--18 recessed lights in 4 rooms--switches and dimmers, drywall and ceiling repair, and painting. Jose and his crew were 100% committed to both the project and us. The crew was courteous, timely (8 AM every morning), reliable, neat, and careful. Additionally, they worked efficiently to make the most of each day. Floors and furniture were covered first thing in the morning and cleaned/vacuumed at day's end to keep dust and dirt to a minimum. Such Incredible and unexpected attention to detail! V's did such an amazing job, we hired them immediately to refresh our above-garage apartment, and again, they did a fantastic job!
