Healthy, natural ingredients and no animal testing was my benchmark. The brands I know and love, (and HealthPost sell online) are Dr Hauschka, Living Nature and Jurilque. Now they only had products from Living Nature in the shop, but they do also stock a range of other brands I was unfamiliar with. Karen Murrell being one of them (great lipsticks discovered!). The shop had a small selection of organic food, lots or supplements, including a children's range and other various tea's and tonic's. Totally worth mentioning that although this is a small retail outlet, they have a very BIG online presence for you to shop to your hearts delight.

I emailed and got told the order was in the warehouse because the postal code only not the area name was on the address . my address came up automatically so not my mistake .The billing address had the area name ! What's great about the Ecostore is that, they actually work. Not like some of that other hippy-loving stuff. We've been using their dishwashing liquid, powder and body wash in our house for a couple of years now and everything always comes out squeaky clean. I don't know if I'll be giving up my heavy duty chemical oven cleaner or bathroom cleaner anytime soon, but it's a start. Yes, you can get a limited range of their products from the supermarket but their store is wonderful. They have a much wider range (including a great range for bubs) and other brands too. Not just food, there is a large range of natural supplements and organic skin care ranges and some of the product stocked I had not seen in these larger stores. They are more than a store though, as they offer naturopathy consultations here in the private consultation rooms at the back of the store. Often when you're not feeling the best, diet is to blame and the very knowledgeable staff will be able to set you right here. (and sell you stuff too). A friend of mine used this service a while back to help with her acne and was advised on what foods to eat and not eat and what other natural options were available to her besides the prescription medication that she was currently on at the time. She told me it helped. From memory I think they offer acupuncture too, so really this is more a total health and wellbeing store.
