i looked up reviews of this establishment before going, couldn't find any, so i decided to try them and then write one as they offered me a very interesting price. I used them about a month ago when my girlfriend and myself had just bought a 1.6 SXI vauxhall astra 2001. i had a look through the log book and decided to do an interim service (oil filter, oil change and a number of checks) as i was driving down to france the week after. I did my research calling up different garages from the chains to the little town garages which ranged from i think around 100 quid at kwikfit to 75 quid at a small village garage i discovered. I was then driving round bexhill and noticed bexhill motors, looked them up and found that they where not a small business having branches in Bexhill, Eastbourne and somewhere else close on but had been round for donkeys years,so i decided to go in and ask, the staff were very nice and the man at the desk quoted me 45 pounds which to be fair is a bit of a difference so i decided to go for it. They gave me an appointment and took the car along beginning of the week after. I have to say, they were brilliant fast, efficient,polite and professionnal. It was completed an hour and a half later,picked it up, and like promised charged 45 quid with the reciept, a paper for advisorys as they check over your car and the stamp in my service history. Now, i amnot saying i am a master in mechanics, but iknow how to do a service,looked it over, all was legit. Hi we wanted to write a positive review as so many people are only happy to whing and whine without a good word to say if they dont get their own way. Being involved in retail we experience this its a shame few people make the effort to compliment business` when things go well but are only too willing to whing and whine if they do not. Some people just dont like to be told No Thats Not Possible. We have bought 3 cars from this garage and found the sales department to be friendly helpful and knowledgable. The cars we bought seemed fairly priced and were very well prepared. Nothing was too much trouble all the information and details made available for us to inspect before commiting to buy and the car freshly serviced and MOTd` before we collected it. The cars have performed superbly with some minor problems developing however they were quickly and efficiently dealt with by the sales and service department. We paid extra for an extended warranty and have easily covered the fee with the claims that have been made through the warranty. I have told friends who have also bought cars from them with similar experiences. So we would recommend Bexhill Motors to be a good bet if you want a failrly priced, well prepared car and an excellent level of back up and service. read more
