I had see BumbleBee Skincare and waxing on my way to and from work and just passed it thinking parking would be inconvenient. However, I made a hassle free appointment using the MindBOdy app and realized they have free parking around the corner. I was a little skeptical initially so I only booked an under arm appointment. When I entered the business, I was brightly greeted by their amazing front desk associate. She was kind and professional. I really miss that quality of care in customer service but had become accepting of it. This was a great change. I was also happy to feel taken care of by a very knowledgable professional. I happen to ask how long they've been in business and was not surprised to find out it was 19 years. You can really tell when a business care for their employees and their well being. I really wish I had started my waxing experience here. The wax or method they use is fast, effective and pretty much painless. I left happy and with a wonderful face scrub and was happy that I found a new home for waxing. It feels absolutely luxurious and spa like. I went home and booked a brazilian for the next day. The usual dread of certain areas that are usually very painful were unperceived by the conversation. My surprise at how efficient and fast my wax was left me beyond grateful and knowing I'd found a new go-to place. I am very excited to try their facials soon and learn more about taking care of my skin this year.

I left a tip with payment and that man RUDELY began shaking his head no, smirking, and told me that wasn't a big enough tip. He snatched my receipt from my hand and then shoved other receipts at me - showing other customer tips. I NEVER went back. It's a shame because I had been coming there regularly for over a year. Tips are great and I always left one - but they are not mandatory. I started to ask him how much of the massage cost he was actually giving to his therapists, but I was done. It would not have mattered.... :(

Small location compared to my home European Wax Center…read more Made an appointment on a whim for a Thursday afternoon. Went early as I had no idea where this location was. Turns out it was a smart decision as it's hidden in a plaza with a Publix. Felt out of place. Both the location and my actual person. I am so used to going to the same European Wax Center that I forgot the last time I had been asked about a bunch of forms. No matter - I did it on the app beforehand, but it felt weird. Jamiaiya wound up attending me as I had chosen the first available person. She was very sweet and she had the magic touch. Very gentle. I nearly didn't feel a thing. Only reason I even felt a glimpse of pain for my upper lip was because it had been too long, but believe me, I've been doing this for years, and Jamiaya was amazing. Anyhow, when all is said and done, I'm pleased with this location and the services I received. I also found them slightly cheaper than my home European Wax Center in South Florida, so there's that to think about as well.

If you're reading this review, chances are you're contemplating getting a Brazilian wax. Let's be…read morereal: yes, they hurt. There's no avoiding it. But honestly, it's something I feel like people should try at least once. Yeah it hurts, but the result is so nice afterward plus you don't have to do any maintenance down there if you plan on going swimming or to the beach. I've gotten Brazilians at this location and one in Jacksonville and like the efficiency of Brazil's Waxing Center. At this location, Karen was the technician who did mine. She was super funny and personable and was great at distracting me. For pain tolerance reference, I've gotten my underarms waxed for several years and only recently started getting Brazilians. They hurt the most for the first 3 waxes, but as the hair gets thinner they hurt less and less. Honestly, the first time was the most painful and then after it was totally doable! A few tips for first time waxers: do NOT go work out right after your Brazilian or go swimming/do anything that could clog your pores for AT LEAST 24-48 hours after. If you ignore this recommendation from the technician, I almost guarantee you will get ingrown hairs. No one wants that. I actually really like the exfoliate and ingrown hair serum that they sell there, but I don't think the soap is worth the money. Bottom line: just try it!!
