I couldn't have asked for or envisioned better treatment, both physically and personally from your personnel. When I needed an appointment by the end of March 2025 for my total knee replacement surgery recovery, I called after hours and left a message. The receptionist made a couple of follow-up phone calls to oblige my request . I feel that was extraordinary and way above and beyond the call of duty. I am very grateful for their attentiveness. I have had the opportunity to work with all of the therapist at the Secaucus facility. All of the therapist, Dewang, Jonathan, Maira, Yasmin all have their PT, DPT respectfully, as well as Priyanka the Clinical Director who is also hands on and has a MS, PT, DPT as well. This crew work collaboratively to cheer you on with the spirit and clapping of Applebees singing happy birthday. In fact every time l increased in my degree of bending, I bought the staff a cake that represented my accomplishment, needless to say .... they all cheered . They're always so radiant, friendly, laughing heartily, and easy to talk to, and I looked forward to coming in and seeing their smiling faces every Monday , Wednesday and Friday. These young therapist are always so personable, positive, cheerful, and friendly from the minute I walk in until the minute I leave. They always make me feel comfortable and welcome. They're very conscientious, professional and helpful about everything they do for me and my treatment as well as being one step ahead especially with setting up appointments. They're always smiling, upbeat , easy to talk with and a good sense of humor. My initial therapist Dewang was very thorough and knowledgeable when I came in for my evaluation and went over everything imaginable to meet my goal. His professionalism and expert knowledge about the complete body made me feel very comfortable that I was going to get the best treatment available. His diagnosis of what he was going to do accordingly with my operation was right on target based on his knowledge and professional experience, even before getting my prescription from HSS. He always seem to care about what I have to say, listen very intently to what I say and how I'm feeling, and make me feel that it really is important what I say, even to the point of basing some of the treatment on that. He never makes me feel like I am clueless. Jonathan was one of the well educated therapist that I initially also saw. He furthermore answered every question and concern of mine with total honesty, complete thoroughness, and talked to me in language that is informative and completely understandable to someone not up to date on medical terminology . If I don't understand something or aren't sure of it. He always took time to re-explain it or show me physically to make it more concise. He also gave me some easy exercises to do at home that increased my confidence and range of motion. I would definitely and emphatically recommend Professional Physical Therapy , Secaucus to everyone who needs to go through a physical therapy program. He was absolutely right, I have worked with two of the therapists so far and both of them are changing my life for the better. Humberto Colmenares interviewed me the first day I came in. His interview was in depth which made me feel extremely comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and I know he has set me up to succeed with healing my neck, arm and back issues. I keep telling him he has magic hands. He is very strong and has amazing range to massage the pain away. Everything he has me doing is helping me and I am getting into the swing of things quickly. After two weeks at Kesseler with Humberto and Maria's support, I was able to walk without with moderate pain. After 6 weeks, I was able to walk comfortably, travel longer distances, and stand for at least 15-20 minutes at a time without pain. I went to him early December 2020 with debilitating pain on my left groin which was tender to the touch. In addition, I was limping because of the pain. I had seen my orthopedic and he recommended physical therapy as the beginning to my recovery prior to sending me off for an MRI. As soon as I came for my 1st visit Dr. Anatoli knew exactly what to do to get me to where I needed to be. He provided me with various services that were essential to my recovery. Dr. Anatoli is not your typical physical therapist as he is knowledge extends from the basic exercise approach. He has state of the art equipment such as (just to name a few): biomagnestism, bio-electric massages, dry needling, also caters to homeopathic remedies, as well as applied kinesiology for diagnosis. Come to find out there was no paperwork. I had ONE sheet of paper to fill out and it consisted of mine and my sons name . That's it lol Okay fine, me being extra early wasn't anyones fault. Now 3:00 comes and nothing. The girls in the front seem nice, everyone was just in their own world which is expected. Now it's maybe 3:20 and they sit me in a room where I sat and waited on my phone for another 15 mins or so. Another assistant comes and moves us to another room ........ now I'm in a new room but STILL waiting for the doctor. Then the doctor comes in and doesn't introduce himself so I honestly don't even know what doctor we saw lol, but he did say hi for what it's worth. Sits on his chair and practically runs my foot over didn't say excuse me , I moved to another chair because he was practically on top of me with his chair and he STILL didn't apologize lmfaoo. Maybe he was just too old and didn't feel it or he just had a rough day and was over it lol . Anyways, during the entire appointment/ "consultation" there were NO words said so let's clarify it was not a consultation because nothing was "consulted" lol. He sat, poured some peroxide in my sons ear then suctioned it. (I'm upset at how everything went but I'm still thankful for what he did if was for my sons benefit) He did both ears then told me he was "all done" lol still no other words. I walk out, asked the girls if i was done. They offered to make me a follow up for idk what but that was a HARD NO . What bothered me MOST is that I drove 23 mins to the appointment and no one had the decency to even apologize for my long unnecessary wait. Maybe because my son has Medicaid they didn't really give a shit how I felt ... but thank god for reviews, right lol. Long story short this was my first and last visit but if you do plan on coming to this office bring a book and some patience with you.
