They had to call them up, and go get them from the guy while I waited an extra hour. I brought my vehicle to this shop for repairs following an independent out-of-province inspection…read more I was quoted over $2,500 for the work, which included a power steering pump replacement and a wheel alignment. Neither of these items was listed as a failure on the official government inspection report. The shop attempted to inflate the bill with several questionable charges. They EVEN quoted 1.5 hours of labor to install a seat that simply clicks into the seat brackets. When I asked about light bulb repairs, they claimed it could take hours to check the wiring and suggested there might be complex electrical issues. (Without even changing a bulb yet) Additionally, they charged me an $80 inspection fee for doing nothing and a $48 charge for a minor brake adjustment that I never authorized. When I moved my vehicle to an honest shop, I received a quote for the exact same required repairs for $1,400 including the unauthorized repairs this shop was claiming they needed to do. It was still far less than the quote I received at OUR MECHANIC. Troy the manager seemed to be really trying hard to bolster the costs of everything and mentioned over 10 times the fact that I had gotten an out of province inspection done somewhere other than his shop which seemed to be problematic for him. I felt pressured and was repeatedly told I should have used their facility for the inspection and that they would have prioritized my vehicle if I had come to them for the out of province inspection as well. Which led me to get a creeped out feeling that they were predatory and dishonest. Glad I saved myself so much money by going somewhere else.

The technician found that one of my wheel bearings was making noise and he obviously noted it on the form and told me in person. What he did however was write the WRONG one down on the form. So I got the left one replaced for $200 when it was the right one that was failing all along. Made me waste $200 on a perfectly good bearing and caused me a great deal of difficulty. The technician looked half asleep and didn't even apologize when his mistake was made apparent. I'm appalled and will definitely be recommending any of my family and friends NOT visit this facility. You're better off somewhere where they can just fix your car at the same time.

Recently had driven to southern B.C. with my campervan with all the mountain driving and using the…read morebrakes often when I got to Calgary I took my van to get it looked at Crowfoot minute-tune& brakes - crowfoot and they recommended to get rear brakes and replace front calipers, fair enough, got the job done, paid for the brake job which was higher cost than other places and went to get in ,van noticed my hub caps missing and went to talk to Marty , service manager, where is my hubcaps, he looked in car bay and could not find them and said are you sure you had 4 hubcaps, yes I drove all of southern B.C and I had 4 hubcaps and had them when I dropped off van to get brake service, he said I will talk to owner of shop, 5 weeks went by of which every week I would drop by to see if I could get compensation for replacing hubcaps, finally finding new hubcaps and giving receipt to Marty of $55 and again he said I would talk to owner 4 days later going to see Marty he said he talked to owner and he said no way he would pay for the hubcaps, very petty for such a small amount and I would never recommend any body to deal with this shop
