I would give a 0 star review if I could, however this will hopefull at least warn people who are about to spend their hard-earned money and time. Had an inspection bookedwith this place. They were sweet as sugar on the phone to get me in, however when I arrived there, it was a different story. Not only were they tard, their verbatim and demeanor were seemed extremely apathetic and unprofessional. From the time I walked into that place, their facial expression and eyes said it all (I am not caucasion, and to be fair they seemed to be nice to every caucasion that they interacted with - until they werent infront of them, then they had no problem snickering at their clients) for everyone out there who knows what Im talking about, you would agree. Even afyer being verbally abused by their manager Scott Bissel, (keep in mind I was extremely patient and professional, even in my tone of voice to him) not once but TWICE, Ibstill kept my composure, paid for the inspection, and was on my way. I normally dont go out of my way to write even negative reviews; I usually leave things like this in Gods hands, but WOW. The badgering, and atrocious looks/tone of voice was almost criminal. This so called manager scott also had the gull to say "hey no hard feelings right?" as I was leaving. If I was tempermental or discourteous to this guy, I could at least begin to understand why he was so blatantly rude... the honest to God fact of the matter was I was very calm and poised, amist his temper-tantrums. I dont like to bring race into the equation, but it looks to me that he has a big problem with minorities, especially behind their back. Heck, even the white people he had something negative to say about almost all the people that came through, while I was waiting. People and business' like this make me sick to my stomach. I would rate this place at a 0/5 stars if I could. The self proclaimed owner and manager, (Scott Bissel) not only is verbally abusive, he's just plain ignorant. While I was waiting there, he and his staff greet people with a big fake smile, and is seemingly kind to them on the phone. As soon as he hangs up, or sends another unknowing person on their way, they (being him and his staff) had the most ignorant things to say about them. Scott's actions speaks for themselves. This review is also long overdue. For your own sake DO NOT BELIEVE THESE FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS - YOU DESERVE BETTER THAN WHAT THIS PLACE HAS TO OFFER. If I was treated this way after being courteous and professional towards him and his staff, how do you think things will go down if you experience any sort of altercation? His inspection was also a joke - Luckily I had more credible information to go by. These positive reviews are a joke; if you're foolish enough to believe them, then go for it - Just don't claim that nobody warned you. Perhaps if this scott individual was actually genuine, instead of a conniving snake, he would be treated with more respect. Shameful and inappropriate to say the least were his actions. My Husband and I were on our way with our Camping Trailer for a weekend to celebrate our Anniversary. We stopped for gas at Petro Canada across the street from Harvest Hills Auto Repair. We noticed one of our tires from our trailer was flat. My Husband put air in it, and off we went. We stopped only a few blocks away to check the tire and it was flat again. We know we probably would have to forgo our Wedding Anniversary Weekend. We pulled into the Mall across from the gas station and then we noticed Harvest Hills Auto, so I went inside explained our dilemma and even though they were full, they took us right away, so we could continue on our way. They found the huge nail in the tire, fixed it all in a matter of 1/2 hr to 45 minutes. We were so happy and grateful to Fedele in getting us squeezed in and fixed right away. I stumbled on this by accident. We were getting an oil change by one of the chains and was just walking around the shops. I needed a wheel alignment so I grabbed their card. I'm also on the hunt for a decent mechanic/service centre. I booked in a few days later. They did the wheel alignment and free inspection. I could tell they were an honest place right away when they said other then that my car looked great. And didn't "find" a bunch of things wrong with it. Also when i was in there i noticed they have really good service packages for oil change with tire rotation and inspection for the same charge as the big oil change stores. I was really impressed with the service and prices. And my husband and I will be going there from now on for all our matience from now on. read more

Brutal service. I ended up having to replace my entire car just because of the damage they caused while "fixing" my old car. My brand new battery and brand new alternator were both completely fried after the horrific damage they did to my car's engine, by purposely avoiding the actual problems with my car. I had a battery light on for months, in which I was told "was just a power shortage, and not an issue," where as the third time I came back, they told me right off the bat that it was, therefore lying to me and knowing it was the problem all along. I was completely scammed through my entire experience with Auto Select (Repair), and I would not recommend this place to anyone, unless losing money and/or your entire vehicle interests you. read more

A big thank you to Chris and Fedele who provided great service to two damsels in distress today. We turned up at 3.30 with an over-heating car and no way back to Banff. Chris was able to fit us in for a free check up before they closed and had an answer for us almost right away. He was honest, helpful and provided us with some tips (and two big jugs of water) for getting back to our destination safely. He even asked us to give him a call and let him know how we went. Chris is extremely personable and we can't thank him enough for his help and service today, even towards the end of his shift. We couldn't recommend these guys any higher. I went to Auto Repair for my first time today to pick up my car and was greeted by Fedele. All I needed to get done on my car was a tire change, but they ended up performing a free inspection. I don't really know anything about cars.. but Fidele definitely understood my situation. He described everything to me so I could understand and he was very patient. They for sure gave me a good impression. I guess right when you become a customer of their's they offer road side assistance right away. I had a issue with my tire pressure monitor that needed to be checked before I got on the highway for a long trip. I walked in without an appointment... everyone in the front was really friendly. I was told they could probably squeeze me in that afternoon. As promised, they made the time to look at my car and test drive it for me. When I picked up car they gave me the information I needed to avoid the problem in the future and didn't charge me for their time. Needed an Out of Province inspection for insurance so my daughter Kristi did all the homework in finding an auto repair shop. She found HH with Fidel and Chris. Most professional and friendly, we knew we were in good hands. After work they recommended, which I did need, I passed and will not ever take my car anywhere else. this is the third time I've taken my vehicle to harvest Hills auto. This time was for front brakes but upon inspection they were not necessary so only the oil change was completed. Many auto repair-shops would've just gone ahead and change the brakes regardless but Having integrity they called us and said not necessary. I would highly recommend harvest hills auto as these guys do first class work but they put their honesty and integrity before anything else. read more

I took my vehicle in to switch over my tires and they let me know that the ones going on needed to be replaced, not only did they get me an amazing price but they also got it done quickly! Unfortunately for me a few days later my brake sensor light came on and again they got me in super quick and with a great price! Work is always done in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price and they don't seem to recommend work that isn't really required, instead advising that certain things will need attention in X number of miles.
