I hadn't had my eyes checked in about 8 years, and I hadn't had new glasses in 15. I brought my daughter with me for an eye exam after finding out her regular doctor wasn't available to see her for 4 months. That doc was a big egomaniacal jerkface, and we had grown used to waiting for an hour or more for our appointments to even start at that office. Dr. Sharma and staff got us in within two days of me calling, and they are actually punctual AND good with kids. We were in and out in under an hour, and that was with 2 eye exams and picking two new pairs of glasses (which was also ridiculously easy; the staff there are very honest about what looks good on you). My visit was unexpected and I chose Beyond Vision because they were close to home. I had a very short window of time to see an optometrist before leaving the city. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with, and they gave me an appointment within the hour. My initial assessment was with an intern. He assured me the issue with my eye wasn't critical, but suggested a follow up at the end of the week. My follow up was with Dr. Bain, who was very thorough and took the time to clearly explain the issue with my eye. I have a 3rd follow up scheduled in 30 days. I have been having lots of trouble with my vision for the last three years as I developed some issue causing me double vision I needed a good optometrist who could understand my problem and give me right prescription I tried one last year but issue remained unsolved and I was advised by a friend to see Dr Sharma, accordingly I booked appointment to see him. He examined my eyes thoroughly and used all his equipment to assess that I needed different type of glasses than what I got last year. The staff always made me feel welcomed the moment I stepped in and they made sure you were taken care of. The staff were very considerate throughout my eye exam process. I have to mention their state of the art equipment; my first experience with an Optos Scan which provides a detailed view of your retina. The appointment was for my 7 year old daughter for routine check up. The staff were very professional, friendly and accommodating. The service was great! I had a walk-in appointment initially and the wait time was short (less than 5 minutes). The staff were extremely kind and professional and the doctor sat and explained my diagnoses and the medication prescribed in great depth. Just amazing how the staff is so knowledgeable, kind and experienced. Dr Sharma is great at what he does and very helpful. I've been to beyond vision previously and the staff knew I was from Fort Mac I guess from looking at my file and were very sympathetic and helped me out as i was working in the wildfire for a week and had an infection in my eye due to the contaminants. Our visit at Beyond Vision was great! Although we were scheduled to see one doctor, another doctor offered to see my son (who is older) while my daughter was being examined, in order to save us time. Each doctor was very thorough in the examination and in their explanation of the results. I too was examined and we all felt comfortable and well cared for during our visit! Dr. Sharma is wonderful. He is very professional, and always takes the time to give me a complete eye exam every time I come in - along with providing me a thorough answer of all my questions. I called in on Monday morning after having issues with my eye on the weekend. I was able to be booked that afternoon to be looked at. I saw Dr.Sharma this time got in looked at and a prescription for my eye infection asap. Friendly staff and no pressure to buy. As I typically have a very busy day,I appreciated the amount of time it took.
