A very popular cinema chain in Turkey…read more I've gone to several Cinemaximums in Turkey. This is my first one in Istanbul in the snazzy upper crust Nisantasi neighborhood. It is nice like all Cinemaximums. Whenever I buy a ticket, I make sure the film is in English. Some films are dubbed in Turkish, so it is always good to double check. A lot of box office busting films end up here. So, if you are an action movie cinephile you'll be quite happy. I saw Godzilla II and the sound was quite good. I'm not fan of the 3D films here because they appear to be a bit darker for some reason. The bright colors are a bit muted.
