Unfortunately, I misread my reminder and believed my appointment was at 4:00 PM. I drove over an hour, encountering heavy traffic, construction, and an accident. My GPS showed an ETA of 4:00 PM when I received a call from your office.m at 352 pm,  I was told that if I was not there by 3:45 PM, my appointment would be canceled. I explained I was already enroute &  only 8 minutes away to arrive at 4, but was met with a very dismissive response and told the doctor could not wait a few minutes. As someone in significant pain, I found the lack of compassion & professionalism very disappointing. I followed up with a phone call to the office after 11:00 AM the next day because no one responded to the email I sent regarding how I was treated. During that conversation, I learned that the issue was not actually that the office had closed. While the office manager acknowledged that the practice closes at 4:00 PM despite many online listings showing 5:00 PM, she explained that Dr. Price had personally instructed the staff to call me when she learned I was running late. When she found out I would not arrive on time, she left the office before I got there. The staff then called to ask if I wanted to reschedule. I do not. After this experience, I will not be returning to this office. I will be transferring to another location and would choose a different podiatrist altogether if one were available in my network. Based on my experience, I did not feel valued as a patient, and I believe the Douglasville office lacks concern for the patients it serves.

They would have lay me on the table a bend that knee til I said stop. And the place wasn't very clean. My first TKR recovery was tough, 5-6 months before I walked without an Cain. And I know every TKR is different, as well as the therapist. Well now I'm at my 4th PT center in 2 1/2 years. What a wonderful place. I was welcomed by a wonderful lady named Vanessa. She got all of my paperwork together, and all of the admin stuff. And she collects the money. She takes your money with a smile. Everyone was pleasant, and welcoming. I started my rehab with Reba who explained my entire rehab plan, and I was told what to expect. From there over the coarse of 8 weeks I would have Miranda, the owner, Sheila (always has a smile and a hug for you), walk me through my rehab exercises. They were careful not to cause any pain. In the beginning I expected hands on pushing, stretching, pulling right off the bat , I had anxiety over it the days before I started. Totally different from what I was expecting from previous experiences. They always took into consideration my pain tolerance. They would just ease me into the next step, and before you realize it I was further along than you thought . Thanks Miranda, Sheila, Reba, and Vanessa for helping me towards a speedy recovery. She even drew pictures for me so that I could visualize what she was telling me. AND, she wrote down the treatment plan for me to have to refer back to as well! Her caring spirit and compassion for her patients as well as her passion for her work was evident throughout the entire visit. You will most likely have to wait a little longer than usual, but it is only because she is taking thorough and meticulous care of each and every patient. So, plan accordingly and just know that she is VERY much worth the wait!

The staff worked hard to schedule an appointment immediately. The office staff, the PA, the clinical staff were all very nice. However, when the physician came in to consult on my mother's case, he walked in, grabbers her arm without any acknowledgment or greeting. He seemed oblivious to the fact that he was causing her a great deal of pain. Only after I made a point of introducing my mother to him did he bother to introduce himself. NOT OK. I appreciate that he is busy, but the lack of respect was very hurtful. The fact that she can't speak for herself doesn't in any way make her less worthy of respect and compassion.

I left my Mom outside while I tried to get help from the receptionist and she didn't come to help. I returned outside and attempted to back the wheelchair in and hold the door simultaneously. It was quite awkward, uncomfortable and painful. A lady that was waiting with her family member assisted me with the second set of doors. This situation needs to rectified ASAP before someone seriously gets injured.

Everybody tryin to hype thre day and experience up but it was basic - real basic at best! Then, when she had my eyes covered I catch her taking our pictures when she thinks we was seeing!! At least in midtown - there's a nice ambience, dark room, peace - here they kept talking about having a tv (whoopee) and all the shows we could watch - like that's what I came for to watch Tyler Perry!
