I'm glad I had looked on Yelp before so I knew there was not going to be any inside seating. We sat on the patio- not sure if those seats are normally available or if they belong to Birra Birra and we're just open due to the colder weather. Our server was friendly and let my friend try multiple samples before picking her flavor. I got the cookie dough, and while I loved the fudgey swirls, I was disappointed that I only got 2 pieces of cookie dough in my scoop. The ice cream was very creamy! read more

I've gotten whiplash with how quickly Bibi's changes things. So here's an update about some of the most amazing ice cream I've had, from a place that seems oddly intent on disappointing me otherwise. Almost like the Birra Birra folks were going, "How can we make sure that customers aren't 100% satisfied?" Since I last visited (some three months ago), Bibi's has: (1) reduced the toppings included with the ice cream (e.g. there used to be a sauce and two toppers with the Double, but now there's no sauce), (2) increased the price (e.g. the Double's price point has shifted from $5 to $6), and (3) decided that they no longer will offer taste tests. So let me needlessly summarize. In three months, they've decided that they're going to: (1) give me less, (2) charge me more for the pleasure of enjoying less, and (3) they won't even let me try a flavor to see if I'll like it before they charge me more for the pleasure of enjoying less. That all feels petty, but okay... But maybe it's just me. I'm realizing that I may not be the clientele they're aiming for with Chisholm Creek. Chisholm Creek, being the newest yuppie hangout spot, feels like a place that knows that it can get away with overcharging people. Because a yuppie and his upper-middle-class income need to be parted as quickly as possible on slightly above average things. And I'm the yuppie who wants slightly above average things but also understands that I'm being gouged. So a whiny yuppie, I guess... But the ice cream is really good. Like... really good... It is the perfect blend of creaminess, interesting flavors, and enjoyable textures, ultimately resulting in one of the most satisfying cold desserts I've had in like... forever. The Rocky Road and Cookie Dough flavors for example(s), are divine. An aside: the waffle bowl isn't a bowl, it's a waffle ring (no bottom), but it's made to look like a bowl. That's a bit of a cheat, but okay... [] Things that Bibi's still sucks at [] Customer service: The employees are some of the most lackadaisical, uninspired, bored-out-of-their-gourd, unhelpful employees I've dealt with in quite some time. The number of times I heard, "I don't think so..." or "I'm not sure..." is, to quote Jimmy McMillan: "Too Damn High!" Throughput process: It's outright goofy. You have Birra Birra customers wandering over after their meals, and you have non Birra Birra customers wandering in wanting some ice cream, and it's a cluster of polite Oklahomans repeatedly saying, "No, after you. No, you go ahead, I'm still deciding. No no, you were here first" while the Bibi's employees look around like glassy-eyed muppets. Space: There's literally no room to sit inside Bibi's (or Birra Birra) for Bibi's customers. The only seating options are outside. So if I'm wanting ice cream in the summer, it means I have to gobble it up quickly in an open space that has little in the way of trees/shade while the stupidly blazing Oklahoma sun beats down on my extra melanin-making head. The alternative would be to eat at Birra Birra, and then order Bibi's while you're in there, but then you're looking at a much more expensive meal for the sake of enjoying dessert. Go to the side of the building (facing the lake) to find Bibi's 2. Since it's a concept from the folks of Birra Birra, you can order from your server if dining in at Birra Birra. I could taste the freshness in the ingredients. My favorite flavors I tried were fresh strawberry & butter pecan. You can ask for samples of any flavor if you go inside to the counter to order. Those cones are sensational-don't miss out on them. They have the cone or waffle bowl made from the same batter. Service was good, but their presentation needs some help. There was lot of open space in the freezer along with some food crumbles--wasn't appealing. The kids running it just seemed like they could use some adult guidance. Decided to stop by tonight for the first time to give their ice cream a try! Byron was beyond INCREDIBLE and went above & beyond in his customer service! I'm the most indecisive person ever, but never once did he seem annoyed and continued offering different suggestions to taste test! He let us know which was his favorite, the crowd favorites, the limited seasonal flavor, as well as even his moms favorite! This young man was incredible and truly deserves a raise!! read more

This place is cool. It's basically connected to Bira Bira but you can walk up to a to-go window outside and order ice cream. Service was good. I got the rocky road and it was good but nothing super notable. I would recommend this place to others. Definitely worth trying. read more

Bibi ice cream is the best ice cream in OKC. Hands down. If you haven't ventured to Chisholm Creek and enjoyed a cup of this delicious ice cream you are missing out! The ice cream is rich, creamy and delicious and the flavor options are awesome. I loved the pistachio, SO GOOD. They have several sauces and topping options that add to their delicious handmade ice cream. Next time I'll be trying a brownie sundae, because why not? :) If you are interested in vegan they do have vegan options and you can buy a pint to take home if you don't want to enjoy right away. The selection is small and I'd love to see this business thrive and open up a larger store with more selection. Give them some more time and space and I'm sure they would dazzle us with more delicious flavors. It looks like they are part of the pizza place next door and the owners are testing out ice cream. Well, they hit it out of the park and I hope they keep going. The shop does not have any place to sit, it really is just a small little corner of the pizza restaurant but right outside the door there are tables, chairs and yard games to play with a view of the little lake. Sitting outside enjoying our ice cream was the makings of a perfect summer night! After moving here from a place that had an outstanding locally made ice cream shop I had been disappointed with the options I have tried in OKC until I stopped at Bibi. I'm never one to turn down ice cream if offered, so I'm sure I'll keep trying other places but if I'm even close to bibi I'll make sure our dessert stop is there! read more

We strolled over to Bibis one evening after eating at uncle Julio's. It's conveniently located in Chisholm creek and is connected to Birra Birra. We walked up and didn't really know how to order there was a window to order but no one there so we went inside. The presentation of the ice cream didn't really wow me lots of empty space and random crumbles of cones and toppings within. They had all your basic flavors and then some. They had just about every topping you could imagine but since i was paying $3 for a single scoop of ice cream i didn't want to drop another $3 in toppings. After we got our ice cream there was no seating!! The seating was only for Birra Birra customers. So we were forced to sit outside in the 90 degree heat so we could hurry up to eat our melting ice cream. Traveling here with a toddler wasn't fun because we were forced to run back in for napkins once it become melting since they didn't give us any. The ice cream itself was amazing get the strawberry so fresh and just plain delicious although i think I enjoyed the actual cone even more than the ice cream. The cone was probably one of the best waffle cones I've ever had in my life. The single scoop was huge plenty enough for two people to share. I would come back just maybe on not so hot of a day since you're forced to eat outside they need to get seating pronto. read more

We came upon this place after eating next door. Such a great find! Grace served us and she was super sweet and friendly. My husband and I tried a variety of flavors, pistachio being my favorite and the cookie dough being his. We both decided on waffle bowls. The waffle was so good! He topped his cookie dough ice cream with caramel and heath and I tried raspberry sauce on pistachio per grace's recommendation. My husband fell in love with the ice cream. I enjoyed mine as well, although I did not care for the rasberry sauce so I would not chose that next time (too bitter for me). We will definately be back next time we want to get ice cream! Just go to Braum's. I visited on Monday, April 22nd around 1:00 pm and had to flag down anyone in the restaurant. For a minute I thought my dreams had come true and I was invisible. When someone finally came to help us, they were shocked and confused about how we knew they were open. I paid for the 3 of us and then they proceed to tell us they're out of nearly everything we ordered. Keep in mind, they literally just opened. Everyone finally makes other selections and we move on. The ice cream was subpar and I can honestly say Braum's does ice cream better. Later on I was thinking about how my ticket was nearly $18 for 3 ice creams and reviewed my receipt. I was charged $3 for each topping instead of .50¢ like they were supposed to be. I reached out to the business on Instagram with the photo of my receipt and was told that The GM would be contacting me to refund the overcharge. That was on April 23rd and here we are on June 12th and I still haven't heard from the GM. I visited again in May and our entire party had to forego ice cream because it was incredibly unorganized and took about 15 minutes/person just to order. read more

Oh wow!! Now this is ice cream! First it tastes super fresh. Texture is dense meets smooth and creamy with wonderful chunky spots that delight the tongue. The few flavors I've tried so far were very good. Cookie dough was more chocolately than I'm accustomed to but it fast grew on me especially with added toppings. You get one free sauce and topping per cone. Nutella and pretzel crumbs made for a downright addictive flavor combination. I also sampled the butter pecan (a touch mild but nutty), and blueberry cheesecake (very tasty, just sweet enough). Out of both types of cones on the night we were there, ended up in a boring cup. I was impressed with the serving size of a single $3 scoop. It easily satisfied two adults after burgers next door. The area where you order has issues. It's a tiny corner of Birra Birra pizzeria. In line you are dodging restaurant servers or uncomfortably being bumped into by the folks behind you. There just isn't a lot of space and line bunches up with no clear area to pay or pickup. It has no flow. And the sampling, ordering and paying process is inefficient and painfully slow. Oddly enough you can order both inside or at the small window outside. Sampling was only happening inside. It's as if this ice cream corner was a poorly planned afterthought later crammed into the building plans. I hope some time will help them sort out a better process. Another glaring issue came up after ordering, where do we sit? The rocks around the fire pit were an okay option, but too far away from the flickering fire to warm us on this cool Spring night. We ended up taking it to the car. Chisolm Creek needs to provide more general use tables or benches, possibly over looking the lake? Be prepared to stand around. Anywhooo, so there are issues beyond the ice cream that cost them a star. But the ice cream itself is excellent and value can't be beat! I cannot wait to try more. read more

OH BIBI! This ice cream is delicious. It's light and airy, almost like a whipped gelato. For the quality, one would think that it should be much more expensive than it is. It's a heckin' steal, especially with a free choice of topping and sauce on your scoop. They have toppings galore and I have a hunch this would be a real winner for kiddos. Also - Chisholm Creek has a cool little playground for kids nearby if you need a place for them to expend the consequent sugar rushes. When we stopped by around dinner time, the line was out the door. The employees were a little flustered and it was a bit of a hot mess getting our orders. There isn't much standing room inside. This is definitely a grab and go type of ice cream place. Oklahoma isn't the best place to stand outside eating ice cream, but the ambience of the area is quite nice. HUGE portions for SO cheap! I ordered a double scoop, with ganache sauce & two toppings, and it was $5! I absolutely love ice cream! I wish I could have it every day! When I heard Bibi's was opening I immediately added it to my list. It is so delicious. It is attached to Birra Birra in Chisholm Creek in Oklahoma City. You can go to the back of the restaurant and receive your ice cream from the walk up menu or go inside. I think this is a great addition to the Chisholm Creek area! So far I have been twice and only tried the strawberry because I loved it that much the first time! The homemade waffle cones are incredible and I am not normally a waffle cone person. Crunchy and soft all at the same time. This place opened just in time with summer quickly approaching. I had the blueberry cheesecake flavor, I don't see anything different about it other than the fact that it was really sweet for me. The cashier was very rude, I asked how much is the toppings and he replied in a tone of irritated manner of 50 cent per topping. Not just that though, his attitude was rude overall through the whole checkout process, and did not say thank you at the end. He was rushing us after we paid as to get us out of the way for the next customer. There wasn't even a line, only a group of few people behind us. I have been going to this place for over a year since I moved to this area of OKC. It's the only place that serves vegan ice cream that I love. It tastes so silky and it's delicious. I have even brought many friends and family in here because it was so good. I hadn't been in a month or two but it's been hot so I wanted to treat myself. I go in and the nice guy at the counter greets me super sweet as always. I ask for the vegan chocolate and he informs me they unfortunately no longer serve either the chocolate or the vanilla vegan ice creams. The only vegan flavors they had were a raspberry or a lemon sorbet. He let me try them, and they were gross. To sum up, I'm extremely disappointed at the change and removal of the only good vegan ice cream I've ever had. They haven't even updated their online menu. The first time I tried Bibi's was through Birra Birra's soft opening. We were told only a few flavors of ice cream were available, which was not a problem. The issue was that a couple of us ordered the same thing, and we each received a significantly different amount of ice cream. I thought that was just because of soft opening kinks. Well, my family and I went to Bibi's on a separate occasion, and not only were they out of several of their flavors, but the same thing happened. A single scoop for one of us filled the cup while another had a cup that looked like they used a tablespoon to scoop out the ice cream. We showed them the difference and got a less than friendly look by the worker who first served us. Another employee was kind enough to give us more and apologized for the clear difference. I love ice cream, and I really wanted to like this place. While the ice cream is good, the inconsistencies are not worth a special stop for Bibi's. read more

Their ice creams have a very smooth velvety finish, great flavors and their waffle cone is my favorite part. Love that it's a good price, no up charges for toppings and cones. Bibi's used to be a solid 4.5 for me, but they have changed their menu and now they really don't have anything that sets them apart from other places. They used to have peanut butter sauce. We had our eyes on this place from across the pond at Uncle Julio's, so we made a special trip last eve. Wish we hadn't. The problem is that the servers (last night, all the guys) don't know what they're doing, are epically slow, out of basic liquid toppings, dragging things off a shelf "over" your cup of ice cream, and neglecting to return a patron's credit card (Luckily, we watched where the patron went and tracked him down in a nearby restaurant.).
