Chaos and more ...Bad staff and worse management .I had the worst experience with this shop…read more Incompetent, irresponsible , they know nothing about professionalism and customer satisfaction I rent a bike for one day that I prepared since 2weeks .. at first they forgot to include Extra tube with the bike after they insert the extra tube and other necessary accessories but they forgot the air pump ... guess what on a rainy day I was in the middle of no where when I had a flat tire I stayed there under rain for almost 2-3 hours trying to get some help .. all this because of the guy at Laurent cycle who because he is reckless and irresponsible forgot to insert the manual air pump with the kit... when I returned the back the bike and told him my story he didn't look at me he just put his eyes somewhere else .. Guys I can tell you that this shop staff and the manager are IIC , ignorant, incompetent, careless If you are a good athlete... it doesn't mean that you will be a good shop manager ... you failed me and you spoiled my day and more you don't care .. Flat tire in the middle of no where , it was supposed to be an amazing day but because of the recklessness of Laurent cycles shop staff , it was a very bad day waiting help under the rain !!! Why ? Because they were irresponsible and they forgot the air pump

They have a changing room and you can leave your street clothes there while you ride. I was even given a fresh café at the end of my ride! So good. What a great place to ride. And, for what it's worth, I speak almost no French. I can say "please" and "thank you," and not much more. I was nervous about that.

So, I found Paris Bike Company and set up a ride with Sam, sending him the dimensions of my bike in advance. The original day we'd arranged for was rainy, and he was super-flexible about postponing it a day or two. Once in Malakoff, I easily found his shop and Sam waiting for me. Sam is super-chill and isn't there to kick your butt, but rather lets you set the pace according to your ability (I discovered I'd been eating and drinking a little too much on my trip, so being allowed to set our pace was a good thing). We set off on our ride, him explaining some of the local rules of the road so as to make the trip a safe one. We rode out to Versailles and back, about a 50km round-trip. During the trip, Sam was a great tour guide. If it hadn't been quite so chilly (and I'd been a little better dressed for the cold), I would have gone out for longer. Although it cost a bit to do, having a private two-hour tour of the countryside was one of the best things I did in Paris!
