This is probably because of the location out to the beach. I absolutely love that kind of place where everyone is welcome and Le Kaff most certainly is that place. Plus, their ice coffee, man. This coffee bar is a "branch" of the original Copenhagen Coffee Lab in Boldhusgade, across the parliament, and they take their coffee seriously. I got here on one morning in December with a mild hangover after the office Christmas party the night before. Looking for a quick fix instead of having to prepare breakfast for myself, the boyfriend and I headed here on a Saturday morning for coffee and a quick bite. As I previously spelt out, my flat white was excellent and my breakfast bun (morgenboller - sliced with butter and cheese) was very nice. The boyfriend was very happy with his cappuccino and a giant croissant.  This place is very cosy, with great service. The seats were not many, so sometimes it gets full in here, but without the noise and the crowd. I do notice that people come and go, to get their coffees away, but there are locals like us who linger a bit longer for a talk or just to read newspapers. It's exactly the kind of local hangout that we need more in Amager.
