I wish there were more Joe & the Juice locations in the US! I've had my share of drinks in the NYC area so I was excited to try some in Joe & the Juice's original home (Copenhagen). Even though this was in an airport, I was happy with the quality of my go-to, the Energy Shake. The shop was clean and well taken care of (maybe this is just a Europe thing), although like any airport, it was on the louder side. Thank you, Copenhagen!

Joe & the juice is my go-to place if I want to grab something fast and semi-healthy. I'm not a huge fan, but somehow this place ends up looking like the best option compared to other places. You can just quickly grab something to go on the way to the gate. You can select gluten free bread for the sandwiches, if they have not run out which too often seems to be the case. The avocado-mozzarella sandwich is very good! Based on experience from other places of the same chain, the 'Joes' behind the counter often seem a bit arrogant and more interested in looking good than serving customers. This terminal 3 juice bar has quite decent service compared to other locations. So overall a good place if you like fresh juices, but don't expect too much otherwise.

My sister kept telling me how the Copenhagen airport is best known for it's food so needless to say we were excited when we had our 4 hour layover here on the way home. Unfortunately we did not get that experience. With the amount of stores in the airport you would think that there are good places to eat. Each place we thought may potentially be good had awful reviews so we settled for Joe & the Juice. I swapped the avocado in my sandwich for mozzarella and they charged extra. The sandwich also had chicken. Overall it was OK. It wasn't very filling and a small portion. If possible, just eat outside the airport.

Not your typical airport coffee shop. As you can see they do latte with an artistic flair. Worth a stop in the Copenhagen airport!

I have been eating Paleo for 3 years and it's hard to find convenient places while traveling. This…read morecafe makes it easy since EVERYTHING is paleo! The commitment to health and the paleo lifestyle is what made me give it an extra star. If it was a regular cafe, I would not recommend. I ordered... Open face chicken wrap: 4/5. It was a large portion and tasted good but not great. Not memorable. Could have used more pesto. There was A LOT of almonds and avocado - more than a reasonable meal should have. Seed bread: 5/5. Very delicious and fills the craving for real bread. Would have been better heated up instead of being served cold from the fridge. Location: I tried to visit one evening at 6pm because their online hours were listed as being open til 7pm, but they actually were already closed. There was another customer in front of me who had also read the incorrect information and we were both turned away. Otherwise the interior is nice and comfortable but a bit messy with dirty dishes left on tables and not cleared within a few minutes. The kitchen looked like a mess with smoothie juice on the floor. It looked like the blender exploded.

Makes you feel healthy just walking by, what with all the low carb / healthy juices / raw foods hanging around (beginning to think this was a strategic move). Fairly cheap and easy dinner of a chicken wrap (the wrap is made out of egg and coconut flour) and a beet/celery/carrot juice and this girl is a happy camper with a happy belly. A fantastic alternative to other comparable meals in the area which are twice as expensive and ten times as unhealthy. It's a damn shame that neither the Palæo in Torvehallerne, nor the one here on Pilestræde, are close to my house. I would probably come here daily, if that were the case. Pro-tip: they sell low carb pastries here, like coconut muffins, nut breads, and various other paleo friendly snacks if you need a treat on the run and are trying to resist visiting Lagkagehuset.
