Mr. Kotarski & staff are A-1. They returned all of our calls in a timely manner. In our…read moreconsultation with Mr. Kotarski, he patiently guided my sisters & I in a step-by-step process of guardianship for my brother. He even answered several follow up questions (calls). He is concerned about equipping you with the tools to help you navigate your sensitive family matter without breaking your wallet. We felt seen & heard. We got more than what we paid for.

This review is long and long overdue because every time I started to write it I would cry. If you…read moreask me how I found Attorney Michael Kotarski I would say I Googled and among all the listings for "family", his was the one that indicated values that I needed to connect with in a time of conflict, confusion, uncertainty. Personable and professional! Respectful and compassionate. An active listener and resourceful. What started out as a call for help with affairs for one parent ended up being a call for both parents. I had a plan for where to start, to be of intellectual assistance to two vulnerable people I love when we hung up. The question I realized is not "what do I want to do legally" but "what do I need to do" and Attorney Michael Kotarski was a great navigator with an impactful response. Light in the darkness! Thank you for responding Attorney Kotarski to my call, and for being a part of this faith in action plan for health, healing and restoration as God's will is being done for our beloved. He helped me and I "feel better, so much better" since I followed the Spirit and made that call! Call Attorney Kotarski with expectation that you will have a valuable use of your time and will get help. Reverend Leslie

Now that my father passed away, out of state, and Mom has moved into Macomb County, she needed to update her paperwork as well, into Michigan Law, and highly recommended Buzz. In Mom's words, "he organized things really well and explained everything so I understood". There was no pressure to go down a particular path. Buzz does take the time to explain as much as you want explained and gives you whatever level of details that you want. He will explain what happens if you do "this" as well as what could happen if you do not. We found him easy to deal with, punctual, and efficient. I do not like sounding as such a fanboy, but there was nothing to complain about. Disclaimer: no compensation/service was offered for this review in any way, shape or form for this review.

Putting what you can afford in place now, with a plan to grow in the future as your needs and budget increase, can provide the right mix of preparation and cost savings. Getting older should be a celebration of a life well-lived. Unfortunately, this much-deserved retirement into the “golden years” is not the reality for some seniors. Older adults may face a wide range of issues, from healthcare needs and long term care planning to retirement funding. Elder law is a specialized area that crosses over many different legal fields, including estate planning, disability planning and estate probation. An elder law attorney serves as an advocate for affected seniors and their loved ones, helping to navigate their specific challenges.
