Many years ago 2008-2009 was my first experience with the company & the owner, Ryan Klenk. I had a full vehicle wrap installed on my new van. I also had new logos & business cards created for my company with the understanding that I wanted final, reproduceable, high quality copies of the artwork for future advertising. Even though they missed the deadlines for completion, I never received that artwork as promised nor the first clean pictures of the work performed, I was still happy with quality of work & looked forward to future business with the company & owner. That experience & the first after that (a matching trailer wrap, graphics on a new car [2013] & matching business cards) were good, quality was great, communication was acceptable, cost was reasonable. However, the company, communication & quality took a drastic downturn for the future work with the company. [2015-2016] I wanted to have another truck done with a full wrap & my original van rewrapped with different colors. I also ordered matching business cards (7 different designs!) for the vehicles, again with the understanding that I would be receiving copies of my artwork. My previous van wrap lasted almost 8 years with no issue & the trailer is still good. I was told prior to approving these new wraps, they switched to a higher quality vinyl wrap material than previously used for my previous projects & that there was a 1-year guarantee against cracking, fading, peeling, bubbling on the material. The entire process was an awful experience. As a repeat customer who had only praised and referred many other clients to them for business, I expected at least the same level of service if not better. Instead, I received terrible service. It took literally months of emails & unanswered phone calls & messages to create the design for the new vehicle. Heather, the receptionist and graphics artist was very difficult to work with. She seemed very grumpy, unresponsive, irritated & uncaring throughout our communications even though I was nothing other than polite. Several times I requested to talk to the owner, Ryan, as I had done in the past, because we had a history and worked well together. Never were those requests granted. Nonetheless, we continued hammering out the designs and logistics of the projects. Finally settled on the design for the truck which was to include perforated vinyl for the windows on the topper. Scheduled a date for dropoff & pickup of the truck. The truck, crucial to my business, was not completed until almost 2 weeks after our scheduled completion date. When I arrived with my van for the re-wrap & pickup of the newly completed truck, the owner was not even there to meet me. To my dismay & utter disappointment, I immediately noticed that they wrapped the windows in solid vinyl, completely blocking all visibility out the side & rear of my entire truck & making the vehicle extremely hazardous to drive. When I pointed out the problem to Heather, I was told, "We made an executive decision..." & changed it to solid because it looked better & was easier to line up with the rest. Completely unacceptable & not their decision to make, but I had no choice but to take it as it was. Already 2 weeks overdue & I was already there with my other vehicle waiting for it. On top of that, the wrap quality was far inferior to prior work. They ignored some of our other agreements such as removing existing stickers & factory decals before wrapping, just like they ignored the perforated vinyl. Instead they just covered the stuff making the wrap look inferior & causing future cracking. There were many bubbles & long stretches of improperly installed wrap along all of the trim, roof & other components of the exterior of the truck. The Design Company in Standish Michigan has the worst communications & customer service I have EVER experienced. No reason to believe their quality has improved & matches their communication...TERRIBLE. Consumers BEWARE & know that there are many other better options available.
