My experiences have ranged from temporary relief to not being able to move when I left an office. For the most part I look at chiropractors as a band-aid; I'm not willing to get surgery or stop doing stupid things and risking injury, so I will constantly hurt myself. Recently I have been on a road trip with my partner and dog and found myself in Crookston Minnesota with back pain worse than I have ever experienced. My wife tried to convince me to see a chiropractor, but my city prejudices cause me to scoff at the idea of seeing a doctor in a town like Crookston. After not being able to get out of bed for four days, I finally acquiesed and went to see Dr Theedle. At first I was a bit put off, as he appeared to be younger than me. I don't know why this bothers me when dealing with professionals, but nevertheless it does. However, his open, down to earth personality very quickly won me over and I relaxed. Whereas every chiropractor I've visited in the past asked minimal questions, lectured me, cracked my back, and then sent me on my way Craig (as he told me to call him) took a more holisitc approach. He asked a number of questions, explained (using a diagram) what he thought my problem was, massaged me, stretched me, and then cracked me. After explaining everything he had just done and showing me a couple exercises to do at my own, he sent me on my way- informing me that he hoped to not see me again. Never in my life have I left the office of a chiropractor (or any doctor for that matter) feeling as good as when I left the Aspen Chiropractic Clinic. In the three days since I've been there, I've been able to ride my bike, move without pain, and run around with my 10 and 3 year old nephews. This guy deserves some serious recognition. I want to ride my bike around this tiny city and recommend this man to anyone walking with any kind of pain.

He once told me that he isn't doing his job well if you need to come back. Granted, there are obviously special cases, but overall he provides his clients with easy, RELAXING chiropractic adjustments and stands behind his work. Everything he does is fluid and precise. I would and have recommended him to all my friends and go back any chance I get because you leave feeling like you have just gotten a massage. He even went so far to tell me that if I am ever at home (not crookston) or anywhere else in the country and need a chiropractor to call him and he will recommend the best he knows of in the area or will help me find someone who has good recommendations from his peers. I have never met anyone in the medical field that is so honestly good hearted with the desire to truly benefit his patients. You can go to him with the intentions of feeling better and staying better for a decent period of time. If you don't, call him up and I'm sure he would love to make it right for you. Maybe he should consider different economic populations when he gives his presentations. Are there no available "quality" supplements for people on fixed incomes?
