Frustrated, I decided to hire a surveyor in 2022, both to be perfectly sure where the boundaries of my property lay before putting up barriers, but also as a form of insurance against potential future disputes. I picked Perfect Point Land sight unseen and requested a quote. The quote I was given was reasonable, and we made an appointment. I don't remember what the actual quote was (this was some time ago), but it wasn't anything crazy for this type of job, so I agreed to it. PPL came out to the property right on schedule and early in the morning. When the survey was done, a stake was placed in the garden, and in concrete areas, an X highlighted with yellow spraypaint. I spoke with the members of the team and they explained where the boundaries of the property were in clear terms. But of course, I needed a hard copy, so I was emailed both a .pdf and given a nice print by snail mail, free of charge. (You can see copy in gallery, with information blanked out.) I don't know what the rates are in 2022 with inflation, but if you currently have issues with neighbors and such, it's worth every penny and it's one of those things you should have done anyway if you own property.

Everyone we spoke to and met were such a pleasure to deal with; empathetic to out situation and willing to work with our very tight timelines. I also just received a digital copy of the survey (hard copies will be mailed) and it looks better than some other surveys i've seen. I'm not in the habit of giving negative reviews, however, AAA Group has left me no choice. I hired…read morethem to do my land survey and initially gave them (the workers) a positive review for being prompt and courteous. I didn't realize that the survey might be incorrect until the builder next door built his foundation encroaching on my land. After looking closely at the survey, I saw what appeared to be a mistake. I sent them an email to that effect, asking them how they arrived at their conclusions. I was rudely told that the surveyors are intelligent and know what they're doing. I responded that if I am diagnosed with a disease, I want to see my biopsy and blood results, and still want to know how the diagnosis was arrived at, in spite of the fact that the doctor is very intelligent. I asked again and asked if the historical records for the house, which is 100 years old, were accessed and, if so, how I could access them. I was then told that I didn't pay enough to get that information (I was charged the typical fee for a survey... not less than any other quote I received). I asked how much they would charge to come back and redo the survey just on the side of the house in question. I was given a price of $250. When I agreed to the price, there was dead silence. No response. I let them know again that I was interested but they did not respond.
