I called the main number to book an appointment however they just tell you somebody will call you back to make an appointment. 2 days later I get a call however I had already repaired it myself as I couldn't wait. I called again this last Tuesday as I wanted my microwave hung under my kitchen cabinets. Again no answer so I left a message. I left a message everyday for 3 days until I finally got a call back. I was told hanging a microwave was a 2 man job and I needed to pay extra for the second person unless I wanted to help. I said I had no problems helping and I was told someone would contact me to book an appointment. It has been 6 days and I still haven't received a call back and I hired someone else to do the job. Very unprofessional.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!…read more Force One Contracting was referred to me through a referral agency. I dealt directly with Anthony, the owner. He was very nice and professional, until he got my money. I hired him to build a room in my basement. The room was 12X17 feet. I gave him $5,000 upfront, which was suppose to be for materials. The first day he arrived late, took some additional measurements and left for the day. Day 2 he came with 1 worker and some materials, they worked for approximately two hours and left. No one showed up at all day 3 and 4 or called to let me know they would not be coming as planned. Day 5 Anthony arrived with 1 worker. They worked for approximately 4 hours before being done for the day. Later that day Anthony texted me that the framing of the room was completed. When I went into my basement to see what had been done, I saw that he did not use 2x4's and some of the stud spacing was more than 30inches apart. I've had some work done before, years ago, not by this company and what I saw didn't look right. I later learned that building codes and industry standards require spacing of 16 to 24 inches. I confronted Anthony about this and he eventually agreed to rip out the framing and redo it properly at no cost to me. No work had been done while we were trying to resolve that issue. He said he would be at my place the following morning to get started. He did not show up. I have not seen anyone from Force Once Contracting since the day the framing was done. Since he wasn't doing the work, I asked Anthony to refund whatever was left of my $5,000. He told me there was nothing left and repeatedly insisted he spent it all on materials that were already in my basement. The only material in my basement was some drywall, baseboards, one package of insulation and the wood for the framing. I priced it all out myself at Home Depot and the total including tax was under $1,000. I never got any of my money back. I am out $5,000 and all I have is some framing that needs to be ripped out. Avoid this company!

BEWARE OF ANTHONY!!!…read more Anthony of Force One Contracting, North York, seemed very polite, professional and friendly at first and gave a reasonable quote to renovate my shower. Once he was given money to book the job and further money for materials (the Friday before he was supposed to start on the following Monday) the excuses started: back problems, spent day in hospital, on heavy meds, moving, the dog died, out of town, further back problems with surgery needed, mom had stroke, mom is dying!!! When I asked for money back he insisted he will now do the job. At this point I had already given him close to $3,000 so I let him go ahead. He sent out a tile guy who made a disaster of the shower. The tiles were not lined up, some deeper than others, not in a pattern!!! Worst of all the water after a shower would not drain, but pooled beside the drain!!! Unfortunately, I paid junk remover to remove tiles because he couldn't do it due to his back issues. I paid a second plumber he sent me to lengthen a pipe which turned out to be too short once the tiles were on. He insisted, he will deduct these from final payment! He didn't! In fact he didn't complete the job! I am still stuck with this incomplete disaster because he can't work now because he has to take care of his dying mother! Meanwhile he recently posted from Costa Rica on social media. He is golfing and horseback riding (with back problems and he left his dying mother?) Again he posted from Santorini, Greece! He's having the time of his life on my money and that of other unsuspecting people! DON'T BE FOOLED BY HIS CHARM! DON'T HIRE ANTHONY!!!
