I called again to ask for an estimate because I filed a small claims against the owner to have the tree removed and I know an estimate will be required. When the owner called me back, she raised her voice and said she refused to get her company involved. Even though an estimate isn't a binding contract, she said it would drag them through the mud. I've never had someone react this way. I ended up hanging up on her because she was so rude and unprofessional. I didn't sign up to be lectured nor do I need to let someone berate me! She acted like I was 5 yrs old. Said I should put myself in her shoes and she used to work for a law firm. Ok? So have I. An estimate isn't binding. And I'm taking legal action. We did some research and had True Tree Masters come out to give us a bid. Steve, the owner I believe, came out. We liked him so much we didn't bother getting other quotes and hired them the next day. They were able to start the next day, which was great! The crew was early both days, and they are knowledgeable and careful in their work. Sometimes it is stressful hiring a company, because you always talk to one person at first, and you agree on all kinds of things, but the people doing the work don't always know all the things you needed done. Do not fear here: Steve was on-site both days to supervise and help out his crew! That was very nice to see! The workers did an amazing job and you can see they enjoy their work. We also very much appreciated that they take away all branches. They used a big wood chipper on site to chop up everything and take it away. That was a big deal for us as well and we were super happy for that!
