This place is great. We saw that there were new owners, and we decided to stop in for an afternoon…read moreof painting. Sarah and Summer were so welcoming and friendly. We had stopped and got some food before heading over, and they more then accommodation with us eating and painting. There were so many great options to choose from, from small, easy pieces to large, detailed pieces and everything in between. We had lots of great conversation, as there are many tools and paints to choose from. Have a question; both ladies were great at answering all the questions. There was plenty of space; the building was clean and was bright and cheery. We had a great time, and we will be back again for some more fun. This is a great place to host a party or a ladies' night; even kids can get involved!!! Definitely recommend coming here for a great time of creativity and fun!!!!

I love this place! I did the paint a long class here, and it was just awesome! I've never taken a…read morepainting class before. So, I'm going in totally blind. The first one I did was a tree. It looked VERY daunting. Two hours later, my piece surprisingly came out pretty nice! And, I liked it so much that I did it again! I went back to do a lighthouse. I believe the instructor's name on this one was Karen for the lighthouse. That was a tough piece. Karen took a lot of time with us. It was a two hour class, and I had no idea that it had already been three hours! She was so nice. In the end, I was also pretty satisfied with my lighthouse. :) Participants made an evening out of the class, too. Groups went together, and on the lighthouse class, I went on a Saturday night, several people brought wine and snacks. Lots of fun! The two pieces I did made for very nice Christmas presents I gave them to a good friend with whom I did a fall trip with that had the trees with the red autumn leaves and lighthouses. She loved them! I can honestly say that I am hooked! I am definitely planning to go back. There is another lighthouse piece that I'm wanting to do when they feature it.

Located off Old Lexington Rd…read more I come here mainly for the outdoor paved walking trail, free of course. I use to play tennis here but the courts have been removed for a parking lot and relocated to Melvin park. The walking trail is mostly in the shade and amongst nature. The amenities listed are 53,000 square foot community center with full gym, 2 racketball courts, fitness area, indoor walking track, and meeting rooms. Six athletic fields, picnic facilities, playgrounds, 27-hole disc golf course. As far as gym equipment goes it is minimal, the basketball courts take up most of the space inside. Racquet ball is at back below the cardio machines. There is a dance studio on lower level for fitness classes. The membership is reasonable $20 a month or $50 for 3 months but it does not include the fitness classes, those are payed separately which I think is a big minus. IMO would use the gym during winter months mainly for cardio. I do like they offer a variety a youth sports like track, golf, taekwondo, cheer, flag football, and more. For long term membership the YMCA seems better option for the nationwide availability and pool use. Local to Chapin this is enough.

Also, depending on the day, you might have to be on high alert for disgolf freissbies that might be flying past you. They even have signs that warn people of that. My thing is that it is not super safe. Why would you want to have walking people and flying things in the same area? The inside is nice and celan and there are lots of thinfs todo iff you are a child or a senior citizen. There is hardly anything for adults to do, like in my old state, there were adult teams for soccer, basketball volleball, dance, and workout classes alot of them. Here its a juft a few and that is it. I might come here on different occasions, but very much for kids and their parents, for sure, with the classes.
