The space is very nice and serves various purposes. The inside downstairs has an industrial feel and the up stairs has a more administrative feel. The facility is named Augusta's own famed Opera singer, Jessye Norman. If you ever get a chance to visit for an event or for a youth camp, please do so.

At the end of each month they hold a jazz recital, held by an adult jazz band, the setting has some nice basic seating and up until recently they used to sell wine to offset costs and actualy had heavy hors' deuvres, but they seem to be slowly growing as they now are lookin got get this done by a outsid eparty . But back to the school the price to listento great music is cheap(5.00in advance and 7.50 a the door ) MASSIVE attraction they can charge 20.00 and its still wel worth it, you listen to a good 2 hours of great selections in jazz, with nominal food and drink fees, this is great for the visitor wondering of the Augusta area is more than just gold, YES IT IS. I was elated with my choice upon walking in and immediately being greeted by the baristas. I didn't catch their names but all three were wonderful and super pleasant. I had some time to burn, so I opted to try an Iced Mocha Latte with Almond Milk. Since I'm a fan of little things, I was grateful for the eco-friendly cup that it came in without the straw...neat little option for an iced beverage. To compliment the latte, I decided to give one of the blueberry scones a try and did a silent dance when on of the baristas asked if I would like to have it served with butter.... uh, yes please! The latte was REALLY GOOD, so I will definitely be back to have that again. It wasn't too busy, as it was around noon on a Saturday, so I was able to grab a table without any issue. Looking around, it's easy to make out that this cafe welcomes the hearts of all artist near and far, as there is art on the wall along with a small selection of art supplies available for purchase towards the back. According to the recent email received, they have paint events, this particular event encouraging participants to wear their favorite sports jerseys (don't worry, I did see the wall of aprons available). Go check them out and enjoy a latte for me! SYOY!

I was not hungry so I just got a iced mocha latte because coffee is life. I am not a mocha fan at all but it wasn't bad. I like that it wasn't watered down, it had a bold and rich flavor. There are plenty of options for walk ins. Canvas, ceramics, wood items. Since it was not an instructor led project we were given detailed instructions that were very easy to follow. The staff set up our area with the canvases we selected and one ceramic project. All the supplies were laid out as well. We had plenty of room to work and chat. My kids joined me: ages 15 and 11 Our artwork did not turn out like the sample, but made for some great laughs and excellent memories. Somehow my beach scene took on the resemblance of a frog or some creature. who knew making a shadow on the water would be so hard. I look forward to visiting again. Staff were kind, helpful and readily available to answer our questions. Wish I had asked more questions. Bonus: you can bring your own drinks/snacks

The class was pretty full. We painted a beach scene with the artist painting the pic being viewable via TV. That was different but welcomed. You can bring your own wine and snacks. We had wine, cheese and crackers. It was really fun! They selected a few folks from a gameplay and they won pictures. Those celebrating were brought on the stage and were given gifts! I will definitely come back here.
