I cannot believe they have someone like this answering their phones. I have to believe other people have complained about her. She is as miserable as they come. Absolutely awful to interact with and she needs to be fired immediately. She is a stain on such a wonderful practice.

Discouraged, I headed home. I received a voicemail later from a different number that I had missed my appointment. The Tenpenny INTEGRATIVE MEDICAL office is actually located in the back of the building. Apparently I am the first person to ever have this problem, but putting this out there for the rest of you. Thankfully, nothing broken, but a torn rotator cuff (surgery later to repair). My visit was around 3-4 hours. Rarely do I go to ER. This is good with easy location and access to freeway.

Which of course I did not. But it was nice to have the opportunity to ask them if I did. The ease of getting in and out of the building is very helpful. They ran every possible test they could on me to try and figure out what was going on-- while the hunt is still a mystery, they took very good care of me by going above and beyond The only complaint I really have is Dr. Koepke, he was extremely rude and dismissive to me, he talked down on me like I was less than him because he's a doctor, he asked me really unprofessional questions and made passive-aggressive judgements towards me. If you ever get him as your attending providers while inpatient, and you are a woman, I highly encourage you to ask for someone else on your care team. Otherwise, my experience was probably one of the best I have gotten in a hospital stay. This hospital really prides themselves on being closely knit with the community, and I really appreciate that.

I understand it is their job to recognize ppd, but it is also important to acknowledge and show compassion when a woman has gone this. Since she was forced to sit in pain, her husband was doing the diapers and feedings. Well apparently when the man looks after the baby, they see that as a red flag. They pulled him out of the room and told him that most husbands don't do that so they are concerned. Go to Fairview instead.
