Marissa also measured, cleaned and cataloged the stones I brought in with me and helped brainstorm how we could put them into the setting I liked. She even looked up pricing and availability of a synthetic green diamond I thought I might want to order. Everything was low-pressure and Marissa and Tess genuinely wanted me to find the right ring. In the end I needed to get home to Colorado Springs to look at the other stones I wanted to include in the ring- and I also wanted to check with some of the jewelry stores in Colorado in case I found something I liked better. Well, I looked at two of the largest stores (Jared and Louisa Graff) and let me tell you that even though On the Rocks is small, they have the best selection and the most unique rings I've seen. Plus their service is absolutely fantastic!! And their prices are better!! Basically I'd be an idiot to shop anywhere else. My ring is in the works and I can't wait to see the finished product! While our vehicle was being repaired we needed a place to park our small camper trailer and sleep. There was a gravel lot between the dealership and Tom Balding Bits and Spurs that the tow truck driver dropped our trailer in. I'm not sure who owned the lot (Sheridan Motors I believe) but we were backed up right to the side of Balding's building. The people there could not have been more welcoming. They were extremely friendly and treated us as if we belonged there. We asked if they had a 120v outlet outside so we could maintain our batteries and Kelly the proprietor immediately volunteered an outlet on their back patio. As stated above we were there for 3 days and nights, plugged in the whole time. Not once in this time were we made to feel as if we were anything but welcome. When our car was finished and we were ready to head out I went inside the store to offer some payment for the hospitality and electricity used. Kelly wouldn't have it. She not only wouldn't accept any money but seemed almost sorry we were leaving. I don't think we could have found nicer people than the ones we met at Tom Balding Bits and Spurs. As I said before, we don't really have a need for their products but I did look around the store and the craftsmanship is spectacular. If you find yourself in Sheridan whether in need of their products or not. Stop in and say hi for Sean and Kelly.

I was in Sheridan for business from Arlington,TX and while I've been In Wyoming the heel of my Ostrich boots became dislodged. I was walking through downtown to eat lunch and smelt leather so walked into to Brian's. I believed his Son first approached me and I discussed the dilemma regarding my boots and most importantly my timeline (hence I need to travel to Portland the next day). Luckily all that needed to be replaced was the heel so I ran to my Hotel to grab my boots and arrived back to Brian's which seemed they were expecting me. The Hospitality and Service was Second to none. I was worried because you do not want to Rush Quality but Brian stayed after to make sure I was given my Boots no matter what and put a special shine to them. Curtain rod arrived fast! After MULTIPLE PROMISED NEW DELIVERY DATES FOR OVER 3 MONTHS, I finally cancelled my order and ordered drapes through another company on 1/10. Their promised delivery date was 1/18 and my drapes actually arrived 1/16, 2 days early! I will NEVER buy anything from FLAKY FY FIBER HOUSE! They have no business listing items for sale on various sites that THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE! THEY SHOULD BE BANNED FROM ALL OF THOSE ONLINE SITES as it makes the sites they are selling on look bad.

There was drop spindles, yarn bowls, loads of pattern and leaning books, projects in kits, all types of knitting needles, crochet hooks, stitch markers, utility holding stuff, and a many classes available by the owner. There is a table there so you can just go and sit while working on your project and chat with the staff. There is even a coffee/tea place across the street!! This place is a gem and I would move there just for it if my husband would let me :) I would highly recommend The Fiber shop to everyone!!
