Like most other DGs out there, their shelves were overfilled and the risers above had towers of merchandise just waiting to be placed on the shelves. Honestly, sometimes the stuff on the risers didn't match the area it should be in and most times it wasn't even on the shelves to begin with. It was like a scavenger hunt when in here because nothing was where you would think it would be. I will have to give them props because there were no carts that I could see in the aisles blocking shopping. Maybe all that media attention via social media got them thinking that carts blocking aisles isn't always the best thing.

I don't know what it was recently, but I made a run going to many different Dollar General stores…read more I was shopping with my dad a lot and he seems to like DG so much that he jokingly calls them 'The Mall' since they are popping up in such odd locations in smaller communities. Since we had already stopped at one in this area and didn't find what we wanted there, we decided to come here to see if they had the item in question before we headed to a big box store. This one was easy to get to but hard to park at. Even though the spots were clearly marked where you can and cannot park, people just parked wherever they pleased. Areas that were meant to allow for easier maneuvering in the lot and marked as no parking, people were parking because they were too good to have to walk a few extra steps. Honestly put up a barrier or something so that no one would park there. Inside was constantly busy. With the constant flow of traffic in the parking lot meant for a constant flow of customers in the store. Not always a good thing in a DG. I mean we all know the aisles are narrow and sometimes cluttered with carts. Like other locations there were a lot of items on the top of shelves, but missing on the shelves where a customer could reach it.

I was told that this location used to be a Giant Eagle Express that didn't work out. DG came in,…read moredid a quick landlord special to the interior and called it a DG Market. Prior to this visit, I had never been in a DG Market, but there isn't much difference from a regular DG. They just throw in some produce and meats that aren't frozen to tack on the Market portion of the name. With them reusing the building they were able to use the space nicely and didn't have to do much with the rest of the store, aisle wise. I thought it was a novel idea for them to add the meat and produce, but overall I wasn't impressed with this location. I know why they put it here was for the college students to have access to something fresh, but it is definitely not a destination for those from out of town. I walked about here for a bit, I was with my family. I didn't see anything that I needed except for a sweet tea that I don't have the chance to get much anymore since I moved. I walked around and didn't see much else. I ended up paying and exited the store.

Was in Ligonier visting a friend, needed to stop in real quick to get items i had forgotton. First…read more you had to walk through a puff of smoke from two employees standing outside ,right infront of the door smoking cigarettes. As i walked in i was overwhelmed by how big the store was,i had no idea where things were, i turned around to look for an employee, there was nobody around,. i walked around and finally found someone to help. She was so sweet and so helpful. I did not get her name but i couldnt help to notice her tattoos. We had a short conversation of how she decided to get 30 Steeler tattoos.. She just amazed me. I ended up being in the store about 20 mins. I could of stayed longer just talking to the tattoo lady. When i left i again had to walk past smoke again with the same two women still smoking.I felt so bad for the lady inside. Working all by herself. Thank you again tattoo lady.
