I have three young children who are growing like weeds, Shoppers World helps me keep them looking adorable without going broke. In the summer they have a cute selection of sandals for girls and boys. Don't expect them to last too, too long (especially with tons of running around and long days on the playground, etc) but the serve its purpose. The have a great selections for the whole family. Actually, I'm going to stop by and pick up a few basics for my upcoming trip. If you're looking for a few pieces to spruce up your living room, they have furniture too. I like the fact that you can get mobile coupons. All you have to do is send a text right from your smartphone and you'll begin saving even more money right away. Don't sleep on Shopper's World or you'll miss out.

What if she had been asleep with it in her room. They did not care they were rude treated me like a thief, I'm 67 year old cancer patient.

Compared to other Burlingtons, this one isn't as large. They carry a variety of options but it didn't seem as well stocked. I found a pair of jeans I wanted to try on. Fitting rooms were not open in the back, but they have 2 up front and the door was unlocked to one of them. A lady working knocked while I was in there and told me to make sure I lock the door after I'm done, so you probably have to ask a worker for a fitting room. The jeans fit great so I purchased them. No one was at the checkout line so it was very fast. I paid $15 for the jeans which was a really good deal compared to the retail price.

I look at him like wtf. He literally had been following me around. When I walked out I simply said I can pay for what I want and smiled and walked out. I swore I would never go in there again. Today I was looking for something to wear for Easter and I broke down and go. Soon as I walk thru the door the security tells me you are on video for your protection....like I can't see the big screen when I walk in. If you don't quit talking to me. He watches me walk to the line , watches me wait in line. I pay for my stuff and as I'm walking out he turns his head. Yeah I've told y'all once before I can buy what I want. Such a turn off no thank you. I will go out of the way to never ever. I didn't even have a purse nothing but my phone. If you are of color so not shop here. They clearly think all blacks steal. Do not go here

I want to recognize Brenda at Macy's in Greenwood Park Mall for truly exceptional service…read more What makes our experience so remarkable is that Brenda had already clocked out for the day when I approached her for help--I had no idea at the time. Instead of simply pointing us in the right direction, she stayed with us for at least another hour and a half to help my son find everything he needed. She sized him for a suit, helped us work through different fits and styles, and stayed with us as we selected a suit, at least six pairs of pants, four or five shirts, two ties, socks, and more. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the entire process. My son was becoming quite overwhelmed by all of the choices, and Brenda recognized that and made the experience manageable for him. Without her help, we genuinely would have struggled to get everything accomplished. Employees like Brenda are what make customers want to return to a store. Staying that long after her shift to make sure we were completely taken care of was far beyond anything we expected. We are incredibly grateful for her kindness and dedication, and I sincerely hope Macy's recognizes Brenda for going so far above and beyond for us. Thank you, Brenda. You made a potentially stressful experience an absolutely wonderful one. Five stars does not feel like enough!

Southern Plaza is showing its age despite some efforts at renovation. There's an intriguing blending together of lifestyle shops, retail, and a few dining options, however, gone are the days when I would start wheeling at one end of the shopping center and keep shopping until I hit the other end. What's here now? Goodwill has a thrift store here along with one of their Excel Center spots (education). Oak Street Health is here along with ComDent Dental. There's a Great Clips and a couple other businesses dedicated to health and/or lifestyle. There's still a Kroger in a side outlot. There's an AMC Theatre on the backside of the shopping center that also has an IMAX. I would note it's an older theater and not particularly wheelchair friendly, however, I still make my way out here on occasion. Harbor Freight Tools is pretty cool. Dining options include El Azabache. There's a Steak n' Shake, Bert & Den's Grille, a Wing Street, and a couple other places. Dining in Southern Plaza used to be much nicer, though for the most part the nicer options have either gone under or departed. The good news here is that accessible parking is plentiful, curb cuts are great, and the overall sidewalk surface is relatively flat and easy for those with mobility impairments. This is open-air, of course, however, storefronts are pretty well protected. I don't stop in here nearly as much as I used to, though I'll still check it out when I'm around. I likely visit the movie theatre the most followed by Goodwill, Harbor Freight, and the Kroger. While Southern Plaza is no longer a destination shopping center, it's right by the highway and easily serves as a pretty decent neighborhood retail center with a strong variety of shopping and dining options.

For me the best part is the food. From a Mexican and an Indian sit down restaurants, to your faster options like Pizza Hut & Wings to Qdoba, you can definitely fill up here. There is also a storage unit, in case you buy way too much stuff, haha. Around the corner is an AMC Imax theater, which I did not know, also belongs to the Southern Plaza Shopping Center.

The area feels artsy and very pedestrian/bike friendly. The restaurants look nice, but not overly expensive or unapproachable. It's funny because when I visit new cities, I tend to gravitate towards the restaurants in these type of areas. On this trip, I ate at both Milktooth and Bluebeard - both wonderful places to eat. I also had drinks at Four Finger Distillery and Inferno Room. It's located really close to the main downtown Indianapolis area. I take my foodie group to this area to dine out a lot. And you can take a nice walk around the area and admire the murals of this area. There are so many, gorgeous and from such talented artists. I often take a stroll before or after dinner to see the murals or peruse through the little shops. One of the big plus points had always been the free parking. Unfortunately it seems to be changing as I have ended up in a couple of paylots lately. I am not amused. So do yourself a favor and double check your parking spot to see if you need to pay.
