She was on top of everything and had some great conversation. The place was packed but she wasn't rushed. (ask about the tattoo on her leg. LOL) Had a nice bottle of Cahors (French Malbec) which was probably the most reasonable on the wine list. We had Escargot, Mussels and finished with Foie gras (excellent and pretty good side).

We had excellent service from the time we entered the restaurant. We started off with the cheese board. The selection they had of two cow cheeses and one sheep cheese were delicious. My husband had the croak, madame and he said it was average, with the sandwich tasting a little dry. I had the French onion soup. I have to state my bias upfront - my favorite French chef in the world is chef Ludo and I have gone to several of his restaurants. I rate every French onion soup to his. The way the restaurant prepares the soup is they put the soup and cheese in the bowl and then drown it in some type of liquor like a cognac or brandy. Then they light the top of the soup on fire, which is supposed to present the melted cheese while at the same time burning off the alcohol. The soup I got tasted so much of alcohol. I could not eat it. And it was a little bit skimpy on the cheese.

I have ordered photos and photo gifts on several occasions and only once has my order been damaged/incorrect, which was promptly corrected. They often have great sales on photo items (30-60% off), so definitely use the app and search for promo codes before ordering. The staffing is hit-or-miss with both promptness and friendliness. I feel like it is often one extreme or another. It is very clear from the reviews and my own experience that the pharmacy itself is the major sore spot of this Walgreens. Having twin kindergarteners who bring home every germ imaginable, we have been here numerous times for prescriptions in addition to flu and COVID shots/boosters. The first time I brought my three young kids for their shots, making the appointment two weeks in advance. We arrive and after waiting 45 minutes, they tell us that they did not have any kid vaccines thawed for use. What was the point of my appointment that could have been referenced and prepped for in advance? We returned a year later for the booster shots, also having made appointments weeks in advance. I even called ahead to ensure they had vaccines thawed and ready. When we arrive, they lost the paperwork and we had to wait a half hour for them to print it so we could fill it out again. We waited another 45 minutes (1 hr 15 past our appointment time) to be seen. The nurse administering the shots was patient and efficient, I just wish they had seen us at our appointment time so that we didn't have (too much) time for our kids to get their nerves worked up. The wait at this pharmacy is always brutal and they are often disorganized upon pickup. They have lost our prescriptions on two occasions and often forget to give us the spoons/droppers, etc. to administer the meds. I have never encountered as many disgruntled pharmacy patrons as at this location. We will likely switch to a different pharmacy for med needs in the new year.

Although I found it to be outside my wallet price point, I really appreciate how Todd and his wife concentrate on mid-century vintage. This come-back era is hot right now and specialization gives them the ability to focus on quality pieces. All items are cleaned and treated - absolutely ready to be brought home. Super high end. I mean, you could eat right off those bright avocado green plates. Here's my two cents on why spot-clean is critical. It might go without saying in this business..but whoa!...presentation and suggestion for homeware use and decor is key. Especially for mid-mod items, the cleaner the pieces, the more vivid the color which just throws you right into back into mid-mod environs. They do a terrific job here. (I mean, do you want to take home a dusty, faded-color, fondue tray which lost its elements that evoke the era?) The whole shop knocks my socks off! Product displays are very well done and you are jolted back in time the moment you walk in the door. The vignettes keep a steady theme and the colors totally pop. Just like they did mid-century. Here is what you'll find: tables, mirrors and furniture, lots of lamps, plenty of paintings, canisters, radios, knick-knacks, funky book ends, lots of owls, plates and bowls and zillions more. They really do pack it in here. And they have so much more to display. I see this really as the showcase boutique for their online shop. Todd told me the story of how he and his wife fell in love with all things mid-mod whey bought their 1960s-something home. Try to catch them on the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month. The shop is only open occasionally. Definitely worth a visit.

I was in awe by the quality and quantity of their retro stock which was all in mostly amazing condition, ready to be brought home, clean, and the colors really pop and haven't lost their unique brilliancy! Very clean store and helpful customer service. Although it was a little over priced, I found a few items I was willing to buy without thinking about the price too much.
