The store had a garden section, lots of toys, some food, cleaning products and much more. I learned today they also have a nice selection of flower stems. Plus, Mom found a huge bag of peppermint hard candy and I found a package of bubbles for my nieces and nephews. Service is friendly but typically slow, with only one register open every time I've visited. But the prices are worth the wait. Stop in as you never know what bargains you might find.

I typically shop for birthday cards, wrapping paper or a gift bag. Bonus, they sell Hallmark cards. The store was organized and clean. The staff have always been friendly. I went with my sister to pick up a few groceries I needed while visiting my parents. They had the isles marked so everyone travels in the same direction. Only problem was....not everyone can follow directions. They were low on pre-made salads but I managed to grab two. I found string cheese for snacking and some coconut toasted Cheerios limited edition. Can't wait to try those in the morning lol. You can find just about anything you are looking for at Wal-Mart. Pet food, home goods, groceries, patio furniture, grills, shoes, toys, electronics, over the counter medication, and sunscreen. The list goes on and on. This is your one stop shopping spot!

I would highly recommend this product and for the price you can't beat it! While standing in line to purchase my items, the customer in front of me had a buggy full of toys. She told me she couldn't beat the price. That's how I found out about the sale. So I brought my parents back today so we could purchase toys for my great niece and nephews. I spent $42, and bought four toys. This is the cheapest I've ever gotten away with spending for toys. And they have brand name toys you've heard of such as Fisher Price, My Little Pony Mickey Mouse, and many more! Apparel is buy one get one 50% off this week. That includes clothes, pajamas, shoes and accessories. What you see on the shelf is all they have as we asked about a male scooter and all they had left were the female pink ones. First, I had to wait on her for a solid 10 minutes in an empty store during a heat wave. I had a lot on my mind. When she finally appeared to assist the sick cashier with a menial task, I misspoke. She was already clearly rubbed the wrong way, and that just shifted her into a different level of rude. She began ignoring my transaction-related questions, rolling her eyes and sighing, put my change on the counter, and spoke down to me. Regardless of whether or not I'm inconveniencing her, even for a second longer, should ~not~ have been evident in this "leader's" behavior. I will do all I can to avoid this conveniently located Family Dollar due to this manager's behavior. I will be be spreading the word. I want her leadership to know. An additional note: I managed to purchase a candle from this person, and it didn't even have a lid. She's not being distracted from quality assurance, it would seem...

I have shopped at this location many times over the years for such things as gas for the grill, paper products and over the counter drug items. On my last visit I noticed a self-checkout register just before the cashier waited on me LOL. I've never seen a self-checkout at any Dollar General so I was pleasantly surprised. You can find just about anything at the Dollar General. And they have some of the lowest prices around. And don't forget to clip your online coupons to save more money. The customer in front of me saved nearly $22 by using online coupons, I heard the cashier say. Not too shabby! Service always includes a smile and a friendly thank you;)
