After being a loyal customer for 6 years and buying multiple pairs of shoes from Big Peach, I won't shop here again. I came into this location; there were at least four associates working. In the 15 mins I was there looking at shoes and walking around, I was never once acknowledged, spoken to, or anything by an employee. Another chapter in the epic tale of my mysterious knee pain. I saw my orthopedic surgeon again and while checking out, he suggested that I get some Hoka tennis shoes / sneakers. I had a chiropractic appointment with Dr. Green later that day and I asked her if she had a specific shoe recommended. She told me yes and said she'd give the info at checkout. When I mentioned Hoka's - she chuckled and held up her foot to show me that she was wearing a pair. I was sold! I drove out to Big Peach just to purchase a pair. My salesman was an absolute dollbaby. Older guy (not OLD - but older in relation to the rest of the folks working there - they looked like highschoolers), can't remember his name but he took his time and explained the merits of each style / model I tried on. Ultimately, the shoes felt fine - but the colors available were just so BOLD! I advised my salesperson that I was going to go next door for a quick bite to eat and I'd also use my phone to check online to see if I could find a plain white pair. He said he would also check to see if he could order a white pair. No luck online and when I checked back, he couldn't get the white pair either. I'm going to chill for a second to see if when 2020 style drop, I'll be able to snag a white pair, otherwise - I'll bite the bullet and buy one of the pairs with the loud, vibrant colors. Don't fuss at me - $150 is a lot of money to spend on something that 'might' improve my knee pain - so I need the shoe to be aesthetically pleasing in case it turns out perform just as well as my other sneaker brands. I liked my experience at Big Peach Running. We were looking to get some new pairs of running shoes. So might as well get fitted for one, right? I came to Big Peach because I heard they had a good fitting experience. And they did! When they do the fitting, they first put you in their neutral shoes. Then they film you running. They analyze your run and get the best shoes for you. They have a treadmill and a track in side the store to film you run. They don't seem to do the test on the treadmill. Instead, everyone seemed to run on the track. That's fine. It works. They use an iPad to film your running. I guess they have some special software or something to notice things about your running style. I'll give a suggestion to the employees: film the running with the windows behind you. The runners would be running away from the window then come back. If you do that, the camera can expose the runners better. Our sales associate filmed us running towards the window, which back lit us. So we were in silhouette and was hard to see. It's okay, I could still see my severe ankle pronation. The sales associate brought us several options for running shoes. We tried them all and picked the one that felt the best for us. They also have a generous refund policy. If the shoes don't work out for whatever reason, you can bring it back for a full refund. You can also save your profile in their system. On Dec. 16, 2018 I had a car crash, but I had already taken up the mantle of wanting to start running, (my manager motivated me because she is an avid runner). Unfortunately after training and doing about five 5Ks I had to call it quits due to knee pain that I had evidently developed from my crash. My manager told me about this place in 2019 but I was still recovering, without a car, you get the jest. As of MLK 2020 I love this place! That did a foot diagnostic, (Do not quote me on that), to determine what type of running shoe I needed. I was blessed to be helped by Colin. I am the type of person I hate it when people just tell me something without providing reasoning as to why they are telling me that. For example, I found out thanks to Colin that not untying your shoes when you take then off can cause them to have back support issues. Has was very through and patient with me. I went through about 4 shoes to determine what I needed. Evidently I have a left foot that likes to curve inwards. Colin used the technical term but even if I could remember what it was I could not spell it, lol. When he first gave me the price me the price of the shoes I nearly fainted, but then I realized he said something very important. A lot of companies will market and sell shoes even though they are not properly designed to help your feet. For example, I have two pairs of Nike downshifts. I had no idea how terrible the shoe really is for your feet. It is basically a basic b**** shoe. It is not intended to really provide relief; just run. It literally says that on the tongue of the shoe too! "Run fast - Just do it." Ugh. I wish I would have known all this before I bought two pairs. They will be my day off shoes from now on, definitely not my running shoes which I did end up getting a great pair of New Balance shoes that make me feel like I am floating on air! It is crazy to me that the layout of the bottom portion of the shoe can have such a significant affect on your ability to run smoothly. What is more is that the pain in my leg stopped. No. You do not understand. I ran a 5K in my Nike shoes before I came here earlier in the day and my left leg was killing me. I ran back and forth in the store with the NB shoes and I had absolutely no pain whatsoever! I truly appreciate Colin too! He is a wealth of knowledge and loves his job! Those are the type of people that I like to interact with because I know that your main concern is my happiness, and as someone who works in real estate, isn't that what having a job should be about at the end of the day? (I guess you could say money too, but I digress). I would highly recommended anyone who is beginner, intermediate, or an advanced runner to come in here and have a diagnostic done. You are not charged for the diagnostic and you are not beholden to buy the shoe right then and there, so it is a win win in my opinion, though, I did buy the shoe and also got some runner socks, (I did not know that was a thing either). I went in here after hearing some good things about how they could test your feet to see how they hit the pavement and check your stride and then recommend a good shoe that would help reduce the wear on your feet. We went in and met with Nate, the manager, and he helped us out quickly and efficiently. We saw how I had fallen arches and she had normal arches. I tended to pronate when I walked and he recommended a good sneaker that would help alleviate all of those conditions and since we were heading out to Disney, it couldn't have come at a better time. After spending a week in Disney, my feet were feeling absolutely fine although my legs were tired as anything! I would have to say that this was the best shoe buying experience I have ever had and I didn't pay a fortune for the shoes like I normally do! This place rocks! read more

So I am new to Georgia so in order to make friends I signed up for the Big Peach Run Club! One of the best decisions I have made! Everyone is super supportive training program is great! I signed up for the VIP package which included a credit for Mizuno shoes unfortunately the shoes really didn't work for me but I was able to exchange them and use the credit to be applied for a pair of shoes for my bf. Awesome store that specializes in fitting you with running shoes that are far superior to the run of the mill cute but not very useful ones you find at the mall. They record your gait and whether or not you pronate etc and then offer you a selection of shoes to best fit you. They also sell inserts etc to further personalize your running shoes. I've been running 20 miles per week for about 5 months now and I wanted to do some research on what kind of shoe would be best for me and also wanted to have a gait analysis done. I visited the store today and was greeted warmly seconds after walking in, even though there were plenty of people in the store being helped. I was approached by a staff member and I regret not getting her name because she was fantastic. She asked questions about my running habits, what I like and don't like about my current shoes, and what I like best in a shoe, etc. Very thoughtful questions I've never been asked. After sizing up my feet, she came back with a pair of shoes for me to try on while she watched my gait as I ran back and forth on the running area designated for gait analysis. I got some great feedback and recommendations on shoes. After trying on all three suggested shoes, turns out the first one she thought I'd like was the best fit for me. I got very specialized attention that was very helpful in my understanding of what I need to look for in a shoe. I also got some really good feedback to some questions I had about compression socks because. I found this visit to be extremely helpful, and my service was refreshingly professional and courteous. Wanted to make sure I was getting a good shoe as I was going on walks/jogs more. I am not very knowledgeable with this kind of thing, but Cadmiel was able to set me up. He recorded me doing a short jog, and could tell what kind of support I needed based off of that. Thought I was going to have to choose a shoe that I would most likely only wear to walks/jogs, but Cadmiel was able to find me a more neutral shoe color that I can actually wear with normal clothes. This is the place to go if you want some good running shoes, or just some really comfortable shoes if you don't ever walk/jog/run. read more

I had heard good things about Big Peach so I decided to bring my daughter in for shoes. I walked in and there were 2 dogs being hyper. I was assured that the dogs were friendly but it turns out they weren't. As my daughter was testing the shoes one of the dogs ran beside her and nipped her! I was shocked and nobody even acknowledged that the dog had did that. I didn't feel like being there anymore so we left saying we needed to think about it before making a final decision on shoes. In reality we left because of the dogs. I will not be returning if there are any dogs there! I was very disappointed that the dogs ruined my daughters and my experience there. read more

I had originally came here with my husband when he needed sneakers. The people were very helpful and patient. I loved how attentive they were that I brought my mom here when she need sneakers and insoles per the request of her doctor. They again were very helpful and took their time with her to make sure she was comfortable with what she was getting. They even trimmed her insole for her sneakers. We will definitely be back. My Daughter (7) and I (39) are running in a 5K race for her school and we've been "training" (mostly consists of jogging for a few yards then walking) in our neighborhood. I injured my right knee about 5 months prior playing basketball and it was still bothering me when we would jog so I figured it was about time to get some new shoes for our race and maybe that would help ease my pain. After researching what shoe would be best for me I found a few retailers that had them in stock and Big Peach Running Co was the closest so we went in for a visit to see what they had. I had seen on their website that they had a service where they would evaluate your foot with a scanner and then fit you accordingly. My wife, daughter, and I all had this done and then they brought out shoes that would best fit our feet, none of which were the shoe I had researched online. Had they not ran me through the evaluation, I likely would have bought the wrong shoe for me, instead I got a shoe that fits great and best of all when I was wearing it and testing it on the tread mill there was ZERO pain in my right knee while I was jogging! My wife has an issue with her right foot (she broke it when she was younger and it has always bothered her since) and her gait(sorry, I know that's horse talk, but I can't think of a good synonym) was a bit off (which they could see during the foot evaluation) causing more irritation on that area of her foot. They fitted her with a shoe that had extra support and she really loves it, when we got home and she put her new shoes on she was raving about how great her feet felt (I wore mine from the get go). When we got home we went out for a test run thru the neighborhood and everything was still great, no pain in my knee and even my daughter commented that her new shoes felt much better while we were jogging. The staff was super nice and really patient with us, at no time did we feel pressured to make a selection and you can really tell they want you to be comfortable and happy with whatever shoe you decide on. While I was there I also picked up a knee brace, they measured my leg and made sure it fit just right, letting me try on several ones and test out in the store to make sure it fit to my liking. I've definitely been guilty of "cheaping" out on shoes before, but having experienced such great customer service and seeing first hand how comfortable their shoes were (and how much pain was eased in my knee) I'll be buying all my shoes from here in the future. Having said that, I felt the prices were really not bad at all, I spent 119.00 (same for my wife's shoes, my daughters shoes were around 65 I think) and these are by far the best shoes I've ever owned comfort-wise (hard to beat those Reebok Pumps I had in 8th grade for style! lol). It's so refreshing to actually walk into a store where people are truly knowledgable on the products they are selling. If you are unsatisfied with your footwear, you owe it to yourself (and your feet!) to check them out. Very, very pleased and highly recommended!!! read more
