There was not a soul in sight when I walked in. I figured they were in the back grabbing parts in this DIY territory. Straight off the shelf it was marked $61.49. The 3M double-sided 1/2" molding tape (.05" thick) I needed near it was not price-labled. I thought, damn, I should've ordered it on Amazon (as no one else in town, e.g. Lowe's and Home Depot, carries this item in stores). I grabbed them both. Then I waited for quite some time to come to the register. Probably too long. Finally a few minutes, in walks two employees. The first asked me if I had been helped. Lol. The wheel/kit came out to $42.96 while the tape was $15.49. My paint store experience was a good one.... I do not remember the names of the employees that…read moreassisted me.... sorry... But , I was greeted and allowed to shop for a paint color with as much or as little help as I dictated. I was able to purchase small amounts of sample colors and that was a wonderful way to actually see the colors on my wall before I bought a gallon... I will use this store as my "go to" for paint supplies in Lubbock. Although my painting project has taken longer than planned, It is taking way longer than I expected. That's OK.... it'll be great when I finish!

Let me preface by saying this, I've only left 1 negative review on yelp my whole life…read more.. I've been into the 98th location more times than I can count in the past 8 years. But since Elizabeth S. Ballard has become manager I can honestly say that I have never had a good interaction with her. I can understand if someone has a bad day once in a while. We all have those. But her attitude is bad every single day time I walk in the door. The best way to put it is that she makes it seem like she not only hates her job, but the inconvenience of having to answer a question is so unbearable that she might not make it out of he situation. I wouldn't think that sort of thing would fly in Lubbock Texas, but I guess times are changing in the "Friendliest city in America".
