I'm an Artist and I was in dire need of a chair that I could both relax in and have the stability to sit and paint sometimes for hours ..So I went online to Big Sandy's Superstore rather than the local one in my hometown because I felt they would have more options for the special chair I was looking for....My mother had just passed away and my dad wanted me to buy myself a gift "from" my mom ..she believed in my talent so my search for the perfect chair began...I was immediately connected via live chat with a sales associate named Ashleigh ...I told her my story and gave her the details of the chair I was looking for ...which wasn't much of a description to be quite honest ! I told her a chair like a computer chair but for lounging, with back support, id like a foot rest that kicks out, ...I said I guess you could say kind of like a guys gaming chair but fancier....and I'd like white but it's not a deal breaker ! So she said she had one in mind but had to see if they could still order it...she asked my price range and I told her...I have her my email and waited to hear back ! A short time later I received an email from Ashleigh and when I opened it I really don't even know how many chair choices she sent because the very first one was THE chair! It was better than I had even dreamed it could be ...She did all that just from my limited details of what I wanted ! And then she even set up an invoice for my dad to be able to print and go pay it at the local Big Sandy's Superstore did to it coming from a trust account it couldn't be done online with a credit card ! So it had to be invoiced 2 times because the first time I didn't know that so she had to cancel that and redo the invoice for me ! WOW ! I LOVE my chair from Big Sandy's Superstore ! I'm currently building an B**" Barn/Art Studio behind my home and this chair will be my chair to sit in while I create..AND Big Sandy's Superstore will be getting more business from me for the other furniture in my studio ! This was my first experience with Big Sandy Superstore. I had been looking online for a new refrigerator for a couple of days and BSS popped up in my search. I used the chat feature on thier website to ask if they actually had refrigerators in stock as all of the other big name stores were out and wouldn't be restocked for another month or more. I received a very fast response from Rocky. He said they did have some in stock and asked what I was looking for. I gave him the details and he was able to give me options that would meet my needs. He said while I looked he would see what delivery might cost. I told him I didn't think they would deliver to me but he quickly replied they absolutely did deliver to my area and it would be FREE! I selected the refrigerator I wanted and Rocky let me know they could have it out to me in just a couple days. I completed my purchase through the website and within a few minutes I received a call from Rocky letting me know he had me on the delivery schedule and I could expect a text the evening before with a 4 hour window for the delivery he also asked if I had any other questions about the model I had purchased. The night before delivery I received a text with the delivery time and was asked to confirm. The day of, I received another text letting me know who the driver was as well as a link to track the driver throughout the day. This was extremely helpful as I did have work appointments to attend early in the day. 30 minutes before it was delivered I received another text telling me they were on the way. They arrived right when they said they would. The two gentleman that came to my house were very professional and followed all of the guidelines for covid just as I was told they would. They were in and out in no time and let me tell you they had to bring the refrigerator up a hill then steps then more steps inside. They were very mindful of my property and home. I couldn't be more please and impressed with my experience from start to finish with Big Sandy. I will definitely shop with them in the future. read more

The service was excellent! Very professional and on time. That being said it was the actual sales experience at the Cincinnati location that was off the charts! I can honestly say "I have a furniture guy now". A couple weeks ago my wife and went looking for a bedroom set and met Dylan Sell, not a stage name I asked. Dylan was very helpful, polite and no pressure. Dylan helped us decide on the king set pictured below. Of course going from a queen to a king we needed a new mattress, enter miss Zella. Miss Zella don't play! She is very good at what she does. She asked us a couple questions and took us to a mattress that was very nice just not us. Seeing how the mattress supported us and probable the expression on my face, she took us to a second that was perfect. Then she told us "by the way it is on sale"! How she knew my middle name was Scrooge I'll never know. Fast forward to this past weekend, our daughter moved out and we gave her our dinning room table. You guessed it back to My furniture guy Dylan. We found a Dinning set we liked but it was higher than the standard height so I had go home and measure the old one, same height so it is out. My wife had eyeballed another table that was a little more than I wanted spend but being the wonderful husband that I am I agreed we would buy it. But wait Scrooge McDuck had to go to one of those other stores where we found a table that caused us to pause. The two sets were completely opposite styles thank God, but comparable in price. So back to Big Sandy for the comparison. The Riverside dinning room set pictured below was the winner thanks to Dylan, again no pressure. Dylan wrote up the order got the delivery scheduled at the same time as the bedroom set to save on an additional delivery fee, McDuck loves a deal. Oh Dylan says I got you a discount on the table. This is the first major purchase I've done with Big Sandy. I purchased a LG WashTower and was able to do the entire order online. All my questions and concerns were handled by Evan via chat initially and then through a couple of phone calls and text messages with him. I can't say enough good things about Evan! He was super knowledgeable and more importantly he was honest and direct with his communication. He made the entire process actually enjoyable! I can't recall ever enjoying a purchase of an appliance! Kudos and a sincere thank you to Evan! My delivery of the LG WashTower was today. I was given a 4-hour window for the delivery, but a delivery ahead of mine had rescheduled so they actually arrived early (and made sure to communicate that as well so it wasn't a surprise)! The two delivery guys were top notch! I know that finding good delivery people is not easy so I have to admit that I was a little concerned with how the delivery and installation would go because the LG WashTower is a pre-built stacked washer/dryer unit - so it is large and heavy (around 350 lbs). My concerns were not warranted however, because your guys were great! Very experienced and you could tell it from the minute they walked in the door. They were not in a rush and took the time to answer all my questions. They removed and hauled away my old washer and dryer, and then they brought in the new one. A couple of the doorways were a tight fit, but they took their time and were very cautious to not bump into anything. After hookup, they tested everything to make sure there were no issues and then cleaned everything up before they left. The entire process from ordering through delivery was top notch. In today's day and age it is tough to find companies to make the buying process go smoothly from start to finish. So thanks Evan & Big Sandy! I ordered a couch online, sight unseen since I couldn't get in to the store because of the pandemic. I paid close attention to the rating of the couch, the description, and reviews. I'm very pleased with the couch- everyone seems to like it. The guys who delivered it were awesome. They couldn't come inside my home, again because of the pandemic, but I had my front door open and they put it at the front door, then one guy very kindly pushed it through as much as he could so I could pull it the rest of the way. The only issue I had, which is why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars, was that I was contacted after my order to schedule delivery. The woman said it would be scheduled for the following Thursday, a week away. I got a confirmation email from her that said I'd get text information the day prior regarding a delivery time. Well, Wednesday came and went without a text. Then Thursday arrived and I heard nothing. I tried calling her back in the number she called, emailing her, called the 888 number for online sales and left a message, for no call back or response. Finally I called the closest store, half an hour away. The guy said he saw my order but there was no delivery date on it. He scheduled it for me, but since the truck had already left and they only came to my area on Thursdays it was another week before I got it. I loved the text updates and tracking for where the delivery truck was, that I knew what stop they were on and which stop I was. It told me when they were about half an hour away, and the delivery truck was right on time. Overall, a very good experience. Except for the one fail by the first person who tried to schedule my delivery. I'm chalking that up to pandemic issues as well, so not too bothered by it. Just wish I could have gotten a call or email back instead of having to call the local store (who wasn't even the store delivering). read more

This is my first experience ordering brand new furniture online. Browsing the website and placing my Order was simple enough. I did have confusing information in regards to the info I was provided after checkout for when someone would contact me to setup delivery. The website said 24/48 hours, nothing different or COVID19 delays posted. So I waited about a week still hadn't heard anything for scheduling delivery. I decided on my own to reach out to support via chat. I must say chat support was very responsive, friendly, and to the point in what I needed to know. I even received an email from a supervisor that kept their promise of when I could expect delivery and responded to me quickly for any questions I had. So the day comes for delivery. I was very pleased with the real time updates on where my delivery was and the ability to prepare for their arrival as I was notified the delivery was getting closer: The tool they provide u actually let's u track your driver who has your delivery in real time which I found to be super cool! Overall the delivery and setup went smooth as butter. All pieces of my order including my free gift of 32" LCD tv were included. The gentlemen who set everything up were polite, professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend ordering your furniture from Big Sandy Superstore, just keep in mind that COVID19 may affect the quickness of delivery. That is the only thing I would change about the whole process, upfront disclaimer that it may affect when you will be reached out to by customer service for scheduling your delivery and actual delivery times. My wife and I visited the Cadillac MI location on a Saturday to look at beds. We have never visited a Big Sandy's before and didn't really know what to expect. My initial impression(s) were good, looked like they had a lot to offer in various aspects of home furniture. We had a gentleman approach us to ask if we needed help, which we replied with the typical "we are just looking". The gentleman went and helped other customers, but did not push any sales at us again, which was respected. When we had decided upon a couple beds that we liked we were able to wave him over. He was very knowledgeable of the items he was selling and was able to answer any questions we had. Towards the end, he informed us of the special they had going (at this time it was anything above $2,000 - $3,000 gets 15% off). I decided to purchased a bed and frame and asked about availability. The store had exactly what we wanted in-stock and it could be delivered in 11 days. I was pretty shocked at this time frame as everything has been very delayed lately. He got us on the books for delivery and threw in a mattress protector for free, out of his commission on the sale. I was impressed with the salesmanship and courtesy I received when shopping here. While it may not seem like much to most (the mattress protector was approximately $119 and the 15% saved us $450), the treatment itself was nice. Thank you to Matthew Keel for your customer service! Since I have not yet received the product - will update after a few nights sleep - the store itself was great and the shopping experience was A+. Big Sandy's came to the rescue when Lowe's could not deliver on their promise. I ordered my appliances from Lowe's two weeks prior, and the day before delivery someone called me and told me they forgot to order my stove. I still had not heard from the third party delivery company to install my dishwasher when i agreed to have my refrigerator delivered by another third party. Well, the third party (Retail Direct) called me the night before and left a message that they will be at my house between 8-12 like I was told by Lowe's when I purchased the appliances. They coming to the next day at 7:15 and said they will be out in 10 minutes. I said I'm at home they said when we when we do be home I said it 8 o'clock like it stated on my contract he said OK I'll call Lowes and let them know. By time I got back home Retail Direct associate called me and said my guys attempted delivery at your property and they sent pictures of your house and said they cannot deliver. I said I told them that I was not home and that I would be there at eight like agreed-upon from what was agreed upon. They told me that they cannot come back out it would be 24 to 48 hours before someone called me and rescheduled. I called Lowes, I told them that if I did have my appliances delivered by 12 today, I'm canceling and going to big Sandy's or Home Depot. I did not live up to the agreement so I went to big Sandy's right after I cancelled my order from Lowes. Big Sandy's delivered in two days. Everything hooked up in a couple hours. The guys were great. Bottom line Lowes is good for hardware purchases not home services go to Big Sandy's. read more

Everything about purchasing from Sandy was a surprisingly wonderful experience! I had been looking for a recliner to surprise my husband with for a while on several different websites including stores more local to me. BigSandy had the best prices on the same exact furniture so of course that's why I initially picked it. Once I placed the order, I noticed I had entered the wrong shipping address because my computer auto-filled in my moms address. I emailed right away and Eva ensured me that she fixed it. Later I changed my mind on which recliner I wanted and the ship date of when I wanted it, Eva was so friendly and helpful and prompt in emailing me back each time. Later I used the chat on the Website to ask about a different one and Leanna was incredibly helpful and friendly and helped me make more changes to my order (I'm the worst kind of customer!). I finally was done making changes and the delivery day came - the tracking link they send you is epic. It tells you where the driver is and when they'll get there which is so helpful. And it was accurate! The two guys that delivered were so friendly, they did a great job bringing it in the house and answering questions, even took the time to show the controls. Honestly after all the changes I made to my order I was surprised and impressed the correct item showed up on the correct date to the correct address! I will absolutely buy from Sandy again and recommend it to my coworkers. Best news is that my hubs loves his new Flexsteel recliner which was $1300 off! read more

Service from the beginnning to the end was superb. I placed my order online initially. I thought I was purchasing a full sectional with chaise and washer/ dryer combo. I immediately received a missed voicemail from a sales representative. Rep advised that I actually purchased a chaise with washer and dryer combo. Thank you so much for the heads up because thats definitely not what I wanted. I called a local store close to closing hours and the appliance rep at the Taylor Road SW location in Reynoldsburg, Ohio was so patient and thorough with correcting my order. I received great communication when my order would be delivered through text and email. I actually responded to the text and they responded back!!! Great customer service. I was told that the time frame would be from 2-6 and the driver showed around 3. Not bad at all. I was even able to track where the driver was because I had to step out the house and pick up my children from school. I sat in my car watching them unpack the appliances. I noticed they didnt get the dolly down. They put both appliances back to back and strap it to their belts then carried both appliances!! Never seen it done this way and I was amazed. The loaders were quick, efficient and professional. Not one piece of packing material was left behind as well. I dont usually give long reviews but because my background is in customer service I can appreciate this experience and will be back soon. Tax season Thank you so much to the entire staff! read more

I have seen some pretty scathing reviews on Big Sandy's service online, which I honestly didn't see until I placed an order for a new dishwasher. This obviously gave me pause and made me wonder if I should cancel my order. I'm SO glad I didn't. I honestly had a wonderful experience. These folks worked with me to find an option for my original order for a Bosch dishwasher that was back ordered until mid 2023 for that particular finish. Sam in the Internet ordering department was very personable and helpful and went out of his way to find a suitable option. Above and beyond that, he was able to match Costco pricing and provide installation and haul away to match their service at no additional charge. I would have had to fight a big box store to do that, as in the past. Gabriel was the one that delivered and installed my new dishwasher today. He was the best installer I've ever worked with, and I'm kind of old and been down that road many times so that's saying something. It was very obvious that he enjoyed his job and was able to get the new unit installed within 25 minutes with the greatest care. He treated the situation like it was his own home he was installing the dishwasher in. Needless to say, I will be doing business with Big Sandy again. It was refreshing to do business with highly capable people again after many years of disappointing experiences. THANK YOU, BIG SANDY!!! Our experience overall with Super Sandy's was great. Chad, the sales rep, was professional, knowledgeable and nice. He did a great job overall when we made the purchase and follow through for help after. David and his partner, the delivery team were professional, quick and kind, the did a fantastic job. The only issue we had throughout this experience was the damage of the dryer on the first delivery. The damage wasn't the problem, not being able to get it here quickly after damaged was the problem. We purchased on a Friday, the earliest delivery was Tuesday, 4 days. Then it was damaged on Tuesday delivery. Called customer service to report, she said they would take the damaged one back, but couldn't deliver until Friday. To me this is unacceptable. We live 35 mins from the warehouse where they are stored. It should have been delivered either Wednesday or Thursday. If your company damaged or sent a damaged product, we shouldn't have to wait 3 additional days due to your mistake. There should be concessions for these situations to ensure those customers are first on the list for next day delivery. Overall delivery and sales team were awesome, I was impressed. I wish customer service would have been better in the reschedule of delivery, knowing we had been without an ability to do laundry for over a week. No sense of urgency to assist in this case, left me disappointed. read more

The whole process, from walking into the showroom, to lounging on my freshly delivered couch, was flawless and painless. Nevin, at the Mt Pleasant store, was a delight to work with. He was very informative and super personable. He listened to my expectations for my next piece of furniture and walked me straight to the one I fell in love with. I was looking to purchase my new furniture in the next couple months and he wasn't pushy or trying to force a deal that day. That made me feel valued as a customer and I eagerly placed my order 2 days later. I chose a delivery day out a few weeks to be able to get rid of my old furniture and I anxiously awaited their arrival. Driver, Sawyer, and his helper, were very professional, prompt, and careful with my home and new furniture. I really enjoyed the tracking feature of my delivery so that I could make sure I was ready (and my dog was penned up) for the delivery. Delivery took less that 20 minutes before my dog and I had a movie on, snuggled up on my proud purchase. The discounts were great, the warranty offer is incredible as I presume I won't have to make any claims and will be able to receive it back as a credit in 5 years, and the service was phenomenal. I will be recommending Big Sandy until the day these couches are retired...and even then, I'll trust Big Sandy for my next furniture purchase all over again. read more

We were looking for living toom furniture. We had an idea of what we wanted in the couch and love seat: easy to clean, comfortable, power recliner etc. We had to look for options that would work well with our 2 yellow labs. They aren't allowed on the furniture but the dog hair does end up on the furniture. That afternoon, we stopped at Big Sandy after checking out 2 other furniture stores. We weren't very optimistic about finding the set for us. We walked in to the store and was casually greeted by Erica. Her smile and demeanor made us feel welcomed and she truly appreciated us stopping in. She asked what we were looking for and pointed us in the right direction. We were left alone to gander and look at the many options, colors and sets of furniture. Erica found us a few minutes later. We did find a set and she answered our questions, showed us the options, and gave us the total price with tax and the current discount right then and there. Because the set we found did not come in gray, she showed us a comparable that was offered in gray. We ended up choosing the first set. There wasn't a sale pitch. Just helpful information based on what we were looking for. You could tell she knew her stuff and was great to work with. I would definitely recommend Big Sandy but only if you ask for Erica because she truly was the face of Big Sandy that day. read more

Big Sandy has all of my business from now on! My husband suffered a bad accident, and I needed a Lift Recliner ASAP. I spoke with 13 other furniture stores, and they were all rude, expensive, and said they absolutely could not deliver for 7-14 days. I contacted Big Sandy, and a gal named Leeanna W. went so OUT OF HER WAY to help me! Not only did I get the lift recliner that I needed, but it was also much LESS expensive than I would have paid any place else! And Leeanna worked me into an already full schedule for the next morning, while texting me the entire time to let me know how close the delivery truck was. The delivery guys were so sweet and efficient. They put it together, plugged it in and showed me exactly how to work it! I was desperate, and these people at Big Sandy actually CARED about helping me! And the lift recliner? Gorgeous chocolate color, easy to use and SO COMFORTABLE that I want one too! It reclines all the way back, and the lift control is awesome. Honestly, because the chair was inexpensive, I didn't expect much in the way of quality and appearance, so imagine my surprise when the guys brought in this gorgeous, high-quality, sturdy lift recliner! I was really impacted by the lack of supply to find a 33" wide refrigerator. After checking all the usual local big box stores (nothing in stock and no timeline as to when one would be available), I took a chance on Big Sandy Superstore that I had seen advertised as having the largest selection of appliances. They had some in stock (limited colors though) but would be 17 days before it would be delivered. Not something you really want to do without for that long of a period but not that bad considering I've heard builders are having as much as a 5 month delay in getting appliances for new construction. Luckily my old fridge was able to limp along during the wait. Was excited to get periodic updates confirming the original delivery date and really liked being able to track the delivery driver as he made his deliveries that day plus he called me about 20 min. ahead. Brandyn and crew were professional, caring of the refrigerator parts they had to take off to bring it in thru the door, efficient in reassembling, connecting the water line I had, and putting the fridge in place. Nowadays, you can't be too certain as to whether the delivery people will be knowledgeable in what they are doing but I was very happy with Brandyn and crew. Nice guys! read more

I was a little skeptical at first to be ordering expensive furniture from big Sandy, as I had never known anyone who has shopped her before. the woman I worked with on an ETA was extremely helpful and fast to reply, and told me about 6-7 weeks for delivery. a few weeks after ordering I emailed asking if there was any order tracking or status updates I could follow and she promptly responded that she would personally look into my order and see if she could expedite it. the same day she emailed back saying our order was waiting on just one chair and she found one to ship and get us our order by the end of the week! incredible customer service, and the order came in faster than estimated! then on delivery day, their tracking system for the delivery is fantastic. we could see where the driver was, how many stops before ours, and an ETA. this was amazing based on past experience where delivery windows are vague and usually span a whole day. when they arrived, to our surprise they built the table for us and in far less time than it would've taken us. they also hauled away all trash! delivery guys were professional and courteous. absolutely incredible experience ordering here and will be a repeat customer. could not recommend more. read more
