The method focuses on very slow and controlled movements to activate specific muscle groups and create a shake, similar to Pilates but also its own thing. I like that every move has a challenge and modification to make it easier, so that everyone can participate in the guided workout! Their 4 for $40 offer for newbies is a great deal (just remember to use them within 14 days of your first class!) and their social media pages have a ton of info readily available. I wish that they were more on top of enforcement for mask wearing for coaches and participants. They do ask you to wear a mask when coming in, but coaches seem to not respect it (pulling it away or pulling it down their face to talk) and this spills over to participants. Some people had it off the whole time.

The machines look daunting but the instructor was super friendly and great at explaining the vocabulary, offering corrections, and pointing out where you should be feeling it. I've never tried another Pilates class that's not on a mat, so I don't know classic from contemporary style, but it offered a well-rounded workout from head to toe. I found the public health practices to be sufficient and the studio was extremely clean.
