I've been a member for over a year, and this is without a doubt the best gym I've ever joined. Why?…read more The people. The space. The vibe. The offerings. The responsiveness. The community. The people who work at Raintree often remember my name, welcome me in, and help with any issues that come up for me. The people who work out here come in a range of ages and body types, and are friendly and thoughtful about helping keep the space nice for whoever is coming in next. The space is well organized into sections that feel private and very functional. The yoga space is very zen. There are a few hangout areas that include couches, or tables and chairs, and feel very home like. The recovery room is quiet and dimly lit. There are several spaces with weights and weight machines and each have their own personality. The track is perfectly located to make it easy to include the sled and/or a warm up or cool down lap along with weight lifting. The vibe is consistent and reminds me of being in a spa. Not hooty tooty, but rather, like I have a rich friend who has invited me over to their gym and is glad I've come over! The gym always smells nice and fresh, is clean and welcoming, and has good music on at exactly the right volume. It's easy to walk around as the paths to places are well delineated. And, I always feel like I belong. The offerings, responsiveness and community all resonate deeply with me. Currently I am focusing on prepping for the DEKA, and Raintree has classes, trainers and the equipment I need to prep for this. I am also working on becoming more centered and lowering my cortisol, and the yoga classes and sound bath class are really helping me achieve better sleep, less stress and more feeling connected to my body and heart than I have in a very long time. The variety of equipment and my amazing personal trainer, Kelly, have helped me achieve so many of my personal fitness goals without getting injured, including a 4 day back pack trip with some girlfriends while carrying 40 pounds. I am currently working with Kelly to compete in my first DEKA and to do a pull up. I will leave you with one last example to demonstrate the extra mile this amazing space goes to to help me meet my personal goals as well as to feel very cared for. The other day I came in and asked Chad how I could measure out 100 meters so I could practice for the DEKA. He told me he would measure it out for me. So literally, I went to my yoga class and he got my spaces all measured out and ready to go!

I don't know if I would give this place three stars maybe 2.5. Sorry but this gym is getting…read moreovercrowded and nobody who works here seems to want to clean shit or even fill the steam room bottle even when it's sitting outside empty. Take a hint people and also maybe pick up trash and hair and all the gross crap that's laying around the pool area and the gym and the locker rooms. And maybe get some air fresheners in the locker rooms they smell like a sweaty a-hole.

If you have been considering CrossFit at all this gym is the place to start. I have been going for almost 2 years now and the gains I have seen in my fitness level and strength is incredible! I cannot recommend these guys enough!

I do not recommend this gym. One of the owners makes many sexually inappropriate jokes, as well as…read moreculturally inappropriate comments. When it's time to vote for best CF gym in Foco, they will hound you about it. They will call you out in class to make sure you have voted. One time I had 2 lacrosse balls that were taped together to roll out my back. The owner was walking by and had a single lacrosse ball. I asked him if I could toss mine and trade him. He asked me "why did you move the ball like that?" mimicking a blow job motion with his hands. I was nervous to ask questions in front of the class because the owner will make fun of you, or in his words it's just "bantering". I asked if there was a way to modify an exercise so it didn't hurt my back. His reaction made me feel stupid and ashamed. His response "well then don't hurt your back". The whole class laughed and then was like "ya Rindi don't mess up". He never helped me. Another member was called "bitch" multiple times by one of the coaches. The words pussy, dick, balls, bitch are used many times by some coaches and one of the owners. I did personal training with him. You never knew what kind of mood you were gonna get with him. I shared with him pictures from one of the gym gatherings and he thought it would be funny to delete me out of the picture. He also did this to a different member of the gym. He laughed about it and showed everyone. He would make racists jokes and try to get others to also laugh along. He always had to win at conversations and would legit argue with you that you're wrong and look it up, even if the facts showed he was wrong. One time I was up late with our sick kiddo and had a 7:30am session and said how tired I was, to which he made a snarky remark that these are the consequences to my actions of choosing to have a child. I can recall multiple others who also had bad experiences. Young girls and high school teams workout at this gym. You would get scolded at if you put equipment back in the wrong place or made a mess. He threatened multiple times to take away the chalk buckets. One day I asked if I could open up the door for some air as we were all over heating. The coach told me how he is going to get yelled at by the owner. There are no windows or working fans. The owner would always complain to everyone about the high electric bill. Even when the owner wasn't physically there, people would comment how he is probably still watching us on the cameras in the gym. He would tell me how he doesn't even like CF for multiple reasons. I confronted the owner about how I was feeling. The owner was giving me a hard time saying how I was in such a bad mood. I told him that he makes me feel uncomfortable and unsupported in the gym. He got defensive at first and then asked me to step outside to talk. I felt threatened and said I would prefer to stay in the gym to talk. He stood outside and kept telling me to come outside to talk. I stayed where I felt safe inside the gym with others present. He took it very well in the moment. At one point he was in tears apologizing. He said he values us at the gym and he loves my son. He said he will do better. He said that the only reason he banters with me and gives me such a hard time is because he likes me and I'm in his bubble. The conversation left on good terms. A couple days later I get an email saying I've been suspended indefinitely with working with him for personal training to protect himself and the coaches. He said to not directly contact him again. I requested a refund for my membership. I paid for a year in advance. I got a discounted rate since I paid for a year in advance and so I told him he can just refund me back at the non-discounted rate. He said a members decision not to utilize the membership does not constitute grounds for a refund. I'm choosing not to go because I was consistently harassed. This gym has left me burnt out, anxious, gaslit and over $800 short.

I love this gym! The…read morestaff are all incredibly welcoming and friendly. The gym itself is large and has tons of equipment to choose from. There is always someone ensuring the floors are clean and stuff is put where it belongs. The members keep to themselves and any interactions are usually short and asking if someone is in the way of someone else haha. I never feel judged here because everyone is focused on bettering themselves. I truly am so comfortable here. The women's locker room is clean and roomy. I love utilizing the sauna after my workouts. Signing up online was a breeze! I chose to check out the Crunch One Kickoff to meet with a Personal Trainer and see what the prices were like. I ended up signing up with Kameron D. and have so far enjoyed it. Unfortunately a family emergency took me away from Fort Collins for about two months, so progress isn't really something I can comment on right now. But the first sessions were great, and I do feel like I'm being challenged and learning a lot. Excited to get back into a routine now that I'm home and it's a new year. To note: right when my family emergency came up, the manager was extremely kind and empathetic and answered all of my questions I had about leaving/returning for the personal training. I am very grateful for the way he handled it. The childcare is such a blessing too! All of the ladies working are so friendly and treat the kids so well and there is so much for them to do! My daughter always has a smile on her face and tells me how much fun she had when I pick her up.
