I will say that if you need the hours for which they are open, go on their website and it will tell you. Google's hours are incorrect, and I had submitted the hours posted on the door to Yelp HQ while my brother and dad were playing pool so that it can be updated to the correct ones. Before I continue, do note that you will need to scan a QR code to sign your waivers when you enter. The location is pretty unassuming, and it's not a very big place. Actually, this place can very easily be passed by if you don't know what you're looking for. You have to park in the back, and if you have issues walking, making the descent down to the front door can be a huge hassle. That said, the games they do have are fun. I will admit, I might have benefitted more during laser tag had the game been explained to me better so that I didn't score a big fat 0. But it does seem like it would have been much more fun had I ever been able to get the hang of it. I didn't let that discourage me in the end though. I played a few good match-ups of air hockey and even played against one of the locals. There was also this 3 vs. 12 game you can play that was a new one to me. I couldn't explain the rules, but it requires a good deal of skill and especially aim. It's one that's fun even if you get nowhere with it. Now for the escape room, you are given a choice of two escape rooms to try. There's an ambulance room and an 80's themed room. Because we were a party of 3, we went with the ambulance, which was a cramped place. For both the escape rooms and the laser tag you are given admission tickets if you want to play. Thankfully for us, the escape room was explained much better. You get 60 minutes to beat the room using the clues given. We did it with 7:33 to spare. We did get to have a free peek at what the 80's room looked like inside and it's a much larger room. If you want to attempt the 80's themed room however, it's recommended you bring a bigger group of people, like maybe a party of at least 5. Before today I had only ever done 1 escape room, and it was one I did (and was actually able to complete, albeit just barely) by myself. The one we did made us really think about what we were doing and forced us to really be careful what we were doing to make sure we got it done. If you can get past the heat and claustrophobias, you're in a good place here. For the staff, these are friendly folk. Actually, the one who was in charge of the escape rooms may or may not have been recognized by my brother from Bible studies. They also do a really good job at keeping this place clean, and they seem to be people that enjoy working with each other. No complaints about anyone here. All in all, a good place to have some good fun to unwind yourself in. It was a good last stop for this trip before I fly back home the next afternoon.

Jill Reeves is the woman in charge of the school programs here and I have had to be in contact with her to make reservations, take payments, and to ask questions. She has always been so kind and quick to respond; and with the quality of shows put on for the kids, you can tell she cares deeply about this program and her job. Before some performances, NPAC will even create a study guide for the students/teachers/homeschoolers and send out in an email. Again, since I homeschool my two boys, this is a wonderful resource and extra step that is greatly appreciated! Some of my family's favorite memories are of taking field trips to see shows here--so we will keep coming and promoting this center and program!

How can I be the ambassador for Yelp in Asheville when I'm not thinking outside of the box of things to review! Cordial and Craft is seriously righteous. Being that I live in Asheville, I attend a lot of weddings. I don't know if that's because something in the air here makes people want to get married, or perhaps it's just this sort of band wagon thing... like, HEY! Our friends are getting married, we should get married! I mean look, I got married! What's even crazier is that people come to Asheville to get married and throw awesome weddings that they can post all over instagram because they look so damn cool and everything is perfect and it's got that wonderful and charming handmade rustic class. So yeah, I think I'm up at about 5 to 6 weddings a year, which is great. But when I spot the bartenders of Cordial and Craft as I approach a wedding reception I'm ready to high five everyone within a 30 foot radius. When it comes to charm, class, and presentation nothing beats the bartenders from Cordial and Craft. I'm having a tough time even figuring out how to communicate just how great they are. You know those pictures you see on pinterest of drinks that make your mouth water, that have been custom designed for the event, with cute straws and beautiful colors? That's what we're talking about here. When you go to a wedding that has chosen Cordial and Craft to provide their bar program for the evening it's basically a sure fire sign that the event planner/bride and groom/venue has put great thought and care into each element of the event. Call them mixologists, call them craft cocktail masters, call them friends, just make sure to call me a cab because after a wedding reception with this wonderful company I'm not driving home.

At the end of the evening - they even created a special drink that they named in their honor. We did supply our own alcohol but as the day drew near I knew we wouldn't have time to get all the fruit, mixers, etc. I called Heidi the day before the wedding and she was willing to do that portion for us and collect the costs at the venue the next day. These ladies were so pleasant to work with - everyone commented on what great service.
