Marc with Bark Busters and his program was amazing with our dog Niko!! Niko has always been a sweet…read moredog but has had numerous behavior problems with recognizing us as the leaders of the house. Especially when it came to disciplining him when he was bad and he would just growl at us and snap his teeth in defiance. After a few hours with Marc, Niko instantly improved on being walked with a leash and not walking ahead, also being called to sit next to me and not move. These exercises and more condition the dog to recognize our alpha position over him. What's more, last night he jumped on the couch after he had a bath and laid on there (full knowing that was bad) and I got on his case and disciplined him like I usually do. But this time....NO growing back or snapping his teeth! We didn't even train that part with him but he KNEW where his place was and he just sat there and listened. My wife and I couldn't believe it! Marc and his program has worked beyond our expectations and know he will be able to further train him in other areas using this system. And we know we can rely on Marc coming over to help us again if we ever need the help. Very much worth the money! Thank you again!!

I have known Margaret Pittman for over 15 years. I have had the pleasure of working with her twice…read morenow.  First back in 2008, with Elite K9 Academy and then again, later last year at her own business, Way Of Life Canine Academy. Margaret has trained both of my dogs. She trained them to become amazing, competent Service Dogs. Margaret is a consummate professional with vast knowledge of her field.  Her love and passion for the dogs are astounding and palpable! Ms. Pittman makes it a point to get to know her human and Canine clients well. Therefore, she is able to meet their needs in an outstanding manner! Anyone who works with  Margaret for any length of time can see that training dogs is her true purpose and calling  in life! To Margaret, every case is unique, and it deserves individualized attention.  She caters to the needs of all of her clients with concern and respect. The reason I can say this with profound certainty is because both of my Service Dogs were  rescues. If any of you out there have had any experience with rescue dogs, you know, most of them come with challenges. More often than not,  as adopters, we don't know the dogs' history.  This can make training them a difficult task. Margaret approaches working with the dogs with an open mind and an open heart! For example, when,  I first found my original dog, Prince, he had several behaviors and medical conditions that required a great deal of patience and care. Ms. Pittman has the ability to meet the dog from where they are mentally and cultivate an unbreakable bond with them. She never makes  unrealistic promises or goals that she is unable to attain with the Canine. Ms. Pittman is perpetually honest! Margaret studies them in great detail before making any determination about the dogs' capablilties. She consistently remains in tune with their needs. Prince was special! He proved to be a very stubborn boy, and believe me,  at first, he wanted nothing to do with becoming a Service Dog. However,  with Margaret's calm, loving nature and her unrelenting perseverance, along with the divine mastery of her skill; Prince grew to trust and love Ms. Pittman. He wanted to learn and work for her! Because of his desire to please Margaret, he became a stellar Service Dog! I couldn't have imagined my life without him! He was my well trained,  helpful, lovable "left-hand man!" Margaret makes all of her clients a priority! Whenever I communicated with her,  I always felt valued and important. She makes herself very accessible to her customers. As knowledgeable and professional as Margaret is, she is laid-back and welcoming, as well. She has a very inviting demeanor! In my experience, Ms. Pittman makes her clientele feel very comfortable. There is no question or concern that she is not willing to address. Margaret is extremely thorough with the dogs, and she treats them as if they were her own. The dogs receive top-notch medical and physical care, with an abundance of love,  while in Ms. Pittman's custody. Her facility is a dog's paradise! The dogs are given the chance to run, jump, and play while being taught well in a structured, compassionate environment.  In addition, I want people to know that Margaret is the sole owner and operator of  Way Of Life Canine Academy. She is a successful, one woman  show! Currently,  she is the only person having any interaction with the dogs. Trust me, Margaret is most definitely worth her weight in gold! Ms. Pittman is changing the lives of individuals and their furry friends for the better, one case at a time! Margaret is truly making a difference!
