Since we've had multiple home improvement projects going on lately, I've dealt with a multitude of…read morecontractors, and Don and his crew at All About Paint are heads above the rest. From the process of getting a bid all the way through completion of the job, Don was friendly, conscientious, and thorough. Of the three painters that we received bids from, All About Paint was the only one to provide a written quote and a written contract of services that outlines exactly what will be provided. All About Paint painted the entire exterior of our house, which is wood composite siding. They did an incredible job, with great attention to detail, including things I never would have thought to ask for. The trim work is excellent, and Don also made sure that the concrete foundation was painted all the way around the house. They painted the roof of the porches to match our new trim color, and even repainted our rusty garage door lights. The entire job for our two story home was complete in one week. There were as many as 7 crew on the job each day, and they were all kind and respectful of our property. Don, the owner, was there at least once a day to at least check on things, but also did a lot of painting himself. One day Don had pizza delivered to his crew for lunch, which I thought really showed that he valued them as employees. They cleaned everything up perfectly - you would have never known that they were ever there, except for the great new paint job, which we've received many compliments from neighbors on. Don called me a week after completing the job, just to check in and make sure we were happy with everything. Then a couple weeks later, when I had a leak in our roof, he went out of his way to help me find a roofer. If you want your paint job done right, All About Paint is the way to go IMO.

We booked Chris from A to Z after having hired a guy "that was supposed to be from our…read moreneighborhood" who said he just moved here and was starting a business. He gave us a good deal, but once he realized he didn't have the skill to paint our house he quit, so we reached out to A to Z.. Chris came out and just couldn't stop bragging about how he was from California, and was on the news and was set on "teaching these fly by night painters a lesson." Chris walked our house and gave us a decent estimate. We asked if he did basic repairs? He said yes he did little stuff, and I said awesome. So we wrote up the paperwork and I gave him $500 cash. My wife texted him a couple days later and just had a few questions about the paint. Chris then told her he was canceling the job. I then texted him to ask if I could come pick up our deposit "fearing he was scamming us!" He responded with "checks in the mail." And his reason for canceling was "we were too bothersome with pics and texts." This is from 2 texts mind you and a call! He then proceeded to bombard myself and my wife's phones with texts!!! Saying we were too troublesome, and continuing to reiterate that he thought the job was going to be too much of a hassle. I have screen shots over 5 texts to me "way more than he got." I told him the only thing I wanted was a refund. He responded with "Check is in the mail, don't harass me or I will put a hold on it, and I have contacted the authorities..."WTH? He then sent our check with a letter "which I have" basically saying we are too much trouble and our house isn't a mansion." Absolutely unprofessional and would never recommend. All of this could have been avoided had he just said "Sorry I'm unable to take this job; your deposit has been mailed."

I would not recommend this business for any type of home service. I initially reached out because…read moremy washing machine had a faulty lid-lock and I also needed a Tesla charger installed in my garage. While he did complete the charger installation without issue, the problems began with the washing machine. He assured me he could repair it and proceeded to order a replacement part from Amazon. The part didn't fix the issue, and he then told me he wouldn't be able to return to remove it for about two weeks. He suggested I call another appliance specialist, which I did. The new technician told me that no reputable repair professional would ever order washing machine parts from Amazon, as doing so can cause permanent damage. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened--my washer's circuit board was fried, and I ultimately had to purchase a new machine. While he was at my home, he also left his toolbox behind. I texted him about it, and he said he was busy for the next two weeks but would let me know when he could pick it up. After a week and three days with no follow-up, I reached out again for a firm date and time. The screenshots attached show the conversation that followed. He left my home messy and did not clean up after himself. His demeanor throughout the process was extremely unprofessional. I followed up only because he said he would get back to me, and when I held him accountable, he responded poorly. If you need any kind of home service, I strongly recommend choosing another provider. A professional, well-run business would never speak to a client the way he did or handle a job with such carelessness.

I would not recommend using this business for any home service needs. My fiancé, Tommy T., has…read morealready shared his experience, and I am adding my perspective as well. From the beginning, we made it clear that we needed an exact date and time for when he could come by and grab his toolbox, which he left at our house. We both work full-time, so coordinating who can be home is essential. The technician told us he was busy for approximately two weeks but would inform us when he could return to retrieve his toolbox and proceed with the repair. Over a week passed without any update. As a business owner, it is the owner's responsibility to communicate with clients regarding scheduling, timelines, and any delays. When my fiancé followed up, the technician responded in a highly unprofessional manner, including the use of profanity. Using inappropriate language toward clients reflects a lack of professionalism and respect. He accused my fiancé of "spreading toxicity," yet the only toxic behavior we encountered was in the tone and content of his own messages. This level of disrespect, especially coming from a business owner, is extremely concerning. Regarding the services requested, we initially inquired about installing a Tesla charger. Immediately afterward, we asked whether he also repairs washing machines, and he stated that he does. He was fully aware that the consultation was for both the charger installation and the washing machine repair; this was communicated clearly, and he acknowledged it. He also mentioned that his company policy prohibits ordering appliance parts from Amazon, yet he asked us to order the parts on his behalf. This alone indicates that he knew the practice was inappropriate. We ultimately had another appliance specialist come to evaluate the washing machine. That technician was visibly frustrated by the poor quality of the previous repair attempt. He explained that a reputable repair professional would never use Amazon-sourced parts for appliance repairs and was surprised by the overall lack of proper workmanship. We did pay him for what he asked for installing the charger, which he did do well. We did not pay him for any washing machine repairs as he did not repair it. We bought the part ourselves because he told us it was against his policy. Overall, our experience reflects unprofessional behavior, poor communication, and questionable repair practices. I strongly advise others to consider a more reliable and respectful service provider. Below are screenshots showing he understood that the consultation included both the charger and the washing machine, and also stating that he knew it was not in the best interest to use an Amazon part for a repair.
